May we know a few words about yourself?

I am very nice, inspiring, creative, and thoughtful. I never run out of ideas for my writing and I love talking to new people.

When did you start writing either on this platform or in a normal way?

I started to write in 2018 on this platform and I am still writing on it now.

What is your motivation to write?

Truly, every time I write I am filled with happiness. Writing is something that makes me happy. It's something I cannot go without a day doing. The passion I have for the hobby is strong. And once I started to grow on Wattpad, no longer did just myself motivate me to write but my readers. They inspired me to keep going and grow as a writer.

How did you feel when you got to know that you are the winner?

Whew! Well, I am certainly speechless. I couldn't believe it. I had to double-take, triple-take my device to see if my eyes weren't deceiving me. I am truly grateful to have won first place in the contest. It has certainly changed my look at how I see my writing as a whole. I now am more confident.

Did you ever face criticism? If yes, how did you overcome it?

Yes, I have faced criticism. Several times in fact. But usually, the feedback was so negative I just saw the people that said such things were haters and nothing more. I didn't allow such words to affect me. I kept on doing what I loved regardless.

When did you came across this genre or category?

Dark romance was always something I enjoyed. It's the thrill and suspense that always reels me in. So I don't necessarily know when I came across the genre, only that I have enjoyed it for as long as I can remember. I also enjoy writing about it.

What was your opinion about our awards and the way we hosted it?

Honestly, I really liked how organized everything was. I absolutely loved the designs you all made for the book stickers. The environment was safe and the hosters were pretty friendly. I enjoyed my experience and I am very glad I decided to join you guy's contest.

How do you handle writer's block?

Hmm, luckily I rarely get writer's block because on the daily basis I have many ideas floating around in my head so I never grow stuck. Though there are times where life gets in the way and I no longer want to write for a while. I wouldn't call that writer's block, just the yearn to write died down a bit. But usually, it doesn't take long to surface back up again.

Do you plan on taking writing as a profession?

Absolutely! I love writing too much to allow it to slip from my fingers. I have to take things to another level.

What was the response you got when you first published this book?

When I first published my book, The Unknown, many people loved it because by then, my readers were used to or grew to love my dark writing so I got positive responses and feedback from it which was nice.

Is there any advice you would like to give to teenagers out there?

I would like to say that every teenager out there is special in their own way. They are meant to achieve things that no one else can. Each one of them has a talent that surpasses the next teen. All you have to do is be willing to find it. Take the time to focus on yourself and from there, look deep within, you'll find it with no problem.
