Libra woke up in her own bed at the zodiac mansion. She thought of a great idea. Libra walked over to Virgo's room and knocked on the door.

"Come in."

Libra entered Virgo's room. It was full of bookshelves and notebooks. Because of Virgo's OCD, everything had to be perfectly organized in its proper spot. Virgo was at her dresser, reading.

"I have an idea! We should have a pool party tonight. Just for the 12 of us."

"That's a great idea. We could get drinks and snacks. But not too many snacks."

"Should I go ask Aries if she approves, since she always gives the final decision?"

"Nah. She only needs to approve if it's something big or if it requires us leaving the house."

"Okay I'll let everyone else know then." Libra ran off to text everyone the great news.

Later, Virgo called everyone to the living room for a meeting.

"Okay guys listen up! It was Libra's idea to have a pool party so you can thank her for that. But we need some people to go buy snacks. Any volunteers?"

"I'll go!" volunteered Aquarius.

"Me too!" volunteered Sagittarius.

"I want to go as well," said Capricorn.

"And I'll go too," said Aries.

"Add me to the list," said Gemini.

"Never mind I'll stay home!" said Aries. Then Virgo gave the group some money and they took off.

Virgo sighed. "The rest of us will clean the house."

"Right. We'll clean the house all right," said Scorpio.

"I'm going to clean my phone off the couch." Leo picked his phone off the couch, sat back down, and started playing it.

"I'll clean my minecraft house," said Taurus.

"SCORPIO! STOP FILLING MY HOUSE WITH LAVA!" screamed Cancer.

"Whoops. Did I do that?" asked Scorpio innocently.

"I'll help you CLEAN up all of the lava," chuckled Libra.

"Me too!" said Pisces. Virgo sighed and started cleaning since everyone else was lazy and useless. It's not like they ever did a good job anyway.

At the mall, Sagittarius and Capricorn went to the food store while Aquarius and Gemini went shopping for other stuff. Sagittarius picked out various chocolates and chips. Capricorn picked out pop and fruity drinks. Then Sagittarius went to the cake section. She saw a vanilla cake with chocolate chunks and chocolate drizzled on the surface. Strawberries decorated the edge of the cake. She sighed.

"What's the matter?" Sagittarius turned around and saw Capricorn standing there.

"We only have enough money for one cake, but Aries will probably kill us if we don't bring her back a cheesecake. But I just thought that cake there looked delicious." She got the cheesecake and put it in the shopping cart.

"Here," Capricorn pulled out his wallet and gave Sagittarius some money.

"You don't have to do that. Virgo gave us money for a reason, and that cake costs like twenty dollars," protested Sagittarius.

"I don't care, you really want that cake don't you? Plus, we're all rich. Twenty dollars is nothing."

"You're right! Thanks!" Sagittarius gave Capricorn a big hug then got her cake.

Although Capricorn didn't understand why it pleased him so much to see her so happy. Ever since they were younger, Capricorn felt the need to watch over Sagittarius and make her happy. Something about her smile made him want to do anything to keep her happy.

It's not that he liked her he just... would even sell a kidney to keep her happy. But he totally didn't like her.

After everyone returned from the mall, the zodiacs started setting up. It pleased Aries to see they brought her back a vanilla and chocolate swirled cheesecake with whipped cream on top.

Later on, everyone went to their backyard where the pool was. Virgo sat back in one of the chairs reading a book. Sagittarius sat beside Virgo watching everyone else. Pisces, Cancer and Capricorn were swimming around. Leo and Libra were sitting on the edge of the shallow end dipping their feet in the water and were talking. Scorpio and Taurus were at the snack table on the grass since Virgo didn't allow any food near the pool. Gemini and Aries did contests like who could stay under water the longest and who was the fastest swimmer. Aquarius swam around on her own.

Pisces was having fun, but then she realized something.

"Who owns those tree houses? There's only five of them," asked Pisces.

"Gemini shares one with Scorpio, Aries shares one with Virgo, I share one with Capricorn, Taurus shares one with Leo, while Libra, Aquarius, and Sagittarius share the other one," replied Cancer.

"Can you guys build me a tree house? I want one but I don't know how to build it myself!"

"Sure, just ask Taurus later. Sagittarius was tired of sharing with two other people anyway."

"Okay."

Leo swam over to them. "Virgo is reading again instead of having fun."

"Why don't you leave her alone Leo?" asked Cancer.

Capricorn got out of the pool. He walked over to Virgo and Sagittarius."You girls going to have any fun at all tonight?"

"Reading is fun, now shut up."

Sagittarius shooed him away. "I'm tired. I'll join in later."

"Taurus!" shouted Capricorn "Come over here."

Taurus was the strongest out of the zodiacs. He walked over to Capricorn. "What is it?"

"Virgo said she wants you to toss her in the deep-end."

"No I didn't!" Taurus picked Virgo up and carried her to the other end of the pool. "My book! Capricorn that was evil!" Taurus threw her in the pool and jumped in after her.

"Being the mature one gets boring sometimes," said Capricorn. Then he faced Sagittarius and took her hand. "Your turn."

"Capricorn!" whined Sagittarius.

Capricorn pulled Sagittarius into the water. "That wasn't too bad was it?"

"No it wasn't," replied Sagittarius still holding Capricorn's hand. "Now that I'm in the pool, I might as well swim around a bit."

Scorpio decided to go inside and chill in the hot tub. As soon as he sat down, Pisces and Aquarius came over and sat by him.

"You should stop sitting all alone," said Pisces.

"I don't mind. I'm used to it," replied Scorpio.

Aquarius furrowed her brow. "What do you mean?"

"I never really had any friends until I moved here a year ago. So I'm used to being alone."

"Well you're not alone now. We're friends remember?" asked Pisces.

"Maybe I should stop sitting alone then?" asked Scorpio.

Aquarius playfully punched him. "Of course!"

"I have a question for your Pisces," said Scorpio.

"What?" asked Pisces.

"Why do you always being someone else along when you talk to me? Are you scared?" asked Scorpio.

"Uh... not at all! Me and Aquarius wanted to go in the hot tubs before we saw you here, right?" asked Pisces.

Aquarius nodded. "Yeah! I just love the warm water. I can't stand cold water for too long."

Sagittarius and Capricorn got tired of swimming, so they sat at the edge of the pool.

"What do you want to do now?" asked Capricorn.

"We could go to my tree house and talk I guess," replied Sagittarius.

"Okay." They both got a towel each and went over to the rope ladder. They climbed up and sat on their towels once they reached the top.

"I'm having so much fun."

"Me too." There was an awkward silence.

"So... are you and Virgo dating or anything?"

"No... Why?"

"If you were I wouldn't be able to do this." Sagittarius leaned in and kissed Capricorn.

Capricorn blushed. "Sagittarius I didn't know you felt that way."

"You're always looking out for me. I kind of grew to like you."

"I'm glad you did that." Capricorn returned her kiss. Then they were both blushing. "I... think I've liked you all this time."

"I'm in the mood for some of that cake we bought today. You?" asked Sagittarius. 

"Yeah! Let's go try some."

Virgo was participating in Aries and Gemini's challenges. So far they were all tied. Then she noticed Sagittarius and Capricorn climbing down from a tree house. They were holding hands and blushing... Virgo and Capricorn weren't officially dating but seeing him with another girl still sunk her heart.

"Virgo wanna do this next challenge with us?" asked Aries.

"I'll sit out this time." Virgo sat at the edge of the pool while Aries and Gemini got on the diving boards. Aries did a kart-wheel off the diving board.

"BORING!" screamed Gemini. Aries climbed back up. Then Gemini did a side flip. Then Aries did a front flip. The Gemini did a back flip. Virgo stopped watching after a while. She tried to enjoy the rest of her night, but she couldn't stop thinking about Capricorn. Little by little her heart broke more and more.

They're holding hands. Maybe they're just friends? Capricorn has always looked out for Sagittarius, but he acts like an older brother or something. Is it possible that he likes her?

Virgo always found solidarity with Capricorn. In a house where people were always screaming and fighting, he was always there to help maintain some control.

Virgo enjoyed the chaotic friend group she had, but sometimes she wished the world could just... sit still for a while. She needed her time to be alone and isolate herself from the others sometimes. Capricorn was the only person who understood this. She started to like him, and always thought they'd eventually start dating.

Virgo watched as Capricorn handed Sagittarius a piece of cake.

Sagittarius smiled and wiped icing off with her finger, smearing it on Capricorn's face. After wiping each other with icing, Virgo gasped as Sagittarius and Capricorn kissed.

And with that kiss, Virgo felt sick to her stomach.
