Chapter 2
I left the small house, shutting the door softly, thinking what else to do. It was quite boring here, nothing much happened. Maybe... I should meet him again? I started my way through the leaves of towering trees.
I kicked snow into my footprints each time I stepped through the blistering ground, my faint breath flowing into the air, then cold air rushing back into my throat.
"I'm here." I said with a faint voice, he should notice that at least, while I shoved my hands into my pockets.
I heard a slight click of the fingers. Just a simple snap. I turned around, with a broad voice the figure spoke, "I thought you'd never come, Da-"
"I, don't need a name." I snapped, what was the point anyway, title didn't matter. I looked up to the taller figure, eyes the color of a ripe red apple, and his jagged black hair. "But, I'll be happy to use your name, Hex."
He had this amused face, then chuckled, "Ah, such words from someone so younger then me, your practically a toddler." Hex put off a smirk, "Why'd you come anyway?"
I had anger pulsing through me, soon I noticed I was gritting me teeth, "I'll have you know, at this age, humans are teenagers though."
I then skipped to the question, not wanting to talk about age, "Out of curiousity, why'd you make me kill her." I mumbled softly.
Hex had a mischevious flash in his eye, "You do know demons, they practically are the bringers of death." He said with quite enthusiasm, I honestly didn't like it as much, "And your a special heir... wouldn't want to ruin your family blood.
I bit my lip, heir this heir that, nothing special. Hex probably noticed it, for he turned around, fingers about to rub against each other, "Well, I should be off." I was quite surprised I had a lot to talk about, "N-no wait!!" Came out of my mouth so suddenly.
I tried to grab the collar of his black shirt, but he had disappeared in a snap.
Two last word from him, was really all he said.
"Good luck."
