To begin with, let's remember that Pluto, planet that Scorpio has special affinities with, is in Scorpio's house of intellect and communication, where it will stay until 2024. It's a long time, so you'd better capitalize on the advantages of this position: power of persuasion, mental strength, analytical spirit, talent for research and investigating, interest in psychology and various deep topics, subtle or even mysterious; and defend yourself from its unpleasant side: excessive critical spirit, negative thoughts, anxiety or phobias, nervous tension, a tendency to manipulate others.

The best thing would be to orient yourself toward studying topics that you're passionate about; learn to discuss honestly and openly what bothers you with someone close; try to learn a few mental relaxation techniques or start something of a personal development nature. So 2016 is particularly good for finding a friend or a group to support you in these directions.

Neptune, another slow evolution planet, transits Scorpio's house of love and eroticism. It's a sensitive position because, while very romantic, Neptune often has a deceiving influence, tending to promise a lot and deliver little. Be careful, because Jupiter's position in Scorpio's opposite sign (during the August 2015 – September 2016 term) could amplify the tendency to develop illusions or enter into a murky relationship!

Last fall, Saturn exited Scorpio for good, where it won't return until 2041-2042. In 2016 we find it in Scorpio's house of finances though, where it has a rather restrictive influence and challenges you to assume a more mature and thoughtful financial behavior.

Because Mars' retrograde cycle includes Scorpio's area, you could go through an agitated term until fall 2016, pretty stressful and full of events that keep you on your toes.

Mars' transit through Scorpio could be felt in Scorpios' health too: acute diseases, infections, injuries, burns, and so on. Be particularly careful during January-February and June-July 2016!

With Neptune in Scorpio's house of love, you're in a time of your life when charming and magic love stories could occur, but also complicated, inadequate, ill-advised, impossible or disappointing. This predisposition is latent but persistent for a few years and manifests only when stimulated by the transit of some other important planet.

Such a transit is that of Jupiter, ruler of Scorpio's house of love, that, passing through the opposite sign of where Neptune is, could trigger such a relationship during August 2015 – September 2016.

In 2016, Mars, planet of lust and sexuality, could make things worse because, due to its retrograde cycle, it will be in Scorpio for a pretty long time (January-February, June-July). And since Mars is passionate, energetic, and hungry for action, you might be the one to initiate the relationship, to take the first step. But Mars is also rash, imprudent, and impulsive. Try not to push things, you might get the opposite effect of what you're hoping for!
