Ain't that a kick in the head?
"You're only a high schooler?" Zhu Yuan asked, looking incredibly disturbed as she looked at Issei.
"Well, yes... Don't rub it in. Can't exactly study in the wasteland in anything above elementary." He said with a shrug. "I was more focused on surviving and setting up supply lines to and from the divide to both the Mojave and NCR territories."
"Say what?" Soukaku said, looking at Issei,
Courier Six smirked as he pulled out a journal and opened it before pulling a lot of things, creating a big map showing a lot of drawings and possible routes, notes on dangers.
"My life's work, the greatest trade and supply route connecting the Mojave Wasteland to NCR territories," Issei said with a smile as Lycaon observed it.
"Impressive, but what are these symbols?" Lycaon asked, noticing some symbols drawn on the map in a lot of areas."
"Radiation hotspots," Issei said with a grin. "See here, the ones with smaller ones are safe enough to go through or stay in for a minute or so, assuming you have a lot of Radaways or Rad-X,"
"Radiation?" Belle asked. "As in toaster radiation?"
"Nuclear radiation," he said with a shrug. "Nasty enough that if you survive and don't get patched up quickly to flush out the radiation inside your body, you'll fight cancer in 20 years or so... what?"
"Issei, you've been diving in many radiation-heavy areas!" Belle said, noticing the symbols on the map.
"Yep! I always carried a lot of Rad-away just in case," Issei said as he looked at the female hacker with a shrug. "See here?" he asked, pointing at a spot in the map with a very bold line. "This is an old nuclear test site, if you enter this, you're cooked. I mean literally. Your cells will be cooked by radiation the longer you stay inside it.
"This is vault 34, a radioactive hotspot, the radiation here gets stronger the deeper you go inside and Geckos live here that can easily damage or destroy your radiation suit if you're not careful," Issei pointed to vault 34 with a smile, happy to share it with Belle.
"I see, but still are you sure you're okay?"
Everyone, please proceed to the movie theater
"Showtime!"

After a few minutes of eating their meals, Issei and the audience went inside the theater.
The group of Issei, Veronica, Christine, and the hacker twins were flanked by the members by the members of the Cunning Hares and Sons of Calydon while behind them, the members of Victoria Housekeeping and the rest are in a row behind them.
Issei hummed, wondering what would be shown while holding a bucket of popcorn in one hand and letting Soukaku take some from behind him. As the lights turned off, music entered the theater room.
A soft and beautiful song echoed in the theater room as a crooked portrait of the casino, the camera slowly rotating upright and moving away to reveal more of its surroundings. It proceeds to exit the casino.
Many adults in the audience frowned at the mess inside the screen, none more so than Elle, who frowned, wondering why no one cleaned it yet.
While on the Strip, we see the main hotels and a mixture of drunk NCR military members and civilians walking in the streets. Three Securitrons startle a pedestrian as they roll towards the Ultra-Luxe.
"Issei," Grace Howard called out to the Courier. "What kind of robots are those?"
"Securitrons, basically bodyguard robots,"
Seeing the soldiers drinking on duty made the police officers frown but said nothing.
The camera zooms out further to the perimeter of the auroral city to an NCR Veteran Ranger firing a lethal shot from their anti-materiel rifle at an armed Fiend just beyond the confines of New Vegas.
Silence echoed in the theater as the blood splatter on the screen solidified one thing, Issei's former world was not a kind one.
The camera fades out in flames to a distant hillside. A scout uses his binoculars to observe the city of New Vegas and outer Vegas, while explosions faintly ring around the city. Beside him is a banner, bearing the mark of Caesar's Legion. Legionaries rush behind him as a Legion explorer waves them through.
Seeing the people clad in red, Issei frowned, only noticed by Wise as he looked at Issei.
Once more, the camera resumes even further from the city distinguishable only by its glow amidst the dark, night air of the Mojave. The scene becomes Goodsprings Cemetery, presently active with a small group of Great Khans digging a shallow grave, and a man in a checkered suit standing only feet away, lighting a cigarette.
"Is that?"
"Issei?"
"Big bro?"
"Perv?"
The audience looked at the unconscious body of Issei on the screen with his arms tied up. Seeing this, Issei growled and cursed something in Japanese as his hand reached for the scars on his head.
War. War never changes.
A narration echoed in the room as Yanagi frowned, remembering her service a few years back.
When atomic fire consumed the earth, those who survived did so in great, underground vaults. When they opened, their inhabitants set out across ruins of the old world to build new societies, establish new villages, forming tribes.
As decades passed, what had been the American Southwest united beneath the flag of the New California Republic, dedicated to old-world values of democracy and the rule of law.
As the Republic grew, so did its needs.
Scouts spread east, seeking territory and wealth, in the dry and merciless expanse of the Mojave Desert.
They returned with tales of a city untouched by the warheads that had scorched the rest of the world.
And a great wall spanning the Colorado River.
The NCR mobilized its army and sent it east to occupy the Hoover Dam and restore it to working condition.
But across the Colorado, another society had arisen under a different flag. A vast army of slaves, forged from the conquest of 86 tribes: Caesar's Legion.
Four years have passed since the Republic held the Dam - just barely - against the Legion's onslaught.
The Legion did not retreat.
Across the river, it gathers strength. Campfires burned, training drums beat.
Through it all, the New Vegas Strip has stayed open for business under the control of its mysterious overseer, Mr. House.
And his army of rehabilitated Tribals and police robots.
You are a courier, hired by the Mojave Express, to deliver a package to the New Vegas Strip.
What seemed like a simple delivery job has taken a turn ...for the worse.
Listening to the narration and the slides, the cast turned towards the courier sitting beside Belle as the screen turned.
"You got what you were after, so pay up." a voice of a man echoed in the theater as the screen showed the perspective of Issei as he woke up with his arms tied in front of him. Hearing the voices, the young man tried to snap the bindings off his wrist as much as he could.
"You're crying in the rain, pally." Another voice said as Issei frowned before he dislocated his thumb and tried to slip—
"Guess who's waking up over here?"
"Time to cash out," Hearing the voice, Issei looked up, seeing a man in a checkered suits flanked by two men dressed like biker gang members with one of them holding a shovel.
"Would you get it over with?" One of the Biker gang members asked, looking annoyed at the checkered-suit man.
"Maybe Khans kill people without looking them in the face, but I ain't a fink, dig?" The checkered-suited man said as he pulled out a platinum chip from his suit.
Lycaon frowned as he heard what the checkered suit-wearing man said.
"Is Issei going to be alright?" Corrin asked, looking scared
"You've made your last delivery kid." The man hid the chip back in his suit "Sorry you got twisted up in this scene." He pulled out a beautiful gun from his pocket.
Seeing this, Issei tensed and tried to break the bindings on his hand more.
The theatre watched in silence as the man looked at Issei and Belle held his arm, squeezing it a bit.
"I'm fine... I'm alive," Issei whispered to the female hacker.
"From where you're kneeling it must seem like an 18-carat run of bad luck." The man then aimed his gun at Issei before saying: "Truth is... the game was rigged from the start."
Bang
a gunshot echoed in the theater as the screen turned to dimmed, showing the man in a checkered suit looking at Issei on the screen
Bang
The screen turned black yet the sound of a body getting thrown on the shallow grave and the sounds of dirt being shoveled echoed in the theater.
"WAAHHHH!!! Big bro!" Soukaku cried, hugging Issei from behind while Belle paled. The rest of the audience stared in silent shock at what they had just seen. Those who had heard Christine and Veronica about Issei being shot in the head thought it was just an accident.
"I'll kill him..." Veronica gritted out, clenching her fists in anger as she saw her friend get shot in the head, not once but twice!
Lycaon sighed as she moved to comfort Corrin while Nicole did the same to Nekomiya Mana.
Burnice winced as she remembered what she had seen, to be shot in the head twice. That was even worse than being burnt alive!
Caeasr looked at Issei in respect, to still be alive after that? But how?
'Am I going to die?' Issei's voice echoed in the theater.
"Hold up! You can hear my thoughts?!" Issei asked, praying to his deity of breasts. "So not cool!"
'No, Not like this... move! Move, fucking damnit?! I WON'T FUCKING DIE LIKE THIS!' The screen showed a tv screen with the face of a cowboy on looking around a graveyard until...
A hand bursted out of a shallow grave as Issei Hyoudou pulled himself out of his grave with blood pooling down from the bullet wounds on his head, his eyes burning with a desire to live.
"WHAT!?"
"HOW?!"
The last thing the screen showed before it died down was a place surrounded by storms, a budding settlement before it disappeared in a bright light.
