Today we have Mounika akka with us, she's the author of "My Destined Majili" - A story which is really good, you can feel all the emotions of each character and have a rollercoaster ride as the story proceeds.

What is your real name and age? (It's okay if you don't want to disclose)

Hey, that's not any national issue. This is Mounika and mother earth bearing me for 28 years.

What is the aim you want to achieve?

In reality, in some cases, Aims and goals will change with situations and health issues.. And to my achievements, as my hero Mahesh Babu said, it's not a destination but a journey, I achieved a lot, I am, and I will achieve many. My biggest success is I won over my insecurities, and yes I achieved myself. Coming to the profession I want to become a banker now and I am working on it hopefully this year. And My lifetime goal is, that whatever I do I want to stand for myself and the people around me personally, emotionally and, economically.

Totally true, success is not a destination it's a journey and I love all the dialogues in that movie too 😁. We hope and pray that you achieve everything you want to akka ✨

Moving to next question, What would you like to do in your leisure time?

Mainly writing, Movies, novels, and sometimes cooking.

Next one,What inspired you to write on wattpad?

It's solely me, yes I started writing in the process of getting me out of my depression but Miraculously it makes me feel what I am and I found myself in writing. I too don't know that I can write such a beautiful plot. Don't think I'm boasting about my story but I can't help it. I love my story and I penned every character with a lot of emotions. And one more thing I'm a professional over thinker, I put my overthinking ability on Wattpad and that's how the writer journey of mine started.

I can actually kind of relate to the overthinking part. But truth to be told, your story is worth the boast. There is nothing wrong in boasting about ourselves, it's like a self motivation

Moving on to the next one, What are your expectations from readers? Which readers have constantly supported you since the start?

Comments, either good or critic I'm fine with anything. Readers, please tell me your views pretty please Do comments. And My regular readers' count is very less. Yeah, less than 20, they are with me from the 1st chapter and I know they will be with me till the epilogue. Guys love you so much and you are my motivation to write. Your lazy author.

Yeah, I read. I have a bucket full of stories on my favourite list. But I want to mention a few,

Next question, As an author do you like being a reader or writer? Which genre would you like to read mostly?

Actually both but I chose to be a writer than a reader because I completely forgot my every hurdle while writing. I'll be in an enthralled world. I love myself when I'm writing.My favourite genre: Romance, I like mystery too.

True that, writing makes you just dive into our own imaginary world away from all the things in real life. I love Romance too hehe

Your story "My Destined Majili" is amazing, What was the central idea for it and what inspired you to write it?

Vammo really? Thank you so much. Firstly! thought to write an one shot, after the one shot I planned to write an army love story, i just have a rough idea, I didn't planned any plot yet but that day Morning I thought to write and I wrote in a few hours, the first chapter Of my Destined Majili published on same day. The day is Feb 14 2021. It's the same day we remember our soldiers and another side. It's a day of Love to so many, so I mixed both. I don't even know that I can write such a beautiful story(for me). But my first one shot is still in draft.

I really like it how you wanted to show the two sides of the coin. On one side it's Valentine's Day and the other side Black Day for India where we lost many soldiers.

Next one, How do you overcome your writer's block?

Yeah, sometimes I can't even type a word. That means something was occupying my mind. So I'll clear that thing which is troubling my little mind. Then have a tight sleep. Then I try to write. mostly it works for me.

Would you rather be an anonymous writer or a recognized writer?

Obviously a recognised writer, I'm investing my efforts in between the mess of my life and I know my worth in writing, moreover I believe in myself. I'll be happy if anyone appreciates my efforts.

Would you rather go on writing for days or take weekly offs?

Days and days. I don't have any specific schedule but I write to relax myself.

Would you rather choose a calm place to write or a place where people are around you?

I need a calm and peaceful place to write. I prefer home.

Would you rather plan a whole story before writing or just go with flow?

I have a rough idea about my whole plot.
And I'll include my ideas in between while writing and I'll erase or change a few if I'm not satisfied with chapters.

Would you rather choose to follow your flow or take reader’s suggestions also into the plot?

Sometimes, Readers' Suggestions were accessible, I'll merge them with my plot but changing the plot was a big No.

Would you rather write in all places of the world and experience the feel or just write in your home?

I need a calm and peaceful place wherever it is. And most importantly no one around me.

Would you rather kill your character or torture your character?

Well I don't want to reveal my plot and torcher, even I too feel sad to write that to my story characters but the pain is part of life na? I want to write it as real as possible.

You have crossed your teenage years. What is your perspective about that phase of life? Was the teenager years  a cake walk or a road filled with troubles?

It's all about the situations and how we handled them. A lot of things will change within us. And top of them the pressure and comparisons of society and relatives. Studies, scores, ranks uff a lot mess. In between all we need to have a clarity of what is our wish, what we want to do. Of course parents suggest what good for us, but we only know what makes us happy. I am clapping for the present teenagers, who are taking time to their passion along with their career. Be determined with your passion, but don't neglect studies. If your passion left you with no way then your education will feed you and your family.

Upto the point words akka, these were really inspirational.

Many of them think that teenagers don't have a good stability of mind and they have mixed emotions all the time. Most of the wattpadians are teenagers. What do you think about this?

In some cases it's true. Not about teenagers, even adults have no clarity of things around us sometimes. And teenage wattpadians I'm really proud of them. Writing such interesting and beautiful content. Some are writing funny and cute romance, some are adult romance and I'm impressed with both, Sometimes I wonder when under 18 writers are writing 18+ content. I'm not opposing it, it's their wish to write. I have no right to point when I myself read those stuff, But the excessive taking of these things is not good for both teenagers and adults. My point is intimacy is more about emotional bonding. Sorry if it feels offensive.

I totally agree with this akka, but we cannot change their opinions we can always tell them what's good rest all is in their hands.

As we know you are an adult. Do you miss your teenage years? If a chance would be given would you like to go back?

No, I am not missing anything and I don't want to go back. I want to make my present more beautiful. And I am not Vikramaditya to predict the future.

Vikramaditya reminds of only one line as soon as I get the name in my mind, I know, but I won't tell you 😅

Teenagers are often prone to opposite sex attraction and they believe it is love. What do you want to convey to them?

Yes, I too saw some people like that. And those are stubborn to listen to anyone and will feel devasted with little misunderstanding. It affects their minds and way of thinking. So before going to those stuff think twice and it is not wrong to doubt them and it is so much better to not be involved in such stuff at the time you need to focus on yourself.

Mostly many of us use social media. There are pros and cons in using it. Would you like to give us some tips to escape from the dangerous traps?

And social media, it has it's own pros and cons, now a days everything is online, but be aware with friends you make through these platforms, don't trust it blindly. It is ok to make friends in online. even I did but thankfully none behaves wrong with me, It is ok until they force you to share your personal information. Give them clarity that you don't want to share. If they try to blackmail for it, then it is time to use block option.

Many of them believe that teenage is a good age to know ourselves, and it's only the society that makes teenage tough. What is your opinion about this?

And yes it's the age of what you are going to be in your adulthood. So mold yourself as a better person. Parents need to become friends in this process, guide them in the right way of being better, and not force them to fulfill societal constraints. Who will know you more than a person (parent) who has been watching you since dayl from your birth to till now? I am not saying all parents are cool and friendly, The best teachers are parents, I can Say.

Indeed, I agree with that akka ✨ Freedom to explore the world must be given to all of us but we must also know that whatever they say is for our well being and as they are experienced already they would be knowing the road we go on better than us. Experience is the best teacher for a person.

Do you wish to convey any message to the people out there?

I am not great to give messages but want to say something. Live with ethics, try to be good with everyone because karma is watching you, No matter what Give a life to the real you in you.
