History in the Earth

Life sucks if you have a useless power. My power allows me to absorb energy, but the catch is that I can only absorb a certain amount. Said amount is enough to power a car battery. I'm creative with it and my intelligence allowed me to create a pair of gauntlets to harness it better. I'm thankful that my parents haven't abused me in the slightest, but I feel as though I'm adopted. For context, I look NOTHING like them. My skin is brown, my back length hair is a shiny white (his hair looks like Anasui's but without a hat), and my eyes are gold. Not only that, but I'm pretty tall as I stand at 6'6. I don't look intimidating in the slightest, but everyone treats me horribly with the exception of a few of the Union students. Surprisingly, the Avengers actually enjoy my company, even the Hulk likes to be around me.

Issei: Hey loser!

Oh great, it's that idiot. I simply ignore him and walk away, not wanting to deal with this. It seems that he doesn't take too kindly to that as he struck me while I wasn't looking.

Issei: I was talking to you loser!

Y/N: Using the same insult twice, not really smart but this is you we're talking about.

Issei: Big talk coming from someone with a useless power. What's the point of absorbing energy if you have a limit!?

Y/N: Every power has a limit dumbass, even yours!

I sweep his legs unexpectedly, making him fall. This was a mistake as I didn't take one thing into consideration.

Random teacher: Mr. L/N! You get detention for harming a student unprovoked!

Timeskip
After getting out of detention, I decided to take a walk around the town as the Headmasters gave me an assignment. There's an abnormal signal coming from a forest that's a good distance away. Why they sent me I don't know. Suddenly, I get a text on my phone. Shrugging, I look at the ID and see it's from my good friend Riri Williams or Ironheart as she's called. I open the text and look at the picture she sent me.

Riri: You like me new armor?

Y/N: Amazing, It's definitely an improvement over her last armor.

I shoot her a text and sigh before putting away my phone. It doesn't matter anyway, I'm at the location that's making the signal. It's an abandoned base filled with overgrown plants and vegetation that seems to be protecting something. The odd thing is that the technology in this facility is incredibly advanced, even more so than Atlas. Most of the stuff is in fair condition too, just needs some light maintenance.

Y/N: Who owned this place?

Looking around, I notice some odd symbols appearing in my vision but they disappear in an instant. This isn't the first time it's happened to me and I still can't figure out what it is. I focus on the strange feeling and notice an astral projection standing there.

Y/N: What the?

The astral projection walks to a machine and places its hand on it. The machine is a cube with containers of black liquid swirling around on the top of it. From a guess, I'd say the containers add up to 1-2 pints. Other than that, there's nothing notable about it other than its pristine look despite the conditions of this base. Curiously, I do the same thing and regret it. The machine clamps down on my hand all the way to the middle of my forearm and I feel a small needle stick itself into one of my fingers. In a panic, I try to remove it but get disturbed by a computerized voice.

???: Clearance level: Alpharius. Welcome back Mr. Aldos.

Aldos, who's that? I feel several other needles stick themselves into my arm and inject something into me. The liquid also starts to decrease in volume until the containers are empty. The empty containers make the machine release my hand and I'm quick to look at it for damages. Much to my surprise, my hand isn't injured in the slightest. In fact, any pain or soreness immediately leaves.

Y/N: What was that? I'm not dead or in pain, so it might not be poison. Maybe I'll find some clues within this base.

I walk around for a bit and hear a clunk sound while my foot gets lower. Turns out I accidentally pushed a pressure plate, which opened a trapdoor. Before I can hit the ground, mechanical tendrils grab me by the arms and suspend me in the air. Another tendril with a red camera does some form of scan on my face before injecting some strange liquid into my arm. I then fall to my knees and see a pair of feet walk toward me. I can barely feel anything, as if my entire body is completely numb.

???: That would've been a nasty fall, wouldn't it?

Looking up, I'm surprised and can't believe what I see. It's a man who looks exactly like me. The only difference is that the left side of his head is shaved to show a blue tattoo that looks similar to motherboard lines.

???: Huh, looks like you survived after all.

Y/N: W-who are you?

???: Oh me? I'm Y/N Aldos, the guy you're cloned from. Well, I'm a hologram of him anyway.

I'm in shock at this. I mean, I know I was adopted and all, but I didn't expect something like this. "Y/N" chuckles at my shocked face.

Aldos: I know it's hard to believe, but you are a clone, but it goes a lot deeper than that.

Y/N: H-how deep?

Aldos: You're a clone I created as I knew the end of my people was inevitable as I discovered an asteroid heading for Terra. Clone technology wasn't perfect as even "identical" clones were within the 90% range when it came to genetics. You're considered a failed clone and were going to be used for biofuel, but you were too valuable to do that too as you had my DNA.

Y/N: So what did you do?

Aldos: I got a plethora of DNA from a woman known as Mitochondria Eve to behave as an X chromosome. With me being your template, you have Alpharius-level clearance within these ancient facilities and can use my Nanotechnology to its fullest. Sure any Alpha can do it, but you're quite literally built to house these things.

Y/N: Nanotechnology? Like Mr. Stark's armor?

Aldos: I've seen your memories and while they are similar, they aren't as sophisticated as my Nanotechnology. For starters, my Nanotechnology can replicate themselves thanks to their Biomatter converters and they change their code so often that they're basically unhackable. To protect their "host" they improve your physical conditioning and can regenerate from damage, which transfers to you. However, they only enhance and work on biological matters, such as regeneration or enhancing physiology. You can also use the Subservient Programs thanks to them being implanted into your brain as we speak.

Y/N: Wait what!?

I feel the top of my head and squeeze something soft and damp. Aldos just laughs at my horrified look.

Aldos: Yeah you got drugged with something strong enough to disable the sensation of pain while you were operated on. It's about done anyways so all the arms have to do is put back the top of your skull and your scalp.

Y/N: What did you put in my brain?

Aldos: 9 microchips that contain all of the data about the Subservient Programs. Each program has a different purpose which manifests itself as superpowers. Each power and program is responsible for terraforming a planet to hospitable conditions for humans. Come on, I'll teach you about your new Physiology so you won't be so clueless when the time comes for you to fight someone.

Timeskip
Well, it's been an hour since I met Aldos and I don't actually regret it. These Subservient Programs are useful and incredibly powerful for programs human by ran. They each have their own unique power and function that do have a use in making a planet hospitable now that I know what they do: POSEIDON clears up the water, HEPHAESTUS creates and manages machines, AETHER detoxifies the atmosphere and controls the weather, MINERVA handles anything data related like communications, APOLLO stores information about humanity to teach the new humans, DEMETER restores the floral biosphere and stores plant gene stock, ELEUTHIA stores human gene stock for cloning humans, and HADES initiates planetary extinction to start all over again.

All of them can actually be useful for combat and the programs can even be continued through my nanobots. For example, I can use DEMETER to turn my blood into seeds for my nanobots to plant. I'm actually enjoying my discovery and testing out my "mother's" power on a rat. Safe to say...

https://youtu.be/PqwmcjM9IL8

....I might use this all the time.

Enough of that, I have something to do. You see the League of Villains sent something to kill All Might a while ago. I decided to take some of its DNA in the form of brain parts and eyes to analyze it. It technically is a Human so I can save it as gene stock for ELEUTHIA. Not only that, I'm in the process of genetic manipulation. I got a random powerless person's DNA and some Wolf DNA to splice it together to make something. In one of Union's labs, that's actually what I'm doing. I put the vial away before feeling someone grip both of my shoulders.

Y/N: Yes Riri?

Riri: How did you know it was me?

Y/N: I won't say, just know that I know.

Riri: Well, how did your mission go?

Y/N: Uneventful, it was an old radio dish that was making the signal.

Riri: Bummer.

Y/N: Riri, I have something serious to ask you.

Riri looks at me with a confused expression but nods.

Y/N: What if I told you that I gained something, something that could make Atlas and Stark technology blush?

Riri: I'd be amazed, but what would that be?

I grab a cup of dirty water and put my finger in it. Much to Riri's shock, the water clears up and becomes safe to drink.

Riri: What the.......

Y/N: I found out some things about myself and my own physiology.

I explain everything that happened to me to an overwhelmed Riri, who takes some time to sit down. It's understandable, your best friend admits to you that he has the power to terraform an entire planet, not really something you expected.

Riri: That's... A lot to take in honestly. You basically went from normal genius to planet saver in less than a day. So, what are you gonna do now?

Y/N: Simple, I'm going to leave Union and start a company that does anything dealing with scientific innovation. Union has its toes dipped in different companies and controls them from the shadows, so finding willing scientists to work for me won't be too hard.

Riri: Really?

Y/N: Yes Riri. Thanks to some weird thing Aldos did to me, I have some plans and knowledge from that ancient civilization so I can make things to better this world.

Me and Riri hug each other, but I know that this won't be the last time we see each other.

Who knew selling laser pistols to Atlas would've made me rich? I mean, there's a factory there that manufactures a certain amount as well as technicians to fix them, but that's beside the point as they're still under my control. The first round of laser pistols sold for millions as something that advanced was unheard of as a mass-produced commodity. Even Stark Industries was baffled at a high school dropout selling something like this. I've become something of a target because of it, but it's not really something I'm concerned about. Right now, I'm eating the cookies that Ruby and her mother sent me to my home. I chose this location and size due to its proximity to the original Y/N's bunker, allowing me to safely transport the objects inside so they don't fall into the wrong, power-hungry hands of Union or other organizations.

Y/N: Those two are something else, even the cookies are still ooey gooey and soft. I need to stop procrastinating and do some experiments on those creatures I found.

Sighing that I have to work and can't enjoy the sweet goodness of the cookies, I walk down a corridor to a random wall. Most scientists and inventors spend thousands, even millions, probably billions, on these extravagant and elaborate labs in "remote" locations. It's quite understandable because the technology required to do scientific activities at an advanced level is quite expensive. I on the other hand have been blessed with this advanced technology and my intelligence, so I bought old laboratory equipment and fixed it up with parts from the old facility. Once I make it to a wall, I push it inwards and the wall splits in half. Both halves move aside to reveal an open elevator, which I enter and press the lowest button on it. After about 5 minutes, the door opens and I see my laboratory.

Wandering around to look for the creatures, I smile at what I see. Suspended in tanks of clear liquid are two humanoid creatures that look stronger than most modern superhumans.

I look at my assistant. He used to be an A.I called the Intellectual Virtual Autonomous Network, or I.V.A.N for short. You see, I didn't want an artificial intelligence with no personality or actual thought put into the responses, so I used some of my money to buy a death row inmate who was also a renowned scientist. I removed his brain from his body and installed it into a robotic one while installing I.V.A.N's data chip into each lobe after converting them into microchips. Since then, he's been an amazing assistant within the lab and he's surprisingly good at housecleaning.

Y/N: Have you found anything regarding these things?

Ivan: With a bit of hacking and genetic screening, I was quite surprised with my findings.

Y/N: Do tell.

Ivan: Well for starters, these things are a variant of creatures known as Tyrants called Ivans, don't say anything I'm well aware we share the same name. They're derived from the T-103 Tyrant and are smart enough to carry out more complicated tasks. Those coats they're wearing are called limiters, which are designed to limit the amount and severity of mutations. Fun fact, the "1" in their designation is to show how different they are from their predecessors.

Y/N: Interesting, but what of their physiology and anatomy?

???: I'll take over my Technologist companion.

This is my other helper, Stein. Stein is a genetically engineered assistant with an amazing memory and no bones. He's skilled in any field that involves life science and was made with another intelligent supervillain and Octopus DNA.

Stein: What we found was quite interesting. They're capable of running 43 mph and strong enough to punch through a concrete wall. As Ivan stated earlier, they're smart enough to carry out complex tasks better than their predecessors and they can regenerate from small or serious wounds. If they sustain too much damage, however, their bodies begin to undergo a regenerative mutation process, hence why they wear limiters. I've also isolated the virus they've been infected with and found out it's called the T-Virus.

Y/N: Very interesting.

Ivan: What will you do now, sir?

Y/N: I'll create slimmer clones of them to save money on security. I have plans from Aldos's personal notes about archaic suits of power armor. It's archaic to them, but highly advanced for our time. It'll make anything Atlas creates look like tinker toys in comparison.

Ivan: How long will it take for you to create genetically engineered clones?

Y/N: I have something to do today, so I'll be done by next week. Stein, would you mind starting for me and I'll finish where you left off?

Stein: It shall be done, sir.

Ivan: While he's doing that, would you mind if I got started on creating their armor?

Y/N: Not at all Ivan.

Timeskip
There's a lot of stuff I have to do. For starters, I need powered human DNA for gene stock to make an army in case I ever need it. Aldos had a program-type thing that randomized the basic human DNA I have, so I don't have to worry about inbreeding. Those Ivans could serve useful as guards or simple labor, but how am I going to clone humans without the government finding out? Getting DNA will be simple enough, especially when it comes to villains. Just beat them up, collect their blood, and store it for later. Anyway, I decided to take a walk around a village. Wonderful place it used to be, but Grimm, polluted water, acid rain, low abundance of food, and lack of a proper defense have ruined this once nice place. I walk to their water source, which nearly makes me gag.

Y/N: This will not do, not at all.

I pull out my phone and dial Ivan.

Ivan: Yes, sir?

Y/N: Ivan I need you to send that large water purifier to my location, ASAP!

Ivan: It shall be done.

30 minutes later, a cargo helicopter reels down a large metal canister on the bank of the water source. I open the canister and the parts of it get reeled back up before the helicopter leaves. Robots start to assemble the machine with two large tubes going into the water on both sides.

Y/N: Perfect.

I turn on my hud. Due to the biotechnological nanobots the original Y/N created circulating within my body, I have this hud that acts as a computer. On the left side of my vision are symbols representing each Subservient Program. All of them are actually part of a larger program called GAIA, whose function is terraforming planets.

The rest of the symbols disappear and leave one behind. That specific symbol gets bigger and takes up the spot the other symbols were in. This is the symbol of POSEIDON, the Subservient Program in charge of detoxifying water

Y/N: POSEIDON, you know what to do.

POSEIDON: It shall be done, Alpharius.

POSEIDON establishes a wireless connection to the pump and immediately works on purifying the water. While this was happening, some of the locals came out to see what was going on. All of them are shocked and overjoyed at someone casually cleaning their water source. A scared child walks up to me and pulls on my pant leg to get my attention.

Y/N: Yes?

Child: T-thank you, mister.

I smile and pet the little girl's head.

Y/N: You're most certainly welcome. No innocent people should live like this because of incompetent people in power.

A man comes up to me with a look of utmost gratitude in his eyes. Now that I think about it, how did these people live without clean water? Boiled water maybe?

Man: Please let us show our gratitude and reward you. This-

Y/N: No need, this is free of charge.

Man: No, we insist! Take both of these, we think you'll benefit from them more than we ever will.

The man hands me something that makes my eyes widen. A canister of Vibranium, the most sought after metal in the world.

Y/N: P-pardon, but is there more of this mineral?

Man: Of course! There are several deposits in the valley and in some of the plateaus. The problem is, it's hard for us to mine and many of our people died trying to get some for us to sell.

Y/N: This metal is incredibly rare and can store large amounts of kinetic energy! W-would it be possible for me to buy some land here and mine it?

Man: Of course! You can have all of it, we have no need for it anyways.

Y/N: A-are you sure? I can-

Man: No, you know more about this metal and can benefit from it much more than we could.

I nod and wipe any tears in my eyes. What? Vibranium is a rare metal and to hear that I can have all of the deposits is enough to make me cry. I shake the man's hand and call Ivan to tell him the news.

So I bought a Stark Industries fabricator and the formula for a metal known as Adamantium. I used the fabricator and materials to make armor for my Ivan clones. Looks good, right?

It looks good and performs even better than any old Atlas armor. In order to make the Ivan clones cheaper, I downsized their muscle mass and made them skinnier. Right now, I'm overseeing my Vibranium mines. Some of the citizens in this village work in them, but I was afraid of the risk of Vibranium sickness. To remedy this and boost production, I designed several pieces of equipment for both the Ivan clones and human workers.

Drills

Miner armor

Ivan miner armor

Bucket excavator

Mech suits

Due to how Vibranium works, I needed to create two different types of carriers. One carrier takes refined Vibranium ingots to a facility where they're sorted into containers. The other one takes raw Vibranium to a smeltery where it's turned into pure molten Vibranium.

Carriers for raw Vibranium

Carriers for refined Vibranium

Ivan: This is amazing sir.

Stein: I concur, a steady flow of Vibranium will allow you to make much stronger machines.

Y/N: Yes, but there's still one more matter to attend to.

Both my assistants look at me with audible confusion. I simply hold up an item one of the miners recovered.

Establishing a signal, the object displays a hologram of Earth. Several orange dots litter the hologram's surface. This however does very little to clear up their confusion.

Stein: What is it?

Ivan: A map of Earth?

Y/N: Close. It is a map of Earth, but each dot represents something the original Y/N hid. We have to find whatever they are before Union or any other power-hungry side gets their hands on them. Not only that, but some contacts informed me of HYDRA bases I can raid for technology.

Ivan: Why raid them? You're more than capable of replicating and vastly outmatching their technology sir.

Y/N: I'm lazy.
