A Scientific Journey
-At Y/N's facility-
Ivan and I are currently overseeing my plan to explore the ancient earth. To do this, I've started construction on equipment to help the soldiers fight anything that interferes and machines to make excavation and transport easier. This master map is a 3D model of the Earth like the one I had originally, but it includes locations of terrorist organizations, hideouts, facilities I can take over, that sort of thing. Stein however is overseeing the Ivan clones for our army as well as monitoring the Brotherhood of Mutants for potential DNA samples. One of the things I created to help in this is a Helicarrier.
(Remove the SHIELD symbol and put whatever you want)
I bought an old one from a SHIELD facility that they were happy to get rid of due to it being faulty. So, I used my fabricator to repair parts and make new ones. I even reinforced the hull with Vibranium and powered it with a massive generator called an Arc Reactor. I stole the plans from a HYDRA computer. Now the Arc reactor creates a lot of energy, so I only constructed two of these large ones. Every factory has smaller Arc reactors called Arc generators to supply them with power. My army is also a fair size as well. I'm in the defense contracting business while developing eco-friendly technology, so having an army isn't that strange. It isn't anything too serious, it just consists of:
500 Ivan clones in Mark IV armor and armed with an assault rifle and pistol as a sidearm. They make up the bulk of my army as my shock troops. Despite being designed to follow orders, Ivan clones can use firearms and pass complicated firearm training, and they still mutate if they suffer too much damage. Their armors behave like the original Ivan limiter coats and have better defenses to prevent these mutations, but I still think the mutations are beneficial. Any mutated Ivan clone is simply outfitted with better suits of armor to accommodate their new forms.
50 soldiers with combat exoskeletons known as the HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark II [J] Armor Defense System. The soldiers that use them nickname them the Green Machines. They're armed with twin miniguns on both arms and a twin-barreled cannon on the shoulder.
10 soldiers operating a HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark II [J] Armor Defense System armor, specifically the Colossus variant. They're 9.3 feet long, 19 feet wide, 29.5 feet tall, and weigh 11.3 metric tons. Each walker is equipped with a 20cm railgun for ground units and a 20mm autocannon for all-rounded combat.
10 Soldiers operating combat exoskeletons known as HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark IX Armor Defense Systems known as Mantis. They're 9.2 feet long, 19 feet wide, 19 feet tall, and weigh 5.2 metric tons. While they're weaker than the Colossus, they're faster and more agile. Each walker is equipped with a 20mm heavy machine gun and missile pod that shoots 35mm surface-to-surface missiles.
I also have 5 special officers outfitted with relatively new suits of power armor. I call them the JRXL-1000 Variable Threat Response Battle Suits or "War Machine" armors. I based them on Iron Man's armor, but more suited for heavy combat. It still has the normal repulsors, but they're armed to the teeth with weaponry: Claridge Hi-Tec pistols, a M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System, two FN F2000 Tacticals under the forearms, a Milkor MGL 40mm Grenade Launcher, and a M134 7.62mm Minigun on the shoulder. They also come armed with 2 special bunker-buster missiles.
Ivan: Sir, I recommend looking at this.
Y/N: Is something wrong?
Ivan zooms in on one of the locations. This location in particular is one of my Vibranium mines which doubles as a Maintenance factory. My eyes widened because not only was Union there, but Atlas and King T'Challa himself along with some of his guards.
Y/N: Shit!
Ivan: Shall I send our full force?
Y/N: N-no, just send a small amount of everything. 50 Ivan soldiers, 25 Green Machines, 5 Colossus walkers, and 10 Mantis walkers will do. Also, assemble the Helicarrier crew, I still have to assign them to the Helicarrier.
Ivan: Your transport is ready sir. Also, is that an eyebrow piercing?
Y/N: Oh, I kinda forgot about that. Riri suggested it a while ago and I recently put it in. I had it made from a small piece of excess Vibranium. How does it look?
Ivan: You look immature.
Y/N: I may be a scientist who owns a multi-million-
Ivan: Actually, your company's net worth has recently hit 2.5 Billion after you started selling those Industrial Water purifiers and used your Ivan clones for defense.
Y/N:..........logistics at its finest. Anyways, let's hurry and assign the Helicarrier crew, I don't want Union getting their grubby hands on my Vibranium episodes.
Ivan and I take a car to a second one of my buildings, which is about 10 miles away from this facility. This is one of my factories, specifically the one where robots are made. The robots made here in particular aren't designed for combat in the slightest. Despite this, they're made from an ultra-resistant alloy of Vibranium and steel. This makes them maneuverable and lightweight while also making them extremely durable.
Ivan: Your crew is ready, sir.
This is the crew of the Helicarrier, 1,000 robots. It's cheaper to make them than to hire human workers.
Y/N: I will designate them all as Helicarrier Crew 001. Simple enough so I won't have to think as hard to come up with a name.
Timeskip
With my fighting force assembled and my Helicarrier crew operational, I fly to the Vibranium mine to ensure my supply of Vibranium is undisturbed. It looks like they've bulked up as well. Union brought some heroes and hunters, Atlas brought 50 soldiers and 4 Paladins, and King T'Challa brought his Dora Milaje. The pilots position the Helicarrier a good distance away from the invaders while my soldiers descend and get into formation. This sudden show of military power surprises all of them, especially since I'm leading the force.
Y/N: Why are you on my mine? Not only are you trespassing on private property, but you've brought what can be considered a small army.
T'Challa: We intercepted grunts from the League of Villains driving several trucks with unknown contents. When we searched the trucks, we found that all 5 of them were hauling 15 tons of Vibranium.
Ironwood: When we checked the records of each truck, we traced them back to this location.
Y/N: Well your search was all for naught, those trucks were mine and I was wondering where they went as one of my facilities didn't receive their supply. So I'll just have to take those trucks and the Vibranium bac-
The Dora Milaje point their spears at me while the Atlas soldiers point their guns at mine.
Ozpin: Unfortunately that won't be possible. The nation of Wakanda is the only one who has access to Vib-
Y/N: See I'm going to have to stop you right there. Wakanda is one of 4 places that have large deposits of Vibranium. After I was given exclusive mining rights in this village, I decided to create a scanner to see where more deposits were. I found out that the deposits are in Wakanda, somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, this village, and somewhere in Atlas. If I'm correct, I think it's under the Schnee manor as that's where the signal was the strongest.
The moment Ironwood heard that, he recalled his forces.
Ironwood: I'll have to take my leave, nothing here requires my assistance.
Y/N: You're actually going to have to return the Vibranium you confiscated or else there will be legal troubles, especially if you try to use it for anything. I'll be nice and give you 2 weeks time to return it. Every. Single. Ingot and truck. Until then, ciao~.
I wink, making most of the women present blush. I decided to stay here and actually make sure the mine is in top condition and ensure that future Vibranium transports are safe. Luckily the invaders left: Union was angry they couldn't seize a source of Vibranium while T'Challa was relieved that I hadn't stolen anything. Though I do feel somewhat bad for the Schnee family, Ironwood is more than likely going to dig up their house because he thinks there's Vibranium there. I just shrug and turn around, only to be met with a frantic overseer. Overseers are workers I hired to oversee the production of whatever facility they're assigned to.
Overseer: We captured 4 prisoners who snuck into the facility.
Y/N: Again? Ugh, I really need to get some defenses in this place.
Overseer: There was also some hulking creature that kept repeating "Stars" over and over again. We captured it and put it into a Vibranium cage so it wouldn't escape.
Y/N: Oh?
Overseer: We felt like you should've observed it before the bulky miners attacked it. Follow me.
I follow the Overseer to the cells. I actually take in the sight of the miners hard at work and the Vibranium being smelted. I'm still surprised that there's this much Vibranium in a random village, and they're letting me mine it for next to nothing! I really hope Union uses those few neurons they have to be smart and return my stolen Vibranium, shit's expensive! I don't wanna get lawyers involved either and risk Union bribing them. Me and the Overseer finally make it to the first cell.
Y/N: Ok what the hell is that?
Overseer: U-umm, we don't know.
I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose.
Y/N: Before you say anything, I'm not mad or annoyed at you, I'm amazed that people genuinely make these creatures and were dumb enough to attack this mine. I'll have Stein analyze it later today.
I quickly sent a message to Stein and put my phone away.
Y/N: Onto the next prisoners.
The Overseer nods and shows me the next cell. My eyes widened before I chuckled.
Y/N: Well if it isn't team CMSN (Crimson).
Cinder Fall
Mercury Black
Emerald Sustrai
Neopolitan
Cinder growls at me.
Cinder: What are you doing here?
Y/N: It's only fitting for me to see the prisoners who trespassed on MY property.
Mercury: Wait, you own this place?!
Y/N: That's right, I own this entire Vibranium mine.
CMSN: Vibranium?!?!
Mercury: That's why Salem and All for One wanted us to take over this place quickly. It's more valuable than a gold mine!
Overseer: Sir, we found this on their leader.
Y/N: What is that? You know what, send it to Stein because that looks biological in nature.
The Overseer nods and leaves. I pull up a chair and sit in front of their cell.
Y/N: So how've you been?
Neo: 'I miss my Ice cream buddy =3=.'
Ah yes, me and Neo had a bond during my time in Union. I figured out they were tied to the enemy, but I didn't care because it had nothing to do with me. Actually, I had a casual relationship with the entire team. Emerald tried to steal from me but always failed, Cinder tried to act as a dommy mommy towards me, and Mercury was just a bro.
Stein: 'Sir, me and Ivan have made an amazing discovery with the symbiote sample you brought us.'
Y/N: 'That fast?! I just sent them to you!'
Ivan: 'We'll explain the details to you later sir, but we've managed to create a symbiotic prosthetic arm.'
Y/N: '........You two work too fast when it comes to new discoveries.'
I look at the criminals before getting a big-brained idea.
Y/N: Cinder, what happened to your arm?
Cinder: Why do you care?
Y/N: I'd like to offer all three of you a job opportunity.
Cinder: Like I'd betray Salem!
Y/N: It comes with benefits.
Mercury: Like?
Y/N: Free healthcare for one, you get paid based on your performances, you have access to advanced weaponry and equipment, oh and vacation days.
Neo: 'Ice cream?'
Y/N: All you can eat, you can even convince Roman to join if you want.
Neo: 'Sold!'
Y/N: Mercury, I can give you much stronger legs and whatever else you may desire if it's within my power to do so.
Mercury: Even-
Y/N: Yes Mercury, even that.
Cinder: Traitors! You dare betray Salem for empty promises of power?!
Y/N: Cinder, I can replace your arm with something much stronger than whatever that thing is. Ever heard of the villains Venom and Carnage? Well, this prosthetic grants abilities similar to what they can do, albeit to a limited degree as it's just the arm. Not only that, but I can create technological items to augment your abilities at the drop of a hat, just look at the armor my soldiers are outfitted with.
Timeskip
We're in the medical wing of my office building. Cinder is currently marveling at her new arm.
Cinder: Amazing...
Y/N: I'm sorry it didn't do what I offered-
Cinder: It's fine, I'm glad to have a new arm.
I smile at Cinder and look at the entire team.
Y/N: Welcome to the team everyo-
Suddenly, Ivan bursts into the room. This scares everyone as Ivan isn't something you'd see every day. Because I've replaced his parts with Vibranium, he's incredibly hard to damage and can burst through the door easily.
Ivan: Sir, you're going to want to see this!
Ivan grabs my arm and drags me to a room where we keep the master map. The master map is a much larger map that contains all of our important locations as well as information about said locations.
Y/N: What do you want to show me exactly?
Ivan uses his tendrils to press a blinking red location. A screen appears to show me an army of White Fang, HYDRA, and Grimm marching to attack one of my factories. This factory in particular is where we located a piece of something that belonged to an ancient race known as the Forerunners as well as incredibly ancient technology. My eyes widened because I knew for a fact that they'd try anything to get their hands on any and all artifacts in there. I look at Ivan with the most serious look I can muster.
Y/N: Stein has already made the second generation of clones with that new creature I've sent to him. However, they're small in number with the first generation outnumbering them 5 to 1, not to mention they're highly unstable and won't last very long. I want you to assemble my entire army and have them en route to the base. I don't give a damn if Union will try to seize whatever is in that vault, I won't let it fall into their grubby hands.
Ivan nods and sends the message. I look at Neo, Emerald, Cinder, and Mercury.
Y/N: Are you four willing to fight, or do you wanna sit this one out? I won't be mad if you do so, but I'd prefer if you helped.
Neo: 'I'll help!'
Emerald: So will I.
Mercury: I wanna give these new legs a spin.
Cinder: I'll help you, I want to see how strong this new arm is.
I smile at them.
Y/N: Thanks, there's newly made equipment and weapons for each of you in the fabricator room. Suit up and meet me at the docks.
They all leave to get their new equipment. I sigh and look at the screen.
Y/N: Guess I'll have to put my plans into action earlier than expected.
Timeskip
Me, CMSN, and my officers are on the Helicarrier and directly above the combat area. There are also dropships carrying my soldiers and the mechs as well. As promised, all four of them have specially made armor and weapons tailored to their individual physique and fighting style. I plan on joining the fray as well, so I put on the armor I made for myself a while ago. Thanks to making a few lucrative deals with rogue scientists of Alkali-Transigen, I was able to get the formula for Adamantium. This stuff is typically hard to make, but not for me considering how advanced my technology and equipment are. Thanks to that, I was able to make my armor out of a Vibranium-Adamantium alloy, making it lightweight, durable, and shock-absorbent.
(Remove the helmet/mask)
I made a sword for myself as well using Vibranium A, Adamantium, and Vibranium-B. Unlike its well-known counterpart, Vibranium-B is found in Antarctica and it's able to cut through other materials. I also experimented with vibrations because Sci-fi movies use them to increase a sword's strength, "Vibro-blades" they're called. The results were actually successful and I can use powerful alternating currents and the oscillations to weaken the molecular bonds of solids. So not only is my sword durable and light, but it's incredibly sharp as well.
Emerald: Nice armor.
Mercury: That's a pretty sharp-looking sword, you sure you can use it, boss?
Y/N: Very funny Emerald. For your information, I'm a skilled combatant and I use my technology to enhance that. This armor and sword are made from metal alloys and I took an interest in the kinetic redistribution technology used by King T'Challa, so I developed a similar mechanism for my sword and armor.
I look at my officers.
Y/N: Are the troops prepared to land?
Officer 3: Yes sir, they'll depart on your command.
I nod and press a button on my phone, making a holographic screen pop up.
Cinder: What's that for?
Y/N: It's so I can command the dropships where I need them to release the troops.
Mercury: Why does it look like Clash of Clans?
Y/N: Why not?
I select one of the dropships containing each of the new clones I named "Brutes", or "Proto-Brutes" in this case. Brutes are stronger than the original Ivan clones and are admittedly bulkier than them. Brutes are somewhat smarter as they can carry out intermediate strategies and use more advanced weaponry like ballistic weapons and AA cannons. They're armed with the same armor as the Ivan clones, only theirs is bulkier to accommodate their bulkier bodies.
I press one of the dropship icons before pressing a location on the screen, which makes a set of coordinates appear on the right-hand side. One of the dropships flies lower to the ground and drops the first wave of soldiers, 50 Brutes. Every dropship has the capacity to carry 50 troops unless they're war machines. War machines like the Colossus are heavier so they're 10 per ship, but I prefer to drop them into the fray via drop pods. The sudden surprise leaves the enemy army no time to react as they're riddled with bullet holes. Because Brutes are so large, I gave them miniguns in place of assault rifles. I go around placing random units in different places to further disorient the enemy army. Brutes and Ivans are dropped in dense areas while war machines are dropped where heavier machinery such as tanks and missile launchers are placed.
Y/N: You all ready?
They nod and we get engulfed in drop pods. The pods drop us into skirmish zones to maximize the amount of enemies we kill and end this whole thing quickly. To be honest.....
Y/N: I didn't expect this to be this easy.....
While our numbers are definitely lacking, our superior equipment basically destroys the gap. Like seriously, I cut through the hull of a fucking tank with my sword. After that, I just started using the blunt end of my sword to fight people while using the sharp end to cut through weapons and machines. By my estimate, we'll be done in a few hours give or take. Suddenly, a small but violent tornado rips through the battlefield. I also block a sword strike with the blunt end of my sword.
Y/N: So the infamous Adam Taurus decided to attack one of my facilities, what an honor.
He can hear the sarcasm in my voice and scoffs. I've been looking into the White Fang for my own personal goals and found something interesting: it isn't united in the slightest. One faction is loyal to Adam Taurus and seeks equality through force while the other faction is loyal to Sienna Khan and seeks equality through peace. I plan on recruiting Sienna later and preaching for Faunus equality for two reasons: because I like Faunus and to boost my reputation. What about Faunus hating elites? I'll just spin some lies and say I did it for a better reputation.
Adam: Well if it isn't the Union weakling turned CEO.
Y/N: Just tell me why you're here idiot.
Adam: Not that it concerns you-
Y/N: You're on my property, so it kinda does.
Adam:-but allies of mine found something of interest here. That's why they sent an army to get it by any means necessary!
I give a fake yawn at the enraged Adam.
Y/N: This isn't the first time I've had to deal with bullshit today. Union tried to take over one of my Vibranium mines since villains took trucks carrying Vibranium ingots. After this, I'm going to get a massage or something.
Adam: You can get one in hell!
Adam tries to use his swordsmanship to overpower me, but I keep using the blunt end of my sword to counter him. Thanks to the composition of my sword, the kinetic energy from his attacks is negated. To be honest, fighting Adam one-on-one isn't all that hard.
Adam: Why won't you take this seriously?! Use the sharp edge of your blade instead of the flat side!
Y/N: My blade surpasses yours in every way possible, so what's the point in going all out?
Seems Adam isn't taking my half-assed effort too kindly as he starts glowing? Must be his semblance. Adam suddenly lurches forward and delivers a strong slice.
Much to his surprise, however, I finally used the sharp edge of my blade in a clean yet devastating slice. Not only did I absorb the kinetic energy, which made my blade glow blue, but I cut his sword in half.
Adam: H-how?
Y/N: Oh, that's actually a fun question to answer. My sword is made of an alloy of Vibranium you'd find in Wakanda, Vibranium from Antarctica I've nicknamed "Anti-metal", and Adamantium. Then I used alternating currents to increase its cutting power even further.
Suddenly, Mercury comes out of nowhere and detains Adam. The bull Faunus doesn't have any time to react as he's taken away. Oh well, not my problem, I wanna find the source of these tornadoes.
Timeskip
Well, the enemy numbers have whittled down considerably since the attack and I found out the source of those tornadoes. The guy calls himself Riptide. He's a mutant with the ability to create cyclones of wind from his hands. He was with two other mutants named Pyro and Sabertooth, but they were dealt with pretty quickly. I even got some of their blood for later use and the blood of an Inhuman named Gorgon. Anyway, I decided to secure everything in the vault so we could make a tactical withdrawal. I say that, but really CMSN and the Brutes killed any stragglers that weren't killed earlier or detained. Thanks to the Isu genes Aldos gave me during my cloning, the vault opened on its own.
Y/N: Convenient.
There isn't much in this vault despite it belonging to the precursor civilization. However looks can be deceiving as this vault was designed to hold some of the more dangerous weapons belonging to the Isu. The material it's lined with hides the energy signature while rendering the weapons inert, even their display cases keep them from activating! It takes me a while, but I find all three of them.
Y/N: Now to hide them so those idiots don't find them.
???: Huh, so Y/N did finish his life's work.
I turn around and see another person who has a similar attire to the original Y/N. He however is a caucasian man with short brown hair and brown eyes.
Y/N: Another hologram?
Man: Yup, name's Vandus. I'm an expert on the subject of hard light.
Y/N: Isn't that- you know what, I'm not even surprised at this point. What do you use hard light for anyway?
Vandus: Oh lots of things really. Our society mostly used it for architectural purposes like the common bridges and overall aesthetic. It also has uses within the military as shields and ammo, some soldiers even use it for decoration. All and all, however, it can be used to strengthen pre-existing structures without changing their appearance. Out of all scientists who study and utilize hard light, I am the best at it and have been acknowledged by your gene-father himself. Now that I think about it, I could've used hard light to create special weapons in the Black Armory.
Y/N: Black Armory?
Vandus: Oh yeah, no one told you about the Black Armory. Well, the Black Armory is a place where ancient Terra manufactured higher-quality weapons and armor. Thing about the Black Armory is it's kind of the central hub for 4 other forges in different parts of the world. Here's a map for ya pal.
Vandus hands me a tablet. He then motions to everything in this vault.
Vandus: Please take EVERYTHING in here and put them somewhere safe. These three are weapons, that's a map of more Pieces of Eden, that's a data cluster about every Piece of Eden, this is a miniature Apple I made into a necklace, and this is another data cluster on the technology to create hard light as well as machines to make hard light.
Timeskip
That was certainly something, but it was incredibly beneficial. The data clusters were specially made crystals capable of storing large amounts of data and could connect to any computer, so Ivan immediately started making hard light machines for us to use. I also added the data cluster on the Pieces of Eden and the two maps into the database so we can better catalog them better. Speaking of Pieces of Eden, the three I have are incredibly powerful.
The hammer is Mjölnir, as in the one wielded by Thor. Mjölnir has the ability to project blasts of electrical energy, stun opponents with shockwaves, and harness the power of thunder and lightning. Guess I have a battery if I need to power a large machine.
The sword is Excalibur, like the one the Church and Angel faction worship like a god. While it can only project blasts of energy, it's still a strong weapon in the hands of someone untrained.
The spear is Gungir, the one wielded by Odin. It can generate force fields and even extend its reach with these force fields.
Right now, I'm putting everything away. They automatically get serial numbers and my drones put them in their proper spots for easier management.
Y/N: Gungir, Excalibur, Mjölnir, shockwave generation gene, enhanced smell gene, superhuman conditioning gene, regenerative healing factor gene, retractable claws gene, retractable fangs gene, aerokinesis gene, cyclone spinning gene, and fire manipulation gene.
My word, these genes are going to come in handy when I start cloning humans. My door opens and I see Ivan and Stein walk through.
Y/N: Status report?
Stein: The Brutes have been stabilized and can now be produced with no problems.
Ivan: The hard light machines will be ready in less than a week, but that's not why we came to speak sir.
Y/N: Oh?
Stein: We have something that may interest you.
Stein and Ivan showed me several files that put a smile on my face.
Y/N: Looks like we're getting a new worker, and a brilliant mind at that. Atlas is so stupid to ridicule a man with an imagination and intelligence like his.
