karan and sanju were handling a very important case of murder and hence remained quite caught up in work since past few days ...they had to even work on the last day of the year till very late in the night ,when the whole world was celebrating and partying the last day of the year there stood karan and sanju were joining dots and clues ,turning pages of file trying to figure out things ,studying every minutest detail closely several times to check just in case they missed any point or not and along them stood their whole team working ....yeah some of them missed partying and spending time along their family but this was what they had chose for themselves .....SERVICE BEFORE SELF is what they live by ....anyways they returned home late that night it was half past 2 ...sanju and karan knew that faizi would be very mad at them...faizi had planned a movies night with them and even declared that he would cook food that night ....karan opened the main door with spare key and entered inside followed by sanju .....he saw faizi asleep with his head down on the dinning table itself and then sanju's glance fell on the 3 plates kept as it is on the table which meant faizi hadn't eaten .....she checked the serving bowls and confirmed that faizi hadn't eaten....television was on with screen set on the movie they were going to watch .....sanju and karan felt bad for faizi ....they recalled how excited faizi was for this movie night and how he kept calling karan and sanju and kept updating them about which movie he had decided they would watch, how he had started preparation of dinner and how he had planned to cook karan's favourite manchurian and mushroom noodles along with sanju's favourite brownie cake for dinner ....

karan tried waking faizi up, he shook faizi few times but unaffected by all this was there faizi asleep ,sometime struck karan's mind and he took a glass of water and threw it on faizi

aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh ,screamed faizi and stood up from his seat

haad ha karan ,ek toh tum dono late aaye humare movies night ke plan ko bhi cancel kar diya ,phone bhi switch off karke rakha tha aur ab humpe paani phek diya ,said faizi wiping his face with towel

sorry na yaar late hogaye case ke chakar mei ,aur meeting mei the isiliye phone switched off tha ,said karan in his defence

tum dono ka haar baar ka ha ye ....humne kitne pyar se kahna banaya tha ,said faizi turning his face to the other side

karan looked towards sanju ,indicating her that it was her chance to pacify faizi

faizi bhai sorry na ...pakka next time se esa kuch nahi hoga ....promise, said sanju turning faizi's face towards her .....she held her ears and signaled karan to do the same

sorry na yaar ab chal maan bhi jaa ,said karan holding his ears

ab sorry bol ke kya fayda pura plan bigaad gaya na ...khana bhi thanda ho chuka ha kabka ,said faizi showing his disappointment

actually plan bigda nahi ha faizi bhai ,said sanju with sudden excitement her voice

matlab ? asked faizi

iska matlab ye ki ab hum ab bhi movie dekh sakte ha ,said karan making faizi sit on the couch and he sat beside him

aur khane ka kya ha ...abhi microwave mei garam kar lete ha ,said sanju sitting beside faizi

par tum dono ko wahi movie dekhni hogi joh humne select kiya ha that too without complaining ,said faizi with excitement in his voice

ha thik ha chal, said karan

tum dono change karlo hum khana garam kar dete ha tab tak ,said faizi as he proceed towards dinning table

karan and sanju smiled at antics of faizi ....this is how he was ,it took faizi seconds to be mad at anyone but it also took few moments to pasify faizi ,faizi could not stay mad at anyone for long

in sometime karan was sitting in the couch, sanju was helping faizi get the food to center table and then the enjoyed their dinner while watching the movie

koel got free early from work that day ,then she called monami ,who said that she would be free in about half an hour, so koel went to monami picked her from hospital and left for film city picked sid from there drove back home .....it was last day of the year but sid was busy shooting for promotional events of his upcoming movie and monami too had 3 surgeries lined up through out the afternoon and much of evening and hence koel, monami and sid could not plan anything much of how will they celebrate the last day of the year.....sid was tired of shooting for the promotional events his upcoming movie though he had got many invitations for parties and events of new years party but he had denied all ,he had hectic schedule since past few days and hence was all drained out ,he wanted to spend to last few hours of the year with his two best friends ....... monami too was drained due to her hectic hospital duties.... and hence all the three had agreed to spent the last night of the year in their home only with no much celebration just three of them enjoying themselves .....koel had already ordered food from their favourite restaurant ....they had lovely time eating their favourite dishes while recalling funny incidences of their school time how sid would always forget polishing his shoes and hence would wipe them with wet tissues before assemblies, how they would collect in koel's house for group study before exams and how they would do everything on earth except for studying, how sid would make monami complete his project ...monami recalled how they met for the very first time in class 6 ,their class teacher had teamed monami, sid and koel for history group project and that's how they met ...how they had decided to meet at sid's house and that day was beginning of this wonderful friendship ,she nodded her head recalling sid and koel's fight on the very first day, she giggled recalling how koel and sid used to fight over every other thing and how sid was busy playing air cricket, in case you guys are wondering what's air cricket well it meant that sid was randomly hitting his bat in air and koel and monami were busy doing the project, koel had just scolded sid for spoiling their mountain model and asked him to stay away from the model ..and hence for passing his time sid was hitting his hitting his bat randomly in air ...all was going good until the bat slipped sid's hand and landed right on their mountain model which monami and koel were painting and hence breaking it completing and besides that the dirty water in which koel and monami had used for painting splashed on monami and the brown paint splashed on koel's face and dress ....and how seeing sid rolling on floor while laughing koel threw red paint on sid and now sid and koel were playing "BIN MAUSUM HOLI" and that too with water paints....they had to then intervene by sid's mom ,and how koel had called sid a 34 times the evening before submission date of project and sent almost 26 messages sid to not forget to bring the project and guess what sid woke up late that morning and ended up forgetting to bring the project ,koel scolded sid for being so careless ,luckily sid's dad realized that sid had forget the project and came to school to give it to them but when it was monami, sid and koel's turn to present their project ....monami started her speech and she had to stop as sid and koel had started arguing over who would hold the project and who will hold the chart and kept pulling the project from two sides until sid hit the table and the water bottle kept on the table fell on the their class teacher resulting that their class teacher was all drenched and how once in class 9 their bio teacher had taken them to bio lab and asked them to sit quitely as she will just comeback in 10 minutes ...monami was busy adoring bio lab ,and koel was completing her biology notes ,sid and his friend were playing catch catch with eraser ....everything was going fine until eraser hit koel thrice and she threw her pencil pouch on sid...sid dodged and the penicil pouch hit the glass container in which human skeleton and it fell on the lab assistant who was sitting nearby who didn't saw this coming as she was busy doing her work, how sid would always eat koel's tiffin before lunch break and when she opened her tiffin in lunch break she used find it half eaten then she would run after him the rest of the lunch break, monami chuckled recalling these memories and saw sid and koel fighting over bite of blueberry cheese cake ....somethings in life never change thought monami to herself as she ate the last bite of the cheesecake ......... koel and sid stopped fighting and kept looking at monami before resuming their fight over whose fault it was that they lost their last bite of cheese cake and champagne just unaffected by all this stood their playing with his ball ..trying to hold it his mouth but it was way big to fit in his mouth but champagne still kept trying ....and then all the three decided to for a late night long drive along with champagne

premji celebrated last night of the year by re-watching episodes of his serial "MAA KE POOUT"

sumanji and rajeshji welcomed new year by watching some random hindi serial channel award show

chitra welcomed her new year by clicking dozens of selfies and spending a hour selecting the apt picture to post ,and when picture was selected she spent next 10 minutes selecting the caption and hashtags for her new year post

bala celebrated the last night of the year at a club and danced his heart out ,he had a gala time ...but same can't be said for the people dancing next to him, as he stamped their feet many times, hit their face and even almost punched few

we all have our own ways to celebrate ....don't we
