Zayn's Pov:

I'm inlove with Niall. I think deep inside of me I've always known I love him, He's my first and only love, I've never been this way with anybody before. I never wanted to admit to anybody how I felt about Niall, To me he's this perfect person who deserves the whole world, He deserves somebody who'll protect and love him, Who won't bring danger into his life, I'm not that person, I can't be that person, I've always known that so I guess I've always just pushed how I felt aside. I never thought it'd get to the point where I couldn't keep my feelings hidden anymore, I never thought I'd lose him, I thought he'd always be here and if there was trouble, I just, I guess deep inside I thought I'd always get there in time to save him. I've come to learn I'm not superman, I'm not invincible but I'll do whatever I can to save Niall, I'm the one this guy wants and if giving my life for Niall keeps him safe that's what I'm gonna do. 

The last time I spoke to Maura our conversation didn't go the way I wanted it to. Right now she's the closest thing I have to Niall, To hear her say those things, To know she blames me, It hurts me deep inside but I know it's because she's upset. Maura and I have something that's always gonna hold us together, That one things Niall. I took a deep breath as I pressed call on Maura's number, I held the phone against my ear and waited for her to answer, The phone rang and rang but there was no answer, A sigh fell from my lips as the call went to voicemail. 

"Maura it's Zayn, Look please listen to this message, Don't hang up don't delete it, Just please listen. I know right now your angry, Your angry at me and I understand that, I'm angry at myself, I hate myself for what I've done for what I've put the two of you through. You told me Niall's life would've been better if he'd never knew me, You saying that hurt but it was the truth and I know that, I know I'm nothing but trouble, I know I'm the reason Niall's missing" I took a deep breath. "But I also know Niall's one of the best things to happen to me, He's one of the best things in my life. I know you want me to call the police and believe me if I could I would, But the police can't do anything I'm the only one who can stop this and I know that, This guy wants me and I'm gonna give myself to him, I'm gonna exchange my life for Niall's" I exclaimed, Tears were falling from my eyes. "I'm sorry for all the pain I've put you through, I'm gonna make it right, I promise, I hope one day you can forgive me, I hope one day you'll hear my name and not feel anger. We don't have alot in common Maura, But the one common thing we share is we both love Niall and we'll both do anything for him. I know I'm not the person you want for him, But I'm inlove with your son Maura, I have been since the first moment I saw him and I promise I'll bring him home to you, Just make me one promise? Promise me you'll look after him, Promise me you'll let him listen to this message, Promise me you'll tell him I love him and I want him to be happy" I couldn't stand it anymore, I quickly hung up the phone and burst into tears.

"Did you send the message out?" I asked as I walked into my study later that day, All the boys nodded.

"Were guessing whoever has him would've heard about it by now" Liam said.

"All we can do is wait" Louis added, I nodded my head before sitting down. 

"Zayn you don't have to do this, When we hear from him we can make up a plan, We can ambush him, Half of us can deal with him the other half can get Niall" Harry stated, I shook my head.

"No, It's to much of a risk, I'm not risking any of your lives, And I'm not risking Niall's" I replied.

"Zayn you know he wouldn't want you giving up your life, Say this all goes to perfect plan, You exchange your life for his, Niall gets let go and you die, What happens then Zayn? Niall he'll fall apart" Liam exclaimed.

"And how do you know this guys gonna agree? Even if he does what if he dosen't go through with it?" Harry asked.

"I'll do whatever it takes to get him out, I know you guys won't understand this but I-"

"Zayn! Zayn come on!" Josh stated as he ran into the room, I quickly stood up. 

"What's going on?!" I asked.

"Tony and I saw someone sticking a letter to your car, Tony's got him come on!" Josh stated, I quickly ran from the room, As I ran outside I saw Tony dragging the boy towards my frontdoor. 

"Take him in there make sure he dosen't get out" I said, Tony nodded before handing me the letter. "Cheers mate" I moved aside so Tony could drag the boy inside, I then opened up the letter. 

'He's loyal to you Zayn, I'll give you that he's loyal. He thinks the sun shines out your backside, But we both know the truth don't we Zayn? We know who and what you really are don't we Zayn? If only you could hear the plea's and screams coming from him. I think it's so sickeningly adorable how loyal he is to you, Won't hear a bad word being said about you, And your willing to give your life for his, That brought a tear to my eye it really did. Don't worry Zayn you will die, And you'll be reunited with your little friend, But it won't be on your terms, It'll be on my mine, Wait for further instructions, Sweet dreams Zayn.

P.s, here's a little something from your sweetheart.'

Blood there was blood on the letter, Anger boiled inside of me, This is a game to him, All this he finds funny! I crushed the letter up in my hand before turning around and marching straight into my home. I marched straight into my study and up to the man who was tied up in a chair, My fist collided with his face straight away.

"Who gave you the letter?!" I spat. "Don't fucking ignore me! Who the fuck gave you that letter!" I stated. 

"I don't know! I didn't know the guys name" He exclaimed.

"Likely story" Louis said.

"So your telling me your doing a job for somebody and you don't know there name? How stupid do you think I am?" I stated.

"Listen here mate that guy who gave you the letter, He's got a friend of ours, That friend is very special to us. Now how would you feel if something were to happen to your loved ones if we found out you were lying to us?" Liam asked, The mans eyes widened.

"I don't know his name, I swear!" He cried out. 

"Let me ask you something" I crouched down infront of the man. "Are you inlove with somebody? Would you do anything for that one person?" He nodded his head. "Would your world turn dark without them? Would you not know what to do if you lost them?" He nodded again. "Would your heart shatter knowing they've been hurt and you can't do a thing to help them?!" He nodded. "That boy that's been taken by your little boss, That boy is my world, And I'll do whatever it takes to find him. Your inlove so you know half the pain I'm going through. This guy is sending me sick letters the one you just delivered has blood on it, My Niall's blood!" I yelled. "I'm gonna ask you again and you better not lie to me. Who gave you this letter?!"

"I don't know, I swear I don't" I quickly stood up even more anger building inside me. "He said he'd hurt my family if I didn't do this, I don't wanna be involved in this" He cried out, Liam placed an arm on my shoulder.

"I believe him Zayn. In his wallet he's got a picture of his wife and kids" Liam informed me, He then handed me the picture.

"Let him go" I said, The boys nodded before untying him. "If I find out you've lied to me I'll hunt you and your family to the ends of the earth especially if any harm comes to Niall, And I mean any harm, If one hair is out of place on him and I find out you know something your a dead man!" I stated before walking out the room, Louis followed closely behind me.

"What did the letter say?" He asked.

"Same old shit" I walked into the bathroom. "He's playing me like a fucking doll! He put Niall's blood on the letter, He's hurting him and I can't stop it" I exclaimed as tears filled my eyes, Louis pulled me into a tight hug. 

"Let it out Zayn. You can't always be strong, Let it out" He whispered, I could feel the tears sliding down my face. 

"I just want him home Louis, I can't let him go, I can't do that. I want him here with me, I want him in my arms where he's safe, I just want him home" I chocked out before breaking down in Louis arms. I've never felt so helpless before.
