"Are you ready to go Miss Honda?" Yuki asked.

"Yes I am." Tohru got up from the table and followed Yuki inside the restaurant. Carla was sitting at the front desk.

"Here." Tohru said getting out her wallet to pay.

"Oh no Miss Honda, let me pay for our dinner its alright." Yuki insisted.

"Oh but I can't let you do this, your too kind!" Tohru protested.

He smiled. "Miss Honda your too generous, but please since your the guest, let me pay."

Tohru blushed. "Okay."

Just as Yuki was getting out his wallet Carla shook her head.

"No need to pay, hon. Its on the house."

Yuki was shocked. "But I can't, let me at least give you a tip."

Carla laughed. "Hon, its alright. The boss already knows that y'all were coming here the first place. He set this up for you both."

"He knew we were coming?" Tohru gasped.

She nodded. "Shigure called us ahead of time to let us know y'all be coming to visit. So we planned a little treat for you both."

Tohru reached forward and hugged her. "Oh thank you so much!"

Carla hugged her back. "Its my pleasure." She released her grip. "Y'all better go now, its getting late."

Yuki smiled. "We'll come back soon."

Tohru agreed and followed Yuki out the front door saying their farewells to their waitress. As they walked outside the snow has stopped falling and the sun was setting. The sky suddenly turned bright colors of blue and green streaked across the sky.

"Wow!" Tohru breathed. "What a beautiful sight!"

Yuki agreed and turned to look at Tohru who was staring at the sky wide eyed. "Yes, but not as beautiful as you Miss Honda." He murmured.

Tohru slowly turned her head around to face Yuki. His smile is just so kind. And he called me beautiful?? Tohru quickly turned away and blushed.

Yuki chuckled softly. "No need to hide it, Miss Honda."

Tohru turned back again. "Thank you Yuki."

He smiled at her.

Suddenly Tohru saw a little girl and her friends running behind Yuki. One of them was blindfolded.

"Tag!" One of them yelled. The blindfolded one was running around trying to catch her friends. She was gonna run straight into Yuki!

"Yuki!" Tohru exclaimed. "Watch out!"

"Huh?" He turned around.

"Dog."

Shigure flinched. "Umm what did you say Hana??"

She sniffed the air. "I smell... A dog." She said in her emotionless voice.

"Oh!" Shigure laughed nervously. "Someone must be walking their dog around, huh?"

Hana looked around. "Nope, no sign of dog."

"Oh well umm probably someone just passed by recently with a dog right??" Shigure was now shaking.

"I'm not sure." She responded. "The air is very cold which is hard for the particles to travel around, because the lack of heat in the air. That is why its unlikely for a scent to travel around that fast." She paused. "Unless you have a very sensitive nose."

Shigure gulped. "Oh yes! That's probably it! Well anyways let's get going, its almost dark soon."

Hana nodded and followed Shigure around the festival.

"I'm sorry I have to put you through all this trouble, Miss Honda." Yuki apologized.

"Oh no worries!" Tohru smiled.

Yuki transformed into his rat form and now is riding inside Tohru's pocket in her coat.

"Where would you like to go now, Miss Honda?" Yuki asked.

She thought about it. Then she spotted the ferris wheel, all lighten up with colorful lights.

"Is the ferris wheel okay?" She asked.

"Of course." Yuki replied as he climbed down her coat. "Let me go change first."

Tohru nodded and handed Yuki his clothes. He sprinted away on his little rat feet behind the bush.

Finally Yuki came out behind the bush in his normal form dressed.

"Shall we head over to ferris wheel, Miss Honda?" Yuki asked holding out his arm.

Tohru took it gratefully. "Yes we shall."

The two of them walked over to the ferris wheel line behind 2 adults. A few minutes later and they were in the front.

"Here you go." The man said opening the door of the cart.

"Thank you." Tohru replied as she stepped inside, followed by Yuki. Next thing they knew is, the ferris wheel started to slowly move up.

Tohru gazed over the festival. Everywhere she looked she saw millions of bright lights shining in the evening. She could even spot the Zodiacs restaurant. The sky looked wonderful, filled with amazing colors. She wondered if she could see Hana, Uo, Kyo and Shigure from here. Probably not.

Mom this is so beautiful... I never knew the view up here is so breath taking..

"Enjoying the view, Miss Honda?" Yuki asked her.

Tohru smiled. "Yes! Isn't it amazing! I'd love to come back here again!"

Yuki chuckled.

Tohru gazed at Yuki for a moment. If only things were so simple. Yuki I don't know what to do.. I can't even build up the courage to say that I like you.. Well I mean of course I like you! Its just more than just a like. Maybe a like like... Or love? Yuki I love everything about you, you're so kind and sweet. You truly are a Prince.

Tohru leaned back against the seat sighing.

"Is everything alright, Miss Honda?"

"Hmm?" Tohru looked up. "Oh yes of course."

Yuki didn't seem convinced. "What's on your mind?"

She sighed again. "It isn't easy is it?"

"What isn't easy?"

"Liking someone.. You know? Have you ever had that feeling, that you like someone? And your too afraid to tell them or they might turn you down? It isn't easy keeping it to herself but its harder to admit it to the person."

"Its just.." She continued. "Er.. Never mind."

Yuki looked at her. "No its okay Miss Honda. If you have anything on your mind at all don't hold it all back. I'm here for you if you need me and I'll always listen."

Suddenly tears started to build up in Tohru's eyes. She looked away and tried to focus on the ferris wheel as it slowly rotated up. She couldn't hold it anymore. No no no Tohru you can't cry! Too late. A single drop of tear slid down her cheek.

"Miss Honda!" Yuki caught the tear with his pointer finger. "Is everything okay??"

Tohru sniffed. She felt Yuki wrap his arms around her.

"Miss Honda..?" Yuki asked again.

She shook her head. "I'm sorry you have to see me like this, Yuki. This is not like me... I should be happy right now, enjoying this moment here with you at the festival. Now look at me, I'm a mess.. I'm sorry you have to deal with my crying, I'm sorry.. I know I must sound like Rinto but truly I am. Yuki don't look at me like that this is all my fault I'm so-"

Tohru's eyes widened as she was cut off by Yuki who placed a small kiss on her lips. She blinked away the tear and all she could think of was Yuki and how tender his lips were. She slowly closed her eyes and felt her cheeks turn red. Y-Yuki is kissing me?? Wow...

Finally Yuki broke away letting out a small breath, leaving Tohru shocked by the sudden action.

He looked away ashamed. "I'm sorry Miss Honda.. That was rude of me.."

Tohru was speechless. She didn't know how to react with happiness or shock.

"Yuki?"

He turned to look at her. Guilt filled his eyes and Tohru felt the urge to hug him.

"Yuki, don't be sorry. Thank you."

Now he was speechless. "For what, Miss Honda?"

"For everything. For bringing me to this wonderful festival, spending time with me... And kissing me softly.. It helped wash away all my sadness. So thank you."

Yuki smiled brightly and held Tohru's hand. "No.. Miss Honda.. Thank you."

And for once it Tohru's life, she left a strong love towards Yuki. Something different from what she sees towards Kyo.

Tohru couldn't hold it back anymore. She leaned forward and planted a small kiss on Yuki's cheek. He blushed furiously.

The two of them enjoyed the last moments on the ferris wheel holding hands. Once they got off they went to go find Shigure and Hana since it was getting late. They walked through the crowd hand in hand. Smiling to themselves...
