Chapter 7
"Seriously Keef that was awes-," I stopped and coughed, "Um, well, um, yes that was, rather impressive. Zim wishes you would have done it sooner though." Keef didn't look at me, he just stared at the window at Tak as Dib walked to her and helped her out of the trash.
"I wonder what he sees in her..." Keef mumbled to himself. I laughed at that and walked to him. He glanced at me then looked back out the window. I put my hand on his shoulder as I looked outside at them as well.
"You and I both." Keef looked at me and smiled. Before I could smile back, Keef had already rapped his arms around me and pulled me into an extremely tight hug. After about a minute, he let go and I brushed myself off.
Keef looked back out the window and made a disgusted face. Tak was on her toes trying to kiss Dib, what a shocker. Dib then did something I didn't expect him to; he held a hand in front of his mouth so Tak couldn't get to his lips. He then grabbed her arm and started pulling her with him as he walked away.
"Zim wonders what that was all about.." I said quietly, looking at Keef.
"I want her to die." He suddenly blurted out. His words shocked me so much I literally started choking on air. "Woah are you okay?" Keef asked while closing the curtains.
"Yes." I said when I managed to start breathing again. "Zim is fine, Zim just didn't expect you to say that. Zim agrees with you though." Keef smiled.
"You really need to stop speaking in third person, Zim." I glared at him but before I could protest the doorbell rung. I expected Keef to get the door but then remembered that he was just a ghost and couldn't do that. I walked to the door and opened it.
A girl slightly taller than me with purple hair pushed past me and walked into the house. She shut the door behind her and stared at me. It was the Gaz-human, wait, what? "Alright so , first of all, he has a few things wrong with his brain and I would advise against doing something that would make him depressed." She started talking but Keef and I just stared at her in confusion.
"What are you talking about, Gaz-human?" She punched the bridge of her nose and shook her head. Gaz then looked up and started speaking again.
"I'm talking about Dib you idiot." I instantly, and accidentally looked more interested. "He has schizophrenia as well so if he's acting strange or whatever that could be why. I'm also pretty sure he enjoys pain or something? I don't know, he's weird. But that may be why he doesn't completely hate you." I smiled wide when she said that.
Gaz's pupils suddenly got small as she grabbed my shirt and yanked me to her. The stare she was giving me was almost enough to make me start shaking. "But if you ever do anything bad to him, I will not hesitate to kill you. Do you understand that Zim?" Her voice was even scarier, and all I could do was whimper as a response. "Good." She let go of me and left without saying anything else. Keef and I looked at each other.
"Well that was certainly interesting." Keef said, breaking the silence. I nodded in agreement. "We should do something. Like. Like watch a movie or something. Oh! Oh I know!! Let's watch Star Wars!!!"
"Why would Zim want to watch a movie about stars fighting each other..?" Keef shook his head and floated slightly off his feet over to the door.
"No, Zim that's not what it's about. Trust me it's really cool!!" He put his hand on the doorknob as he talked. "I have it on DVD at my house," he stopped for a few seconds, possibly wondering if I had the technology to play the movie (which of course I do.) "I'm gonna go get it, I'll be back soon."
"Alright, I'll just uh.." I looked around for something to occupy myself, to no avail, and decided to sit on the couch. "Sit here." Keef smiled and nodded.
"Okie dokie buddy!" He flung the door open. "See you soon!!" Within seconds Keef was gone and the door was shut. I was alone. Again.
I turned to see Gir was now sitting on the couch looking at me. "I WANNA SEE STAR WARS TOO!!!!!!" He screeched.
"Alright Gir." I said and walked to the kitchen. Recently I had installed an elevator that went down to my base so I didn't have to step into a toilet every time I wanted to go down there. The elevator ride took longer though. So when I step in and it goes down I always have time to think. Or just stand still and stare into space. This time, the thing occupying my mind was the Dib-human.
'I wonder what he's doing with Tak right now.' I thought. The elevator got to the bottom and the door opened. I didn't move. I just stood there. "Why..." I spoke aloud, to myself. "Why did... Why did he choose her..." I held my head low and started to walk out of the elevator when I heard something I really didn't expect.
"Why did who choose who?" My blood ran cold and I froze. Dib's voice echoed through the base. 'Where is he why is he here Zim thought he was with Tak what happened why is he here where is he' thoughts raced through my head and I scanned the area.
"Where are you Dib?" I mumbled to myself, not expecting a response.
"I assume this is your bedroom..?" My face reddened and my knees felt weak. 'The boy who Zim has helplessly fallen in love with is in Zim's bedroom right now.' I thought and walked shakily to my bedroom.
Sure enough, Dib was there, laying sideways on the squishy 'fabric' that was my bed. He was attempting to solve what the humans referred to as a 'roobics cube.' After a quick glance at me he continued to try to solve the object.
I just kinda stood there for a few minutes before sitting on my bed and poking him. "What are you doing here Dib-human?" The tall boy didn't respond right away, he was just so distracted by the cube that he had to finish solving it. When he did though, he tossed it into the floor and sat it up to look at me.
"I came here to see you." Dib spoke as if this wasn't something that made my PAK spark ever so slightly.
"wOAH GARCIE THAT WAS A LONG CHAPTER"
I KNOW RIGHT
And yeah this chapter doesn't have a name because I couldn't come up with one. Sorry.
