Libra (f) x Leo (m): Panic (part 2)

(Requested)

This one actually wasn't that bad.

Enjoy!

(Gemini is a girl, by the way!)

Libra's POV:

For the first time in a long time, I was happy. Or, as happy as I could be. Leo and I were close, and the bullying died down. Leo could be intimidating when he needed to be. Anyway, my anxiety was going away, I had more friends, I ate at school, everything was perfect. And all because of Leo.

I walked through the hallways of school, a smile on my face. Leo had asked me to meet up in the science classroom. It would be empty, since school had just ended. The hallways were pretty much empty. There was a few people still here, but that's because school had literally just ended.

I opened the door to the science classroom and greeted Leo with a big smile, but he only replied with a weak one.

"Hi Leo," I greeted. "What's up?" He looked down at his feet which was dangling off the desk he was currently sitting on.

"There's something I have to tell you," he said seriously, and avoided eye contact. The smile left my face as I thought of all the possibilities.

"Libra, I'm moving." My eyes widened, and I felt tears water in my eyes.

"B-but you just got here," I pointed out, trying my best to keep my voice from cracking. I looked over at Leo in fear, and maybe even a slight glimpse of hope. Maybe he was joking? I mean, it's not impossible. ... Right?

"I know, but my dad got a job offer in another town, far from here, and I have to go along," he replied, still looking away.

I sniffed, trying hard to not cry. "It's not fair."

"I know..." Leo nodded sadly in agreement, and I felt tears stream down my face.

"I guess this is goodbye, then," Leo said and stood up. My head drooped down, and I couldn't force myself to say a word, or even look at him. He smiled weakly, before leaving.

I broke down right then and there, and dropped to the ground, sobbing my broken heart out. What would happen now? Now that he's not here to scare the bullies away? Now that he's not here to force the anxiety to stay away? Now that he's not here to keep my life on track?

I didn't even say goodbye. Heck, I didn't even look at him. And that hurt.

(The end! Nah, I'm just kidding. So... THE STORY MUST GO ON!)

Gemini's POV:

"What will you be ordering today, sir?" I asked and pulled out my small notebook and pen, not even looking at the person ordering,

"Gemini?" The voice asked, making me look up. Anger spread instantly across my face.

"What do you think your doing here?" I asked angrily but quietly, trying not to bug the other customers.

"Uh, ordering a drink," he replied with a 'duh' tone.

"You know what I mean," I replied sternly and crossed my arms. The boy I was talking to was no other than Leo.

He sighed. "I'm looking for Libra."

"I can't believe you had the nerve to come back." I glared coldly at him. "She's finally ok, and I'm not letting you ruin her life again."

"What happened after I left?" Leo asked with sadness in his eyes. I sighed to cool myself down and sat down across from him.

"Once you left, something inside her broke," I started. "You already know about her anxiety and getting bullied and all that, but when you moved here, all that died down, and Libra was actually happy. She had a normal life, for once."

Leo nodded, to show me he was listening.

"When you left, all the anxiety and bullying came rushing back, and it was to much for her to handle. She got depressed, and started seeing a therapist. It got so far to cutting, and she even attempted suicide."

I could see the guilt and sadness in Leo's eyes.

"Leo, you fixed her. But once you left, you broke her. She was ruined, devastated. She's been through hell and back." I started feeling protective of Libra, and furrowed my eyebrows in anger before continuing.

"She's finally happy for the first time after you left, and I'm not letting you break her all over again." I softened up a bit and sighed.

"Gem, you need help over there?!" Libra called, giggling after. Leo turned around and saw Libra in a waitress outfit and her hair pulled up into a ponytail, but what he noticed first, was the big smile on her face.

"No thanks, Libra!" I replied and looked over at Leo, who had his head turned back towards Libra, before looking back at me sadly.

"Please Leo," I begged. "You see how happy she is. Don't ruin it." Leo thought for a while, before nodding slightly and standing up. I stood up as well.

"Aren't you gonna order anything?" I asked, and earned a sad shake from Leo's head in response, before he left the café. I sighed, before getting back to my work.

Leo's POV:

I didn't want to do it, but I couldn't help myself. Call me selfish, but I had to see her again.

I walked down the street until I saw that house I recognized. I walked up the porch, and "accidentally" peaked through the window, seeing the exact same furniture as before. Obviously, this was Libra's house. It hadn't changed a bit.

I pulled out a note from my jacket pocket, and read it one last time before placing it in front of her door. I knew it could blow away, but I was taking that chance.

I breathed out before walking back down the porch and down the street, my hands in my pockets. I looked back, seeing Libra already on her way home from work, looking happier than ever. I looked forward again, continuing down the road.

Libra's POV: (Ugh, so many POVs!)

I walked up my porch, seeing a note in front of my door. I picked it up, and it read,

"Meet me in the science classroom at our old high school"

I stood there, reading the same sentence over and over again. I couldn't choose if I was gonna go or not. I mean, this could be from some guy who wants to kidnap me or rape me or something, but I couldn't help but feel that if I didn't go, then I'd regret it.

I took my chance, and stuffed the note into my pocket before heading towards my old high school, also known as the worst years of my entire life.

I pushed open the door to the science room, feeling a serious case of deja vu, seeing Leo sitting on the same desk with his legs dangling over the edge. My face showed no sign of shock or surprise.

"I spoke with Gemini," Leo started.

"I know," I replied. I'm not dumb, I knew exactly who Gem was talking with. And I figured it was Leo who had written that note.

"She said that you were happy," he said.

"I am." Silence filled the room. I wasn't ready to forgive him. Even though it wasn't his choice to leave, he still made my life a living hell, and that isn't easily forgiven.

"You know why I asked you to meet me in this room?" He asked, but I didn't reply. "So we could have at least one good memory of this room." Silence.

"Listen, I'm sorry for moving." I still didn't reply.

"But I'm here now," he continued. "That's gotta mean something, right?"

"I'm sorry Leo, but I can't forgive you that easily," I started. "I know that doesn't sound fair since it wasn't your choice, but how do I know you won't leave me again?" I felt tears water in my eyes, and anxiety rush though my body.

"How do I know I won't break?" I continued as a tear ran down my cheek. "How do I know if I'll get my life back on track again? And-and--" Leo cut me off by placing his lips on mine. I haven't even noticed that he wasn't on the desk anymore.

"Libra, I love you. And I'm sorry for moving. I really, truly am. ... But I promise I'll be for you now."

"That's what you said last time," I replied quietly and looked down.

Leo nodded slightly. "I get it. There's nothing I can do to get your trust back." He started walking towards the door, and I looked back at him. He looked back at me, and smiled weakly.

"I love you, Libra." He turned to leave, but I grabbed him and pulled him back before placing my lips on his. He was shocked, but gave into the kiss.

"I love you too, Leo."
