Kai's POV

"We got to go back. We can't leave her there!" I shouted.

When we arrived at the factory, I noticed someone missing from the group and that was Eunji. Although I hate her attitude and part of me just wanted to be apart from her, I couldn't just leave her out there knowing she's fighting the deads alone. She's a girl for Christ sake!

"We can't risk our lives! It's better to stay here and figure things out" that dude name Park Jimin disagreed.

"Figure things out? By the time we FIGURED THINGS OUT, she would already be dead!"

"Hey! We get it, you're worried about her but acting this way won't help us with the situation!" -Naeun

All of us stayed silent. She does have a point. It wouldn't help neither one of us if we keep on arguing.

I messed my hair and lean against one of the table that had several experiments thingi placed on it.

"Alright. I suggest you all take some rest. We've had a rough day. And besides, we have to gather our strength for tomorrow's battle" Lay suggested.

They all agreed and took their resting position except for me. My mind was fix on Eunji's safety. Whether she's alright or could be dead.

"Kai..." someone called me as he walked to my side. I looked who it was and Jimin's face appeared.

"If you're really worried about her, then let's go search for her together" he whispered.

I raised my eyebrow and fixed my eyes onto him. I losen my arms that I tightly crossed against my chest and turned my body over to him.

"We'll bring Jungkook and Chanyeol. The others can help looking out for the girls" he continued.

I thought for awhile before nodding and said, "Okay".

Jimin nodded and walked towards the center where everyone turned their gaze onto him.

"Okay everyone, listen up. Kai, Jungkook, Chanyeol and I are going to look for Eunji. The others should stay here and guard the girls" Jimin said directly towards the other guys.

"I can protect myself" I heard Naeun replied under her breathe, rolling her eyes away.

"Are you sure about this? I mean, risking our lives for one girl that we know nothing of" Jungkook protested.

He does have a point. Why should we go through such troubles just to save someone we just met today?

"Whether we know her or not, she's still an acquintance. It doesn't matter if we don't know her background, or where she's from. She is still a human who fought with us. With us strangers. That's enough to know that she's one of  us. Don't you think?" V said something that amazed us all.

We didn't expect an amazing feedback from that dude. He was weird all throughout the journey. Seeing him now makes us think differently of him.

"I hate to say this, but alien is right" Naeun interfered.

"Alien?" -V

"Don't get me wrong. It's not that I care for her or anything. I just don't see why we should leave someone who fought with us behind" -Naeun

We stayed silence and thought about all the words that were said. Some part in me was glad that I had these strangers with me.

"So, is everything set now?" Chanyeol looked at all of us before forming a smile and gripping onto his weapon.

We looked at each other and nodded in agreement. I took my heavy knife and waited for the other 3.

"Let's go" -Me

Luhan's POV

The strange girl and I took shelter inside a small cabin which was located in between the school and the factory. We would have reached there (factory) by now if it weren't for those zombies.

Bloody fucking creatures. Can you fucking die already?!

"It's getting late. We'll head out to the factory on sunrise" she stated.

I didn't listen to what she said since my mind was focus on something else. That's right. My best friend, D.O, was eaten by those things and I couldn't do anything about it. I feel so useless.

My heart ached so much that I had to gripped onto my shirt and cried till' my heart's content.

Memories of the time we were together flashback in my head. From when we were small till' the day of this zombie apocalyse and his very last moment.

How I wish I could turn back time and get me eaten instead of him.

Eunji's POV

Tsk! Is it not enough for you to torture me with this zombie thing that you had to leave me with this broken hearted dude? Huh, God!?

I sighed and lean my head against the wall while sitting on my butt, breathing in the sick air that I had to share with all those monsters.

I rubbed my eyes and turned my head to the left where I found Luhan sitting on the floor and burrying his head into his knees. Probably crying.

Seeing his half-dying soul made me realised how bad I was for treating him with no respect. Even when he was loosing his best friend.

I looked down at my knees before letting out heavy sighed. I stood up slowly and walked over to his side.

Seems like he didn't notice me since he hadn't move an inch. I sat down beside him and hugged my legs.

I guess my sudden presence made him looked at me with a mixed expression.

"Ahem.." I pretended to clear my throat without looking at him. Doing this is so not my style.

"If you keep crying, your eyes will swollen and that'll make you look ugly" I said.

He didn't give me any respond so I slowly turned my head to him where I found him looking at his feet. I didn't realise that I was staring at his face.

He is really beautiful...

My thoughts broke off when he looked at me again. "Ahem!" I pretenciously acted like nothing.

"Thank you" he suddenly said.

I raised an eyebrow and fixed my eyes onto him. "Why are you saying thank you?" I asked.

He smiled which, for the first time ever, sent butterflies all over my stomach.

What the heck is this?

"For everything"

Jungkook's POV

"Are you sure we're going in the right direction?" I asked as we were running in the woods to avoid zombies getting a clearer sight of us.

"I saw a cabin on the way here. She could have taken shelter there" -Kai

"Or it could be zombies taking shelter there instead" -Chanyeol

"Why would zombies take shelter?" I asked.

"Err, I don't know? They probably wanted to hide from other zombies? Not all zombies are on the same side ya know?"

I shaked my head and so did the others. His craps made me want to punch him in the face and kick his balls. Can this dude shut up with his nonsense already!?

"There! Cabin!" Kai pointed. He almost ran to it when Jimin stopped him with his hand.

"Wait. Look" he nodded to the direction of the cabin.

There were 5 zombies lurking around the area. If Eunji was in there, thank god she closed the door and the windows.

"There are 4 of us and 5 of them. We're outnumbered" -Jimin

"How hard could it be?" -Chanyeol

"Ahh..unless you want to get your brains eaten, you better shut up and listen" I rolled my eyes. He mumbled something but I was too busy to listen.

"Our only option is to kill them. Remember, guard each other's back" Jimin reminded us. We nodded in understatement.

Wait, since when did Jimin become the leader?

We ran towards the zombies quietly and killed them off one each. I grabbed the samurai sword that I brought along since Suzy forced me to take it, and used it to pierced into the zombie's brainless head.

The zombie growled before falling down to his feet.

"Look out!" I heard someone shouted. I turned around and the zombie in front of me (who could have attacked me) fell on the floor with it's head cracked open.

I looked in front and to my surprise, it was Eunji. Thank god. Behind her was another person and it was a guy. Don't tell me he was the reason she was left behind?

"Eunji! You're alive!" Kai who handled the zombie pretty well came running towards us.

"Ya think?" Eunji rolled her eyes. Cold as ever. Remind me again why we came back for her?

"Guys, let's go! It seems like we attracted the others" Jimin warned us. We quickly charged off with our weapons in our hands and killed off any zombies that stood in our way until we arrived at the factory safely.

I sure hope we can survive this apocalyse...

Hello guys! ExoChanchan98 here! Sorry for the late update and its a short chapter too -3- I was too busy with school stuff that I didn't have the time to update.
