Partys. A love hate relationship with Aries.
On one hand she got to have fun and not have a care in the world.
But on the other she had to be around sweaty annoying people she didn't know.
However she was still going to Leo's party, it's the biggest talk of the school. Missing it would be a disaster.
Aries was casually swatting threw the millions of texts she had got from Taurus about how excited she was.
"Aries" her step mother, Izzy, called from downstairs.
"Yes" she shouted back, hanging her head round the door.
Aries has always had a weird relationship with her step mum. Ever since her mum died her life has always been a bit clouded, and unfortunately Izzy didn't clear it.
They tried to get on of course, it would be hard to be in same house if they didn't like each other. But Aries thought they were just too different of people.
"When are you going to that party of yours" Izzy replied as Aries hopped down the stairs.
"In an hour or so" She answered. Aries crashed down on the sofa right on top of her step-sister Anna.
"OW, GET OFF YOU WEIGH LIKE A HUNDRED TONS." Her sister yelled from under her.
"What was that, I couldn't quite hear you" Aries laughed while snatching Annas phone of her.
"Aries, come on get off her" Aries Dad laughed walking into the room.
Aries also didn't get along with her dad very well, he always says how she probably got all her genes from her mom and not him, she couldn't say she disagrees.
Aries climbed off her fuming sister as she kissed her dad hello.
"Aren't you supposed to be getting ready" Her dad inquired, setting his computer on the table.
"I will, it doesn't start for a while, so I have time" Aries answered grabbing some toast before heading back upstairs.
As she headed upstairs she looked back at her dad, Izzy and Anna all laughing together.
Seeing them gave her mixed emotions, it was good to see her dad happy and have laughter in the house, but at the same time she sometimes thought it would just be easier if she wasn't in this family.
She wondering if they ever felt that as well.
Aries told herself how ridiculous that was, but the thought still lingered in her head.
As Aries strode back into her bedroom her phone started buzzing like crazy. 'Probably Taurus again' she thought.
Aries picked up the phone and quickly answered it. "Taurus for the last time I'm not wearing your new dress, I have my own." Aries waited for an answer, but no-one spoke back.
"Taurus you there" again no reply. Aries came to the conclusion that she had been pocket dialed and put her phone back on the counter.
Finally she went to her wardrobe to choose what to wear.
Even though she was a bit of a Tom boy, she had a guilty pleaser for dresses, which her dads credit card knew all too well.
Most of the clothes in her wardrobe were pink or yellow, which made her look a bit like a child. But Aries didn't care.
She picked out a light pink short dress, Aries felt it wasn't too fancy for a party but enough to turn heads.
Which is exactly the feel she was going for.
Because of her terrible time keeping skills Aries realised she didn't really have enough time to do her make-up, on top of doing her hair. But after consideration it didn't matter for her, i mean f*** the patriarchy anyway right, she knew she shouldn't need it anyway.
"ARIES GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE" a smile crept up on her face, that obnoxious yelling would probably be Taurus.
Aries has known Taurus since middle school, which might not be as long as some people knew each other, but it was a long time for Aries.
Taurus was nicer and much more positive then Aries, but that also for her into a lot of trouble because of how naive she was, however that's were Aries came in, beating up or shouting at anyone who dares cross her friends.
Her dad popped his head round her door "Aries honey I think you're friend is here"
As if on cue another shout echoed from downstairs "ARIES IF WE ARE LATE I WILL LITERALLY CRY"
Aries laughed to herself before shouting "Okay, okay Im coming." She hurried downstairs towards her brunette friend.
"Alright let's go, goodbye Mark, lovely to see you again" Taurus said waving to Aries father as they headed out the door.
"You definitely need to stop being so friendly with him, its weird" Aries loved her friend, but her attitude towards some people was very questionable.
"It's called being polite Aries you should try it sometime" The girls laughed as they drove away towards the party. "Do you think Cancer is going to be there?!" Taurus asked excitedly.
"Gingy? I don't understand why you like him, he so nerdy"Aries wasn't judging or anything but she definitely also questioned her fiends taste in relationships, I mean the last one was literally a girl who though it would be funny if she shaved of her eyebrows for a YouTube video"
Taurus crossed her arms as she glared at her "Aires!" She scolded "I don't care if he's 'nerdy', I think he's cute, and don't act like you're not interest in any nerdy boys either"
Oh how Aires despised her sometimes "I have no idea what you're talking about" she faked.
"Oh really *cough* Gemini *cough*"
"Okay, okay, you know sometimes you're really mean" Taurus just shrugged her shoulders in response and went back to scrolling through all the picks of the ongoing party they were about to arrive at.
Aries did have to be honest she did kind of like Gemini, and by that she meant just less then everyone else, he was one of the only people who didn't piss her off. He was also quite sweet, and sometimes handsome. Aries shook her head, no she was an independent women, she didn't need any man, definitely not any scrawny water boy. Although that wouldn't stop her later on from seeking him out at the party.
"Did you see Cancer at the science fair last weekend, he was soooo fit, I almost died" Taurus fawned.
"You are the only person I know who finds science talk attractive, you didn't even listen to it"
"I didn't need to, he was talking to me with his eyes"
"Omg, could you hold on to your pants just a little longer we're almost there" She said as they turned the corner towards the loud music emanating from the large house.
Both the girls hopped out the car and speed walked into the house, crowed with sweaty teenagers, most of them drunk. Aries clung to Taurus, she did not want to get lost in this messy place.
"WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN TONIGHT" Taurus screamed into her ear. Aries was convinced she was half deaf after that.
"Yes I know" she replied laughing, trying to speak over the loud music.
Out of no-where the music videos turned down, and Capricorn stood ok the table with a cup of something in his hand.
"Hello Celeste High students, tonight is the night to get WASTED" the crowd of kids cheered and whooped at him, Aries rolled her eyes, of course Capricorn would try to be the centre of attention.
"First we need to thank our generous host LEO" everyone clapped as Capricorn gestured to a smiling Leo, although he looked a little preoccupied, as if he was looking for something, or maybe someone.
Although you wouldn't know it, Aires and Leo dated when they started high school, and although it would be a stretch to say they were in love, thinking about still sometimes hurt her, but she was glad they had both moved on. And he definitely looked like he was waiting for someone.
Which reminded Aries that she should probably find Gemini to make some idle conversation, because she knew he didn't like partied too much. Not that she had been stalking him to anything, just that it was common knowledge among students.
"Alright you crazy kids" Sagittarius shouted getting up behind Capricorn, Aquarius under his arm. "LETS PARTY"
Anonymous POV
"Yes sir there all here" they mumbled through the phone, "of course sir I'll be right on it"
Chaos was about to unleash, these kids would never see it coming.
