Zayn's Pov:

Last week Niall had this gut feeling that we were being followed. He had the feeling all night but only mentioned it when his worry began to show. Niall means alot to me, I'll do anything and everything to protect him. When he voiced his worries the boys went to confront the car driver, The driver drove off. The lads assured me that it was just someone after a fix. I found it hard believing them at first. When it comes to Niall they have to be a hundred percent sure. Niall's fear it washed away straight away, While mine remained. I kept Niall close to me the remainder of that night, Even after that I kept him close. It's easy for the people you care about to get sucked into what you do, To become part of the trouble you surround yourself with, But I've never allowed the people I care about access to that part of my life, And I never would. Whenever Niall's around from now on I'll be keeping a closer eye on him. If anyone goes near him it'll be the biggest mistake they've ever made. 

Today is my baby sisters birthday. I've driven back home to spend the whole day with my family. The boys and Niall will be at her birthday party along with all our families. Days like this I'm just Zayn. Today it's not about selling drugs, Collecting money or being the bad guy, It's about being with my family and making sure my sister has the best birthday. 

"Li listen I gotta help my mum set up for Saff's birthday, Can you and Lou pick up Ni? He's been having car troubles past few days" I informed him as I walked around the kitchen picking up various packs of food.

"Course mate, Listen my mum got Saff a make up kit and a dressing table you reckon it'll fit in her room?" Liam asked, I chuckled.

"Should do yeah, But tell Lou he ain't building it, Don't want a repeat of the rocking horse incident" I said.

"Hey it was a honest mistake anyone could have made it! Besides it wasn't designed for Harry's ass to sit on!" Louis yelled from the background, I laughed loudly.

"Better not say that infront of him" I joked, Liam laughed. "Mate listen I gotta get going but I'll see you later alright? And thanks again dude" I said.

"No worries mate, See you later" Liam replied before hanging up the phone, I just placed my phone back in my pocket when Saffa came bolting in the room.

"Zayn!" She stated happily, I smiled instantly.

"Hello princess" I said before quickly picking her up, She instantly wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Your home!" She exclaimed, I chuckled.

"I am a little birdy told me it's someones birthday today" Saff grinned. "Do you know who's birthday it is?" I teased.

"Mine!" She said happily while pointing at herself.

"Really? You sure?" I joked, Saff nodded quickly. Our mum then walked into the room with my two other sisters. "Well if your sure it's your birthday then you better go check my bedroom, The birdy also told me there's a little something hidden under the bed" Saff grinned and I quickly put her on the floor watching closely as she ran from the room. My mum smiled lovingly before walking up and kissing my cheek. 

"How long are you home for?" She asked.

"The whole weekend" I replied before walking out the room.

A few hours later pretty much everyone was here. Harry and Josh had turned up, All Saff's friends were here and they were playing party games happily. I kept looking from my watch to the frontdoor. Niall hadn't arrived yet and he's never late. I sighed before taking a sip of my drink.

"Mate relax he'll be here" Josh said.

"Yeah traffics probably crap" Harry added, I nodded my head before going to pull my phone from my pocket.

"Zayney, Hazza, Joshy!" Saffa exclaimed as she ran towards us, I quickly pushed my phone back into my pocket.

"Hello sweetheart" Josh said as he gave her a hug. "You like your present?" Saff nodded.

"Mine was better though wasn't it?" Harry teased, Saff giggled. "You enjoying your party little one?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, Zayn where's Li, Lou and uncle Ni?" Saffa questioned.

"There running a little late babygirl" I said, Saff sighed.

"When will they be here? Niall hasn't given me my birthday lifts" Saff said with a sad face.

"He'll be here babygirl" I assured her, Just then Josh's phone rang, He pulled it from his pocket.

"Hello? Li where are you mate? What? Alright were coming" Josh stated with worry in his eyes.

"Saff go play with your friends babe" I said, She nodded before running off, Harry and I then gave Josh the same look.

"Josh? What's up?" I questioned.

"Outside now"

"Liam what's going on? Where's Niall?" I asked as the boys and I walked outside, Niall was no where to be seen and Louis was stood by the car on the phone. Liam looked at me with sorrow filled eyes. 

"Zayn I-"

"Where is he Liam?!" I stated.

"Zayn you need to calm down" Josh said.

"Don't tell me to calm down, Where is Niall?" I spat.

"He wasn't at his flat when we got there" Liam chocked out, Louis then approached us.

"Well where is he then?" Harry asked, Louis and Liam looked down, Neither of them were answering us. I shoved past them.

"Fine don't answer I'll find out myself"  Just then Louis grabbed my arm.

"Zayn when we got there the door it was kicked in. Niall's place it was trashed" My eyes widened. "There was blood on the floor" My heart dropped as Liam spoke.

"Where's Niall?" I chocked out. "Where the fuck is he?!" I spat.

"We don't know" Louis exclaimed.

"He's gone Zayn"
