ALTERNATIVE ENDING

I stumbled my way back to the prison, tripping over wood trunks and small animals who were scavenging for food at night.
Yea yeah I know, it's a bad idea to go to the prison at night. But I HAD to go!
I ran up to the prison gates and took out the key Pisces gave me, fiddling with it.
The clinging sounds probably woke up Scorpio, who was protecting ViVi and sleeping with her, rocking her and singing quietly a song I didn't know.
I must ask him to sing it to me one day!
Scorpio made eye contact with me and gave me a mini glare as he mouthed the words 'Go home! You'll get hurt!'.
I glared back at him and mouthed the words 'STUPIDDDD (Or Baka)! I'm saving you!!!'
I finally opened the gate, but the door was fairly small, enough for the younger prisoners. ViVi woke up and looked at the opening with wide eyes of amazement.
Freedom.

All the younger kids woke up and ran through the small door, cheering for freedom when they finally got. I put a finger to my lips trying to tell them to quiet down as the noise slowly died down.
As the last prisoner came out, who was Scorpio, I pointed to my house and signalled all the kids to go to my house for safety. All the kids slowly tip-toed to my house, trying to stay as quiet as they can. The guards thankfully were on the other end of the prison so they couldn't see the great escape.
I sighed happily. Finally my mission is complete.
I started wondering what exactly was my mission... To save Scorpio? But why him..?
I knew Pisces would be happy with me. But on the other hand how can an animal feel anything towards humans other than hatred? We destroyed their homes.
ViVi was slower than the others as her leg was wounded, probably from a bomb.
She struggled along as the other kids ran on ahead.
Just as all the kids arrived at my house, ViVi tripped on a trash can that I was too lazy to collect. The trash can smashed the ground and created a explosive sound that rang across the neighbourhood. All the kids instantly became quiet.
Footsteps.... Someone is coming!!!!

I ran to the door and searched for the keys to my house.
I must have dropped it on my way back!! SO STUPID AND CARELESS!
I smashed the door with a push kick and swore quietly under my breathe, hopefully the kids didn't see me.... I'm seriously a bad example to follow.
All the kids scrambled inside, pushing and hitting each other to get upstairs. They probably think that the upstairs is most likely the safest place right now..., but nowhere is safe. Safety doesn't exist in a world of death.

Just as we all thought it was safe, we heard noises coming from below us... Metal clinging and solders running.
How did they get in?
I cursed again, STUPID. I smashed the door apart. They pretty much WALKED in.
Scorpio looked at me concerned.., wether that concerned look was because of fear or my stupidity I'm not sure. All I know is.... They are coming. And all I can do now is hide...

The solders raided my house, stopped by my refrigerator and stole all my chocolate gummy bears, then stormed upstairs with their mouths filled with chocolate gummy bears..., and holding up guns (half of the solders held their guns backwards.... Should I warn them?).... And trust me it's a LOT scarier in real life then I've described it!
I screamed in anger, "HEY MY CHOCOLATE GUMMY BEA-"
Scorpio facepalmed himself and put his hand over my mouth. I looked at him weirdly then licked his hand. He made a small shriek then glared at me, "What's wrong with you?! Have you gone insane?!" Scorpio hissed.
I looked him in the eye and realized the horrible mistake I made. Solders swarmed the closet Scorpio and I was hiding in and rapid fired.
The room quickly became a bloody war field of dead corpses and-

Ok.... I may have exaggerated it a LITTTTTTLLLLEEEE bit.... It wasn't assssss bloody (actually it was) .... It was more like the solders stood right beside us... Rapid fired.... And 27 people fell to the ground. Remember the solders that held their guns backwards? Now I feel bad for not warning them. Well it's my life or theirs...
The other solders all missed. One solder shot his gun and freaked out..., he leaped back suddenly and crashed into another solder who jusssssst so happened to shoot as well.... Slowly the entire army fell dead in my bedroom except the commander who was still chewing on MY CHOCOLATE GUMMY BEAR!!!
"RETREAT!" The commander shouted at.. No one... "THEIR FORCES ARE TOO STRONG! ALL UNITS RETREAT BACK!"
And the commander fled.

Slowly the other hiding children all came out and started cheering on top of the dead solder corpses.... It's seriously a VERY disturbing scene....
I sighed in relief... Well... I supposed I saved them... Sorta...
Although I made many STUPID mistakes but at least I-
I stopped abruptly as I heard another series of footsteps, this time louder. The clinking sound of metal echoed through the room as the celebration ended and everyone went back into hiding....
The room that was once filled with cheers and blood became silent...

The footsteps became louder and louder as a strange unknown voices spoke,

"Commander Taurus, where exactly are the overpowered beasts?...."

"They must have run away in fear of the Aries army.."

"Hm?... Shall I have queen Aries start an investigation?"

"No sir, I don't believe that's necessary. The queen has more important things to work on."

"This community is growing too large..., the guards here are all useless and many people hide here because the solders here are pathetic. I'm going to talk with the queen about launching a bomb here.... It'll take up to a month for Aries to make another bomb though..."

"NO SIR! I mean..., I can handle this place! There's...- NO NEED FOR BOMBS!"

"Hmmmm? Really? I shall see about that. Find and capture the monster."

"AYE SIR! I mean- Yes sir!"

Commander Taurus and the other strange person left, with my HALF eaten chocolate gummy bear on the ground!

"Cancer..... You alright?...." Scorpio looked very worried.

I looked at him annoyed, ALRIGHT?!?! Do you THINK I am?!?!

Scorpio leaned in to feel my forehead, in case I went crazy because of a fever, then sighed as he sat back down.

"Cancer.... Let's go." He looked away.

"GO WHERE???" I shouted at him. He really doesn't deserve this. If things DO get better I really need to apologize to him... And thank him.... And-

"Back in time. You know.... The crystal? My grandmother said you had one... And to go look for you in case of..... You know...." Scorpio looked away again, trying to hide his weak emotions.

I looked at him funny, "YOU BELIEVE THAT NONSENSE?!?! That's just some STUPID legend that my grandpa MADE UP to help me find a BOYFRIEND when I grow up!"

I fell to my knees and started crying, for no particular reason. Maybe because I'm seriously going mental. I really need to calm down and return to my old quiet self.
Maybe that saying "People reveal their true selves only in real danger" might be true... In that case my true self is terrifying.

"I'm sorry..." I said between sniffs, and Scorpio stood up and stuck out his hand.

"Wanna give that 'stupid legend' a try?"

I woke up in the middle of the night, on the swings with Scorpio gently pushing me from behind. When he realized I woke up he grinned and... KICKED ME OFF?!?!

"OWWWWWW!!!" I screamed, "WHAT THE DUCK WAS THAT FORRRR?!?!"

Scorpio laughed, "For breaking my arm? You do know you were clutching onto my arm the entire 'time travel' thing? My arm is NUMBED!"

I was just about to scream again when some random ran out his house in a bath towel and shushed us. Then he realized he wasn't exactly covered up and ran back inside.

I finally got a chance to look around this strange community, the strange flowers growing and a VERY deformed tree growing around this idiots house-
OH WAIT THATS MY HOUSE!
AND THE SACRED TREE MY GRANDPA ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT!

I looked at Scorpio and he shrugged, like it was no big deal.

BUT DUDEEEEEEEEE!!! WE JUST WENT BACK IN TIME! LIKE THAT EPISODE IN DOCTOR WHO WHERE THIS GUY CALLED YUMA USED JIRACHI TO GO BACK IN TIME IN THE DIGITAL WORLD WHERE THEY MET THIS BEYBLADE CALLED PEGASUS! HOLYYYYYYYYYYYYY-

Scorpio slapped me, "We don't have forever.... We really need to stop Aries before-"

"Why Aries?!?! Since when was she part of this?!?!"

"Remember the conversation of the commanders and how they were talking about Aries-"

I looked at him shocked. He shrugged again like usual.

"You're saying.... My BFF Aries..... Is part of this murderous group trying to take over-"

"Yes. And I think we should go now. It's currently 12:37 and if I'm not mistaken, Aries' parents return goes to sleep at 11:50 so we should be fine...."

"You creepy stalker. How do you know?!"

"Cause you were asleep for 2 days and I did some investigation..."

"STILL A CREEPY STALKER!"

Scorpio looked as if he was completely done with me, and he was gonna find Aries alone. And I looked like some crazy drunk weirdo that just came out of a bar.

Scorpio sighed and gave up, "If you don't want to go, I'll go alone. I figured you didn't want to see me kill Aries... I'm cool with that."

Huh? Kill Aries? Would I actually let Scorpio kill my best friend in order to save the world? I mean, would anyone let their best friend die....?

"Scorpio wait-"

Scorpio already left, ran into Aries' backyard, smashed the window then climbed inside. I watched in horror as my crush kills my best friend.
This is NOT how I wanted things to turn out.

I quickly turned around just as a loud terrifying scream echoed through the neighbourhood and Scorpio dashed outside.

"GO! Run Cancer! RUN!" Scorpio yelled at me.

What did I do?!?! I didn't murder Aries! Why should I RUN?!
But I did so anyways.

Scorpio guided me to a cliff, where there was a beautiful sunrise.
At first I was confused. What da heck did he have in mind when he took me here?
That's when Scorpio looked at me and I knew what we had to do.

"Two cannot co-exist in the same world" we said together, quoting from our grandparents. We looked each other in the eye and smiled. For no reason.
Just because that may be the last time we ever get to smile.......
