The week flew by fast and Tohru woke up bright and early on a Friday morning.

"Good morning mom!" She yawned hugging her mom's picture. "Today is Friday that means the Winter Dance is tonight!"

She squealed and jumped out of bed fixing her blankets and pillows. Tohru rushed to her closet and picked out her normal school uniform and slipped it on.

"Well I've gotta go to school now mom." She replied. "I'll see you later!"

Once she flew a kiss to her mom's picture frame, Tohru ran out the door. She walked down the hallway and downstairs to prepare her lunch for school. Her hands flew around the kitchen making sandwiches for her, Yuki and Kyo. Bread, ham, cheese, lettuce, mayonnaise, bread, ham, cheese, lettuce... She repeated inside her head.

"Well your in quite a rush." Shigure chuckled as he walked inside the kitchen.

"Oh hi Shigure!" Tohru greeted. "And yes I am! The Winter Dance is tonight and I'm very excited!"

He laughed. "Well that's good to hear."

"Yup!" Tohru kept making more sandwiches until she finished all they're lunch. She wrapped them in a plastic wrap and placed them inside three paper bags along with some fruit.

"Good morning Miss Honda." Yuki greeted as he walked up to her.

"Good morning Yuki!" She replied, planting a quick kiss on his nose. "I've made you lunch!"

Yuki smiled. "Thank you but you didn't have to do that."

"Oh yes I did." Tohru giggled.

"Why? Is today a special event?"

"Yep the Winter Dance is tonight, remember?"

"Oh that's right." Yuki said. "I almost forgot about it."

"Well its a good thing I reminded you."

"Yes, yes it is, thank you." Yuki hugged her tight.

"Ugh give me a break and get a room." Kyo grumbled, standing in the doorway of the kitchen.

"Oh sorry Kyo!" Tohru laughed, untangling herself from Yuki's arms. "By the way I made you lunch!"

Kyo nodded and grabbed a paper back sitting on the table and walked out the kitchen.

Shigure chuckled. "Well now, looks like you three better get going to school now."

"Of course." Yuki replied. "Are you ready, Miss Honda?"

She nodded. "Yep! I'm ready."

The couple walked out of the house holding hands, followed by Kyo who was trailing behind them.

"Hey Tohru!" Uo called from the lunch table she sat at with Hana.

Tohru waved and hugged Yuki who was with her, and they went separate ways. She walked over to her friends and sat down.

"Hi Uo and Hana!" She greeted.

"Hello Tohru." Hana replied.

"Are you excited for tonight?" Uo asked.

She nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! I can't wait to dress up. Its gonna be so much fun."

"Same here." Uo smiled.

"So I planned for us to come pick you up at Uo's house since you'll be staying there, right Hana?" Tohru asked.

She nodded. "Yes. What time will you pick us up?"

Tohru thought about it. "Since the dance starts at 5:30 we'll come pick you up at 5:00. Plus we live close to the school."

"Sounds good."

"Hey Tohru." Uo said. "Does Shigure um have the orange cat still?"

"Er, why yes." She replied. "He's still living with us hehe. Why?"

She shrugged. "No reason, just asking."

Hana looked at her suspiciously then went back to eating her lunch.

Uo sighed internally. I just want to see that orange cat again. He seemed pretty nice. And he kinda reminds me of Kyo for some reason. Maybe cause the color of his fur matches his hair? I don't know.

The lunch bell rang and all the students cleaned up and walked out of the cafeteria to they're next classes.

As soon as school was over Tohru rushed back to the house and in her room to get ready for the dance. She rumaged through her closet until she found her dress. It was a long, strapless, turquoise prom dress which curled on the bottom. A silver belt wrapped around the dress's waist.

Tohru stared in awe of the dress, which used to belong to her mother. Remembering her wear that brought back happy memories. She took off her school unifrom and tossed it in her laundry bin. Then she carefully slipped on the beautiful gown, and observed it in the mirror.

"Oh mom, your dress is lovely." She whispered. Tohru gave a little twirl around her room, savoring the moment of how comfortable the dress felt against her body.

She looked at the clock which sat on her night stand near her bed. It read 4:26.

"Oh, well I better go check on Yuki and Kyo if they're ready." She said to herself. She walked out her room and waved goodbye to her mom's frame.

Tohru walked downstairs to find Yuki sitting on the couch waiting for her.

"Hi Yuki!" She greeted.

He turned around. "Hello Miss Hon-" he paused, jaw gaping. His eyes wide in awe as Tohru walked up to him.

She laughed. "Is everything okay?"

He gave his head a shake. "Yes everything's okay, Miss Honda. Its just that you look very beautiful."

Tohru blushed. "Thank you.. You look very handsome, yourself Yuki."

Now it was his turn to blush. Yuki was wearing a black tuxedo with a turquoise bow tie, matching Tohru's dress.

"Thank you love." He smiled, kissing her forehead.

Tohru heard footsteps pounding down the stairs. She turned and saw Kyo. He was wearing a black tux like Yuki but with a black bowtie.

"Hi Kyo! Are you ready for the dance?" She asked.

"Yeah, I guess so." He mumbled.

Ding dong

"Who could that be?" Yuki wondered.

Tohru went and opened the door to find Hatsuharu standing in the doorway. He was wearing a black tux with a purple bowtie. What's with the color coded bowties? XD

"Hi Haru!" She greeted.

"Hey Tohru." He replied. "Are you guys all ready to go?"

Kyo came to stand by the door. He took a quick peek behind Haru. "No way. Your not driving. You don't have your license."

Haru lifted his finger and shushed him. "Relax, its just for the night. No one will know."

"Who's car is that anyways?" Yuki butted in.

"Hatori's." Haru replied. "He let me borrow it."

"Well ya better not crash it with your damn driving." Kyo muttered.

Haru smirked and waved him off. "Well if you all are set, let's get going and pick up the ladies."

The four piled inside the car. Haru in the driver's seat, Kyo sitting in shotgun, and Yuki and Tohru sitting in the very back go leave room for Uo and Hana.

Haru started the car and they were off to go pick them up at Uo's house.

Haru parked in front of Uo's house and turned towards Tohru.

"So who want to go pick them up?" He asked.

"I think you and Kyo should." Tohru suggested. "You guys are they're dates after all."

Haru nodded and got out of the car, followed by a reluctant Kyo.

"So did you buy your girlfriend anything?" Haru asked once he rang the doorbell.

"Why woukd i? And she's not my girlfriend." Kyo growled.

He laughed. "Okay whatever you say."

The door opened revealing Uo and Hana wearing they're dresses. Uo wore a long, flowy, strapless black gown with silver designs embroidered on the waist. Hana wore a long purple dress with silver straps and a belt.

"Wow." Haru breathed. "You guys look amazing."

Uo smirked. "Thanks."

"You don't look bad yourself." Hana smiled.

Kyo stood there, gaping at Uo. I never seen her wear a dress before. She looks..

"Hey orange top."

He blinked out of his thoughts and made eye contact with Uo. "Uh yeah?"

"I know I look pretty, but you don't have to stare." She smirked.

Kyo scoffed. "I wasn't staring."

"Sure." Haru laughed, the stopped when Kyo shot him daggers.

The two gentlemen led the ladies back to the car and opened the door to the front. Kyo was about to step inside the passenger's seat but Haru blocked his way.

"Hold up there." He smirked. "Why don't I let my date sit with me and you can sit with your girlfriend."

"She's not my girlfriend! I'm not his girlfriend!" Kyo and Uo yelled simultaneously.

Haru chuckled. "Whatever you say." He gestured for Hana to step inside the car who nodded gratefully. He walked to the drivers seat and hopped inside. All who was left now was Uo and Kyo.

Kyo rolled his eyes and opened the back door for Uo.

"Ladies first." He mumbled.

"Oh how nice of you!" Uo said sarcastically.

"Zip it Yankee." He growled.

She smirked at him and stepped inside the car.

"Hana! Uo! You two look wonderful!" Tohru exclaimed.

Uo smiled. "Thanks kiddo, you look amazing."

"Thank you Tohru." Hana replied.

"Okay! Next stop is the Winter dance!" Hatsuharu announced. He started the car and the 6 friends were off to the school.
