1. How has your writing evolved over the years?

— I've learned more about character development and how to move a plot forward. I've alsofound my niche. Horror-comedy.

2. Do you prefer plot-driven or character-driven stories?

— I like both. It really depends on the plot and the characters. If the plot is going to move the characters, then it needs to be a very strong plot. Likewise with character-driven stories.

3. What’s a piece of advice that’s shaped your writing?

— To always ask myself "What does my character want most in the world?" Then following itwith, "Now how can I prevent that from happening?"

4. What was your first reaction to the contest prompt?

— Excitement. To brainstorm potential routes to take.

5. How did you and your partner come up with your unique twist?

— We realized that the characters couldn't possibly recognize that their stories were incorrect unless they had already lived them.

6. Was there a specific moment when the story really clicked for both of you?

— It clicked almost immediately. We had a plan and just followed through with that.

7. What did this contest teach you about collaboration?

— That the ideas can really get flowing when two creative minds are sharing the wheel.

8. How did you feel seeing your finished story come together?

— I felt satisfied and accomplished. I was excited to share it with wattpad.

9. Are there any new ideas you’re excited to explore?

— All I'm working on now is my current book "You Guys See It, Too, Right?"

10. What does this win mean for you as a writer?

— It was a great honor. It meant that our writing meant something to someone. That ourcreativity didn't go unnoticed.
