Its been a week since the incident and Uo's been recovering well. Her cuts and bruises had vanished but she still needed to wear a cast on her left arm. The school principal was kind enough to let Uo spend some time off from school and rest at home.

No one other than Kyo, Yuki, Tohru, and Hana know about the incident. Not even Uo's own parents.

They haven't been home at all lately and they seem so distant around her. They never talk to her, nor acknowledge that she's they're own daughter who is still living with them. Uo's parents leave the house very early in the morning then come back home very late at night. This occurred 24/7.

So Uo stayed home alone at her house with a broken arm and school work to finish.

Ding

Uo looked up from her homework and her eyes reached her laptop sitting on her bed. She stared at her homework then got up from her desk and walked towards her laptop and opened it.

Kyo's chat:

DamnYuki: Hey Yankee

Uo smiled to herself. Kyo has been messaging her ever since she got out of the hospital and it gave her a lot of company.

BlondeYankee: What's up orange top?

DamnYuki: Just sitting on the roof, how bout you?

BlondeYankee: I was doing homework then I got lazy... Haha don't fall off

DamnYuki: I've been on here a thousands times and I haven't fallen off

BlondeYankee: ... Yet xD

DamnYuki: In your dreams yah dumbass

BlondeYankee: Look who's talking scaredy cat

DamnYuki: Oh shut up

BlondeYankee: So how's Tohru?

DamnYuki: Cleaning and cooking as usual. She's getting a lot better now that she knows you'll be fine

BlondeYankee: That's good. I don't want her worry so much it'll get her stressed

DamnYuki: Yeah true. So are your parents home?

BlondeYankee: No.. I don't know what they're up to

DamnYuki: No offense but that's pretty stupid of them leaving their daughter all alone

BlondeYankee: I guess, but I don't let that bother me. Besides I'm used to it

DamnYuki: Don't say that, no one can stand being alone for that long

BlondeYankee: Well news flash tough guy, I've been alone my whole life. I've grown into it.

DamnYuki: Oh.. I'm sorry

BlondeYankee: Its fine, its not your fault.

DamnYuki: To be honest, I wish I was there with you instead of being stuck here

BlondeYankee: Yeah I feel the same way

Uo abruptly looked around. Someone was outside.

BlondeYankee: Hey I gotta go. Message me later?

DamnYuki: Definitely, cya

Uo closed her laptop and placed it on her bed. She cautiously walked out of her room and tiptoed downstairs. No one was there and she couldn't see anyone at the from door. A bright, yellow piece of paper caught here eye outside.

Uo opened the front door and cold air swept inside the house making her shiver. The paper was taped next to the doorbell. She reached out and grabbed it, peeling it off from the wall. Uo u folded it and started reading.

Dear Arisa Uotani,

I know you might be wondering why we always leave you here alone at home... And we are terribly sorry. Your father and I didn't know how to break it to you but... I'm afraid we wont be coming back ever again. I cant explain why but its very complicated. Be a good girl and do well in school. Watch out for your two best friends, Tohru and Hana. You've grown into a beautiful young lady. Don't try coming to look for us. We're already as far away from you as you keep reading this letter.

Take care Uo. And I apologize greatly for all the pain we caused you. This was our mistake. We should've been cautious before. Now your here. I don't care if you stay in this house or move with someone else. That's your decision now.

Uo stared at the letter in her hands. She trembled as she stood by the door, not only because of the cold weather, but because her parents have abandoned her. Their own daughter...

Uo crumpled to the ground crying softly. She never felt more alone than she was now. Her parents were the only ones left she had who were her closest family. And now their gone..

Their mistake? Are they talking about me?? Am I they're mistake?

Uo called the Sohma house and hoped someone would pick up soon.

"Kyo Sohma."

"Kyo? Its Uo."

"Hey, what's up?"

She took a deep breath. "Can I come over? Its urgent.."

"Yeah of course. Wait, hey are you crying?"

Uo held her breath and realized tears were streaming down her face.

"That's not important right now. I'll explain when later."

"Oh okay, I hope everything's okay."

"Well apparently its the opposite. I'll see you later."

"Okay, bye."

Uo hung up her phone and slipped it in her pocket. She went upstairs and changed into jeans and a hoodie. On her way out the door she grabbed her keys and the letter that was taped on the wall. Then walked out her house locking the door behind her.

Shigure stared in shock as he read the letter Uo showed him. They were all gathered around the dining room, including Kyo, Yuki, and Tohru.

"Uotani-chan... I don't know what to say." Shigure spoke. "I'm so sorry."

Uo stared at her hands. "Its fine. I guess I should've seen this coming."

"Hell no! Uo shouldn't be put through all this bullshit its not fair!" Kyo shouted.

"Well it happened already and there's nothing I can do to change it." She responded.

"Why don't we go look for them?" Tohru suggested.

Uo shook her head. "Didn't you read the letter? They don't want me coming after them. And even if I did, what's the point?"

"I still can't believe that all this time they would treat you like this." Kyo growled. "You deserve better!"

Uo sighed. "This is my life. Its always been this way."

Yuki exchanged a quick glance with Shigure then spoke. "Uotani-chan, I don't think its right for you to keep living alone in your house especially when you have school to worry about. How would you like to live here?"

"Here?" Uo choked out.

"Yes!" Tohru smiled. "You already know about the Zodiac curse so its alright."

"You really mean it?"

Yuki nodded. "If Shigure allows it then everything is all good."

"Sure, it would be nice having you here." He responded. "High school girls! Highschool girls! 1, 2, 3! Highsc-"

"Shut up you perverted dog!" Kyo scowled slapping Shigure in the head who laughed.

"So what do you say Uo?" Tohru asked. "Do you want to stay with us?"

Uo couldn't believe it. "Yes. Yes of course!"

Tohru smiled and gave her a warm hug. "Then its official! We'll start getting your stuff from your house tomorrow so you can move them here!"

"We have a spare guest room next to Tohru's room." Shigure replied. "You can stay there if you want."

Tears rolled down Uo's face. "Thank you all so much. I'm so grateful."

"Your very welcome Uotani-chan." Yuki smiled.

"Yeah its gonna be really fun having you here." Kyo added.

"Well let's go and get you settled." Shigure said. "But first, let's eat dinner. I'm starving."

Tohru laughed. "I'll go get the food in the kitchen."

"You taped the letter at the her house, right?"

"Yes sir, just as you ordered."

"Perfect. My plans are falling right into place."

"What do we do now?"

"Nothing, we just wait. I know she'll start living in Shigure's house from now on and we want it to be that way."

"And her parents?"

"Gone. I shouldn't have done that, but Minako and her gang failed at killing her so I'll just have to do it myself."

"And what will that accomplish, sir?"

"Well now, you see I was about to kill that Tohru Honda girl for finding out about the Zodiac curse but whatever, I met her live. But now another human has learned about this secret, that I cannot let it happen."

"Of course, sir."

"Though that girl has fallen in love with Kyo Sohma. I cannot let that happen also. Once she finds out about his true curse... Hehehe.. Nothing will be able to stop what will happen next. And once she does finds out..."

*Glass shatters*

"I will finally put an end to her well being."
