Uzume slowly closed the door to the guest room before taking a deep sigh. Never had she expected the situation to happen, especially to the likes of you.

Uzume: I don't know... But he's getting his memories back... And not in a good way...

Neptune: This clipboard makes things even more confusing! The more you flip through the pages, the older the photographs become.

Nepgear: You don't think he's... Immortal, do you?

Uzume: Hard to tell, he looks exactly the same. The pictures end up turning grey too... I don't know if any of you noticed but it looked like he was always a soldier...

Neptune: Yeah! Why do you think that's the case?

(Y/N): *groans*

The three girls looked at the door until it quickly opened as you ran through. They were surprised by the sudden action only for them to hear you stopping outside of the base to vomit. All of the girls followed to find you resting on the ground as well as a mess was spotted a few feet away.

(Y/N): *pant* This is too much for to handle... One minute, I'm just someone who was lost and the next... I'm just a crying mess... Didn't expect all of it to come back at once...

Nepgear: Is there anything I can get you?

(Y/N): Just some water.

The CPU candidate nodded before she ran inside to bring you water.

Uzume: How are you feeling?

(Y/N): Like I was hit by as truck... Nearly everything I remember is back...! Can I see that clipboard?

Neptune handed you the clipboard, which you gladly accepted before looking at the pages.

(Y/N): Whoever sent me here even remembered everything... Still... I can't even remember the moments before arriving here... Damn it!

The clipboard suddenly burned within your hands before you tossed away the ashes and rested against the wall. It was true that you were still feeling uneasy but you can feel yourself calming by the second. Even Nepgear arrived with a bottle of cold water.

Nepgear: Here.

(Y/N): Thanks.

Within seconds, you finished the entire bottle to feel yourself refreshed but continued to sit.

Neptune: So... How much do you remember? If you don't mind me asking.

(Y/N): ... Almost all of it, except when I was with that group of adventurers... But... Its just as I said... I don't even know who I am anymore... I lived under multiple names... Fought in wars even when I had a choice... I don't even know what to do anymore, I don't want to stay in this endless cycle anymore but it feels as if I can't break free...

Uzume decided to take a seat beside you and placed a hand on your shoulder to bring you closer.

Uzume: It doesn't matter what you were back then, to us you're the same (Y/N) that's just lost in another world!

Neptune: Yeah! You don't have to worry about some old situation that the author out you in! Not as long as you're with the protagonist of protagonists!

You sighed in relief as the presence of the girls easily soothed your thoughts since they made attempts to cheer you up. So, you simply removed yourself from Uzume's hold and began to stand.

(Y/N): Thanks... I really do appreciate it... I just need to go for a bit of a walk.

Half an Hour Later

Umio: Has (Y/N) returned?

Uzume: Not yet... I'm really worried about him but he looked like he just needed some time for himself.

Neptune: I'm sure he's fine! It's (Y/N), we're talking about! What kind of reader insert character would he be if he didn't come back?

Nepgear: It's just... I don't know... He seemed much better than before but...

Just as they were speaking about you, the entrance to the base opened to reveal you entering the building.

(Y/N): *sigh* That was actually a bit more refreshing...

Nepgear: Does this mean that you're-

(Y/N): Yeah... I'm doing a lot better now. I just needed a bit of time to think.

Neptune: Good! Because we have something to ask of you!

The surprise question caught you a little off guard but you were curious if the girl's question.

Neptune: We've been thinking about this ever since you tried taking on that giant buuut... Do you even have anywhere to go once we find our way back?

You've never has thoughts about your plans once everything was settled within the current world. In fact, it never crossed your mind about returning to the abandoned world since there was nothing left.

Neptune: If that's the case then why don't you come with us? We've already asked Uzume but...

Uzume: This place is my home. Sure it may be ruined but I have others to look after so I can't just up and leave everyone behind.

Just as the red head spoke, a Baby Bug landed on your shoulder as it happily squeaked from Uzume's answer.

(Y/N): Not gonna lie, the offer's quite tempting... but I don't exactly see myself fitting into your world.

Neptune: Oh come on, don't give us that! We'd love to have you around!

Nepgear: We can even help you every step of the way to get you back on your feet.

(Y/N): ... Let me think on it.

Nepgear: Of course, take all of the time you need.

You nodded from her statement before you decided to turn your attention to Uzume.

(Y/N): So... You still want to spar?

The CPU of the dimension grinned as fire began to light in her eyes from your question.

A Few Minutes Later

Uzume's POV

Uzume: I didn't think you were in the mood for a match!

(Y/N): We did make plans for this, right?

Uzume- Heh, you bet!

I slammed my fist into the palm of my hand before I popped my knuckles for a little style. Even (Y/N) began stretching his arms a little to loosen himself for the match. Even I'm not sure as to why I feel fired up for a simple sparring match but I don't want to hold back against him.

(Y/N): You ready?

Uzume: Just try and keep up!

I can see him smirking as he grabbed one of his guns from the holster and easily soon the weapon with one hand.

(Y/N) (Ancient Gunner)

I immediately take the first move and ran towards him as fast I could, only for (Y/N) to easily take a few shots at my feet. I was lucky enough to dodge them but it seems that he was playing with me since I could see him with the same grin.

Uzume: Alright... Let's see about this!

Instead of charging head first, I dashed to the side and shouted into my megaphone to create powerful sound waves that reached him from a distance. The waves were strong enough to stun (Y/N) since he was unable to see the attack.

(Y/N): Huh?!

He holstered his firearm and began to hold his head before shaking off the surprise rattling in head head. Luckily, I caught him off guard and sent a punch towards his face except...

(Y/N): That was quite the shock... But nice try!

He caught my hand right before it even connected and grabbed a hold of my arm. The whole world seemed to spin as he flipped me with one move.

Uzume: I'm not going down that easy!

Upon landing, I jumped into my feet and decided to step back only for (Y/N) to quickly follow and suddenly tripped me with his foot.

(Y/N): Come on, I have hundreds of years worth of experience. So how about we stop holding back and fight for real?

He tossed me something familiar from his hand, which I caught with ease and based upon realizing the item.

Uzume: A share crystal?!

(Y/N): Came across it when I was walking... Now... We can go all out.

I watched as three apparitions of light appeared from his body and slowly morph into humanoid shapes of energy. One of them held a sniper rifle, the second one was armed with a sword and shield and while the last one played with two kukris in it's hands.

Uzume: Woah... Wasn't expecting that! Guess it makes this more interesting! Share crystal!

After a few seconds, I changed into my HDD form and the glowing figures immediately made their move, along with (Y/N).

(Y/N): Now this is more like it!

One of the figures surprised me by jumping above me with it's blades and quickly flipped forward to create a deadly spin attack with it's weapons. I dodged the attack and easily defeated the summon with a powerful shout from my megaphone but I felt something fly past my head. Another one of (Y/N)'s summons was using it's sniper to try and shoot my down so I was forced to keeping moving in the air.

Orange Heart (Uzume): Moving around like this is making Uzume's, head spin!

(Y/N): Heads up!

I barely noticed (Y/N) being launched into the air from his summon's shield and aim his weapons towards while moving over me.

Orange Heart (Uzume):Uh oh!

He fired a bunch of rounds towards me but I blocked them at the last minute with my shield. One of the bullets bounced away from the shield and somehow hit the apparition with the sword and shield. (Y/N) noticed that his shots never worked so he maneuvered his body to deliver a strong kick. I was ready to block the kick until (Y/N) was accidentally hit from his summon's bullet, which forced the figure to disappear.

Orange Heart (Uzume): Uzume wins! Eh?!

End Music

I was caught by surprise when (Y/N) crashed into me midair, which made the both of us fall to the ground. As we fell to the ground, I felt a pair of arms grab a hold of me before I felt them pull me closer into a protective embrace. Within seconds, the both of us crash landed, except (Y/N) took most of the damage since he used his body to break the fall.

(Y/N): *groans* Wonder if he was still mad for the whole "last slice of pie" incident...

Orange Heart (Uzume): Are you okay?

(Y/N): I can walk it off... Maybe after I rest a little...

Now Exiting Uzume's POV

Even when the both of you were safe and sound, you couldn't help but keep your hold on the orange haired goddess as she grew silent.

Orange Heart (Uzume): Uzume didn't think that you would help her like this... Even when you're hurt!

(Y/N): Don't worry, he wouldn't be able to kill me even if he tried... Still hurt like hell!

Orange Heart (Uzume): (Y/N)... Could you... Let go of Uzume?

(Y/N): Huh? Oh... *Nervous laugh* Sorry.

After releasing your hold from the girl, the both of you rose from the spot and had a moment of silence. As awkward as it was for you to never realize that you were still holding onto Orange Heart, you couldn't help but enjoy the moment since the both of you were practically staring into each other's eyes.

(Y/N): Lets head back to base, feeling kind of hungry after everything that's happened.

The orange haired goddess nodded with glee before you turned away to walk towards the base. Although, Uzume had other plans since she decided to use the last bit of her share energy to quickly fly by and pick you up mid flight.

(Y/N): Woah! Hey! You're going too fast!

Orange Heart (Uzume): Or not fast enough!

You began to feel dizzy as they girl happily twirled in her flight, which sent you spinning as well. The orange haired girl was enjoying herself as she began to pick up more speed and began to fly off course in order to continue her fun.

Meanwhile, a certain light purple haired CPU watched as you were being flown around by Orange Heart.

Neptune: Hmm, wonder if I'm next since he's already spent time with Nep Jr and Uzume?
