Chapter 80: The Seal of a Demonic Dragon

I must reach the Peak of Placidus as fast as I can... Tamie pranced through cliffs and forests with her Air Tiger spirit unleashed at Ring Three (she didn't require to unlock more rings as she used her spirit merely for transportation now, thus, she would also preserve her strength for later battle when she rejoined her friends as she had promised Nick). I must fulfill Byakuya's wish and then directly go to New World Order building where my friends will have already arrived by then... She could already see the giant mountain ahead - the Peak of Placidus, with the Zodiac Palace and the Zodiac Stadium buildings on its top. She approached the mountain and began climbing it, eyeing it carefully - there somewhere, before she would reach the top, she had to come across a hidden cavern... Suddenly, she spotted a strange purple light flicker near some large rocks. The lights just like back then! She remembered how Byakuya had vanished in similar purple lights before. This has to be it...

"Libra Style, Writer Art, Summoner Mode - White Zen Shot!" she directed her White Zen energy blast towards the rocks, broke through them, and opened the entrance into the secret cavern, just as she anticipated. She made her White Tiger spirit disappear and entered the cave, carefully looking around if there was anything lurking in the shadows. However, she reached the end of the cave without any unpleasant disturbances. She sighed with relief, but then, she blinked in shock as she finally grasped the meaning of Byakuya's words 'Blast the Cube', for she could indeed spot a giant golden cube before her, surrounded by five golden pillars forming a pentagram around it, and five golden energy ropes coming out of these pillars were holding the cube. "W... What is this?" she fearfully approached the strange cube. She spotted some inscriptions on it. She curiously ran through the lines:

"Here be sealed the Dragon of the Sun".

"The Dragon of the Sun? What does this mean? Could it be... Byakuya wanted to save some dragon the authorities have imprisoned? Come to think of it, the previous Uranus Celestial Lord, Marvin Wagner, was indeed a big enemy to dragons. Authorities are not good with those fierce creatures. So maybe... as Byakuya was a kind man," tears came to her eyes as she recalled her late friend, "he would surely want to save his spirit kin... I shall fulfill his wish!"

"If you want to unlock this seal, you will have to use the ultimate Libra Style power".

Tamie started and immediately took a battle stance:

"Who's there?"

"Do not worry. I am not your enemy," a middle-sized, long-blue-haired, brown-eyed girl walked out of the shadows, looking so like her. "I am rather your ally, for I too wish to unleash the Dragon of the Sun".

Tamie gasped - how come this girl looked so identical to her? What the heck was going on?!

"W... Who are you?"

"My name is Yamamoto Debbie. I am a good friend of Byakuya von Drachen..."

Tamie widened eyes - a friend of Byakuya?! Could it be..?

"Byakuya is gone... I came here to fulfill his final wish".

"I know. To unlock this seal was the common wish of ours. However, only the Libra can unlock it, as Libra Bearers were the ones who sealed it".

Tamie got shocked - Libra Bearers?!

"So, don't tell me... it is the same seal as Erik von Drachen's?!"

Bearers would never seal something for no reason. What if... What if that dragon in there was dangerous? But then, why did Byakuya want to unseal it, and who was this girl that claimed to be his friend?

"I understand what you think... but Bearers at that time took orders from the Zodiac Council, who had the interest to seal powerful dragons. After all, Marvin Wagner was once a Council member too".

Tamie got dreaded - such Dragon Massacrers could be Zodiac Council members too?! Then it was no wonder anymore why this dragon got sealed...

"How can I unlock the seal?"

A faint smile flickered on Debbie's face. She approached Tamie and in all of a sudden, entered her conscience!

"Ah!" Tamie yelled in pain as she was being invaded by the strange girl. She fell to her knees and grabbed her head, shrilling in pain as it hurt severely. She could feel she was going numb. "W... What's going on?!" How come this girl had entered her mind, unless she was... a ghost, like that Jan von Drachen before? But no, she faintly saw, as if in a dream, the clashes between this said girl, Debbie, and her own muse, Kokujin! She could hear Kokujin's enraged cries of 'Go away' and 'Leave my world'. Can't be... Is she a muse too?!

Kokujin emerged out of the scroll and fell to the ground, severely injured. He widened eyes in stress once he saw his mistress, Tamie, in such agonic pain.

"Tamie! No!" he wanted to go back to her conscience, but to his complete stupor and rage, the path to Tamie's dream world was sealed. "Ugh, no! Let her go, you traitor!"

However, he soon collapsed, as he was already too exhausted from fighting against such a powerful muse as Debbie was. Tamie's mouth let out a deep womanly laugh of Debbie. Tamie stood up against her will, still groaning and fighting to regain her senses over her body, but she failed. The intruder muse inside her controlled her movements. She wove special signs, aiming towards the golden cube, and made Tamie pronounce the powerful incantation which her body could barely withstand:

"Libra Style, Zodiac Art..."

Kokujin gasped in dread - Zodiac Art?! No! That demoness wasn't going to...

"Bearer..."

"No!" Kokujin yelled - Tamie was not ready for the Bearer spell, she had not even unlocked Bearer powers! She would not withstand such pressure of energy. "No! Stop!"

"Bearer," Debbie continued, grinning with Tamie's lips, "of the Soul!"

Kokujin's heart almost choked - Bearer of the Soul?! But yeah, Tamie was a Summoner rank of Writer Class and she possessed a muse, so if she ever awakened her Bearer powers, it would most likely be the Bearer of the Soul... But who cared about that?! She was not ready. She was not a true Bearer!

"Tamie! No!"

"Divine Scales Summoning!"

Immense White Zen energy embraced Tamie and pressed upon her, making her summon the giant Scales - the guardian of the Libra sign.

"No! Goddess!"

"Judgment!" Debbie yelled through Tamie's feeble body. She got embraced by even more White Zen energy, undergoing large pressure, and a giant golden ray formed, blasting the cube at full force. Blood gushed off Tamie's chest.

"Tamie!!!" Kokujin bellowed in horror, but then, began fading and vanished in Blue Fire, his mistress having used up all of her energy and getting pressed to use up even more than she held.

With such a tremendous blast, the cube cracked and opened up. Debbie laughed with triumph, rushed out of weakened and barely conscious Tamie's body, dashed at the cube and entered a glittering sword that lay inside it.

Once Tamie coughed out blood and weakly looked up at the cube to see what she had unlocked against her will, she shuddered in complete horror - it was a thirty-year-old man who had come out of the cube and held that same sword Debbie had just merged with. He was over two metres tall, with a strong, muscled bare body, wearing only black silken trousers and torn black tunic that covered his feet. His black hair was long and dropped on his back and shoulders, and his head was adorned with a crown-like headgear... But the most horrendous was not that unusual appearance of his, but those familiar dark blue eyes which so unfamiliarly sparkled with a cold, triumphant smile...

It was Byakuya.
