16 years before Birth By Sleep

4 year old Aqua was woken up around midnight from her deep sleep by the yells of others from across the castle. She tiredly rubbed her eyes and then got up out of bed and quietly left her room and she saw the maids, servants, and soldiers rushing out of the castle. She was confused so she went to the throne room where her she saw the dead corpses of her mother queen Zelda, and her father King Hermod. Then Aqua began to cry but then felt some one grab her hand. "This way!" Aqua heard a familiar voice shouted to her. It was both Impa and Aqua's uncle Link. Link and Impa helped the sleepy but traumatized and 4 year old out of the castle. But.... When they had gotten to the gates, Link's eye was shot out with an arrow. Impa then took the 4 year old Aqua to where Aqua's aunt and uncle had lived before their deaths just minutes before, Lon Lon Ranch.

Meanwhile inside the house Lon Lon Ranch.

Elrena was staring out the window. "....When's mom and dad gonna be home?" 4 year old Elrena asked her twin brother. "Soon I hope," Lauriam said as he was playing peak-a-boo with his 1 and 1/2 month old baby sister, Strelitzia. Then they heard a knock at the door. "I'll get it," Elrena said. Elrena opened the front door to see her Impa along with her cousin Aqua who was crying. "W-what happened," The 4 year old blonde asked.
