Just a small background

→Monami is already a Special Agent, but has forgotten that....

→Monami and Karan knew each other from army school and had fallen in love in army school itself!!! They were engaged to be married.....

→#ghargharmeinsoldier project hasn't started yet.

→Monami had an accident about a month ago which made her forget about her army school days and especially Karan in particular....

Topic : Are you really there? Or just a figment of my imagination?

A woman ran across the hallway of the academy corridors while a man ran behind her chasing her, her tiny body frame helped her dodge him whenever he tried to catch her, giggles and laughter's filled the corridors and the lobby area as she ran away from him trying to escape from his hold.....

She ran and ran until she got tired and as soon as she stopped to catch her heaving breath, a strong arm pulled her into a secluded room where the lights were dim....

She felt his gaze on him and was about to say something when she felt his hand over her mouth!

She moved her eyes upwards in a questioning manner asking him as to why has he placed his hand over her mouth....

He bent over and pecked her forehead, and eyes while simultaneously slipping his hands inside her jacket directly on her skin, her breath hitched and she couldn't speak!!

He leaned towards her cheeks and kissed her once again repeating the same onto the other cheek! She blushed and looked down, he lifted up her chin and made her eyes meet his, his eyes had an intense look in them.... Captivating, his pupils dilated as he gazed at the girl. Though she could see nothing but his eyes, she felt being at peace with him.....

He then slowly leaned, reaching forward to catch her lips, when suddenly the scene changed, she found herself on the road lying in a pool of blood, then she suddenly heard a voice screaming out her name, "Monamiiiiii!!!!".

Monami shot her eyes open and began her daily routine of turning around the bed like a rolling pin on a piece of dough. Like every other morning she tossed and turned over on her bed today as well, it was the same thing happening all over again, just like it happened earlier.....

Nightmares haunting her every single night! And to add to it all of it, as though just to torcher her even more, it always started out sweet and romantic, and ended with her on the road in a pool of blood!!!!

She saw it again more like she saw herself again, herself with the same guy again......

She got up with a jolt and sat down analysing and thinking of the events of the past one month!!!!

Those sights had really caught her mind wound around just one doubt :- "Are you Truly just something I'm imagining about..... But if it is so then why do I always feel that I know you from a very long time.....", Monami thought as she gulped down water and wiped the beads of sweat of her face.

The scenes affected her every night it was like she had spent those moments with someone special but couldn't exactly place a finger as to with whom she had spent it....

Those eyes affected her the most, it was the only pair of eyes that had captivated her to such an extent, and the cherry on the cake was that she had never seen those pair of eyes in real, it had been appearing in her dream every single night since the past one month.....

Sighing, she got up and stretched out as her eyes peered at the rising Sun.......

Karan sat on his chair rocking himself to and fro staring at nothing in particular........

His eyes intently stared at the wall of frames in the dim light of his room!!! Tears trickled down his face and dried up but he didn't bother......

"Agar galti meri thi, toh sazaa usse kyun mil rahi hain! Aapko uss din kisiko kuch karna hi tha toh mere saath karte, Meri Monu ko kyun??? KYUNNN!!!!!", He screamed throwing a vase at the mirror in front of him, which in turn broke and shattered the glass!

His life was exactly like those shattered glass pieces!! There was no one to pick it up, Well the only person who did so was not around him anymore......

He was with her always, even today, but she wasn't with him! Maybe She Would Never Be Near Him Anymore!!!!

It started about a month ago more like after her accident!

That accident left her with injuries that were still on the road to complete healing.....

Luckily she didn't have any serious complications accept that she slipped into a two month coma!!! That day an Anonymous person had donated her blood and saved her life, but she couldn't thank him....

All she knew was that it was a man! The man left a note for her which read, "I don't know when we would see each other again, but just know one thing, your place in my life would never be replaced"

She received the same answer from her mom, her dad, her friends, even her Sid Bro! - "Hame nahin pata Monami"

How could her parents even let that man donate blood without taking his details! Giving up on her family and friends, she tried contacting the hospital administration - but that tooo turned out to be in vain!!!

The hospital authorities didn't agree to share any information about the donor as the donor had requested not to do so!!!!....

Feeling fed up of seeing the same dream, she got up and sat down straight.... She pulled out her mom's photo frame and kissed.

"Yeh kon hain mumma jo mere sapnon mein aakar mujhe har raat dikhta hain! Aisa lagta hain jaise main usse bohot pehle se jaanti hu, shayad bohot kareeb se bhi, lekin mujhe samajh kyun nahin aaraha hain ki yeh kon hain? Mera isse rishta kya hain? mujhe iske paas hone ka ehsaas kyun hota rehta hain? Mujhe toh lagta hain main pagal ho gayi hu mumma, pichle ek mahine se, jabse mein hospital se lauti hu tabse mujhe wo ladka dikhayi deta hain!!! Shakal toh nahin dikhta hain lekin uski awaaz kaafi jaani pehchani lagti hain!!! Ab aap hi solution do mujhe! Warna Sid ya Papa se puchungi toh who log wahi same cheez bolenge, 'mujhe nahin pata monami' ya phir 'I don't know Monu bro' Aap hi solution do mumma".

Just then, A notification popped up on her phone

Karan, Faizi and Sanju walked towards Batra sir's cabin.

He had called them and said that it was something important.....

Memories filled Karan's mind as he walked into the academy, the academy where he met his Rani Sahiba, where they became friends, where they fell in love madly, where they emerged as the best cadets of the academy, from where they led their first mission, and also where he lost her maybe forever.......

They entered the cabin and saluted Col. Batra,"Jai Hind sir!"

"Jai Hind Special Agents, I have news, desh me jo Continuous terrorist attacks ho rahe hai usne logon ko hila kar rakh diya hai, ministry ne mujhe bulakar ek mission lead karne ko bola, Toh maine jo decide kiya hain wo yeh hain ki agar desh ke har ek ghar mein agar ek commando rahega toh desh ki suraksha ki ek behter tarike se palan kar payenge. Toh maine decide kiya hain ki Parakram SAF ek naya program shuru karega jiska naam hoga #GharGharMeinSoldier , jaha hum civilians ko train karenge aur unhe kaabil Commando's banayenge!!!!"..........

Karan and the rest discussed the rest of the proceedings for the program and walked out.....

He closed his eyes and remembered their first meet where she thought he was the driver of the jeep taking them and then when she realised that he was also a cadet she had apologised to him for an entire week and then they became friends, Karan smiled and chuckled, he pulled out his phone and turned it on to see his wallpaper, "kaash hum dono iss mission mein saath mein kaam kar paate!!! I miss you Monami' but I know tumhare theek hone tak main tumhe hamare baare mein kuch bhi yaad nahin dila sakta, I Love You!!! And will continue to do so!!!!"

Monami opened her phone to see the notification and immediately squeeled in excitement......

She had received a mail regarding her selection in Parakram SAF academy for the #ghargharmeinsoldier program.....

She jumped up and down and screamed and squeeled in excitement and enthusiasm.....

"Papaaaaaaa!!!!! Meri acceptance letter mil gaya", Monami screamed as she decided to go down and tell everyone....

She ran down and as Dakku kaka her cook, she held his hand and rotated around as though she was playing fugdi!!!!

"Mona Baby, aap itni khush kyun hain?", Dakku Kaka questioned....

"Ek solid khush khabri hain kaka main bohot zyaada khush hu, main bata nahin sakti mujhe ab kya mehsoos ho raha hain", Monami said while hugging Dakku Kaka tightly.....

She started dancing, jumping, twirling, hooting....

Dr. Deepak Mahajan : who was being chef Deepak Mahajan at present heard the commotion and came out to the kitchen.

"Yeh itna shor kyun kar rahi ho Monu? Kya hua hain beta?", Monami turned and saw her father she ran and hugged him tightly, she kissed him on his cheek maybe a few hundred times....

"Bas beta bas, ab batayegi ki hua kya hai!!", Dr. Mahajan asked being entirely confused....

Monami turned to face him and took a deep breath, "Papa mera selection ho gaya hain. Mujhe Parakram SAF se acceptance letter mila hain! MAIN PARAKRAM SAF KI CADET BANUNGI! MOM KA SAPNA PURA HOGA DAD!!!!", Deepak took in a long breath, what he feared was repeating and now he couldn't do anything to stop her but he had to inform him....

Karan's phone rang as he entered the bedroom to pack his stuff.

He picked up his phone and saw the message

Wo Parakram SAF join kar rahi hain Karan. Aur iss baar main usse rok nahin paunga. Bas waada karo ki usse kuch nahin hoga, Waada karo ki tum uska dhyaan rakhoge. Haan, usse apne Special Agent hone ka sach nahin pata hain lekin ab jo wo waha aa rahi hain toh usse yaad aa sakti hain. Main jaanta hu tum usse bohot zyaada pyaar karte ho, toh please yeh meri ek request ka dhyaan rakhna. Meri bacchi ki puri zimmedari tumhare upar hain Karan. I know you won't disappoint me......

Karan sat down on the bed as memories rolled in like fire!!! She was coming here!

HIS MONAMI WAS COMING TO PARAKRAM SAF!

Monami climbed into the bus, excited like never before, finally her dream was getting fulfilled, Her happiness, excitement and enthusiasm knew no bounds.....

She pulled out her Mom's brooche and kissed it hard, "Apna ashirvad banaye rakhiye mumma, finally main apne sapne ki or badh rahi hu!! I love you mumma", She pinned the broche to her shirt and looked out at the scenery, not noticing when sleep engulfed her.....

She was sitting on his lap, as he nuzzled his nose into the crook of her neck, he kissed her slowly on her neck as she tilted towards the side letting him feel her and shower her with kisses. Her hand led up to his hair fisting it, as she breathed in deeply, closing her eyes and feeling him.

"I love you Monami!"

Monami got with a jerk as the bus driver pressed the break. She tapped her face and cursed her dreams what was that, and that voice and those eyes felt so real, as those she has felt them earlier as well....

It was as if her life was now based on a scene from a movie....

She sighed and got down, she smiled widely as soon as she saw the board....

PARAKRAM SPECIAL ACTION FORCE

"Mere Sapne, Here I come!!!", She said with determination shinning in her eyes!!!!

Karan shook his hands with each of the cadets as they entered in and then his eyes spotted her the love of his life....

She walked up to him and forwarded her hand, "Dr. Monami Mahajan reporting for training, Sir!!"

Karan shook her hand, his eyes not leaving her face,"Welcome to Parakram SAF", He said still being in a daze....

Monami left his hand and walked past him to the new group of friends that she had made.....

Karan stood looking at her retreating figure, he remembered what Faizi had told him when he told Faizi that Monami was coming, "Janaab insaan ko pyaar baar baar mauka nahin deta, lekin aap bohot hi zyaada khushnaseeb insaan hain jo aapke zindagi mein pyaar ne phirse dastak di hain, iss baar chahe jo ho jaye Monami ko apne se dur mat karna!!!"

Monami walked in to her dorm room allocated for her and sat down thinking about her Head Trainer......

Those eyes, looked so familiar to her....

When she shook hands with him, she felt a surge
of electricity pass through her spine and down her body....

His touch felt so warm and welcoming, his voice so familiar and soothing, his demeanour was so friendly....

When the formal introduction was going on and he announced his name as Special Agent Karan Shergill, Head Trainer, Parakram SAF.......

She felt a surge as though she has heard that name a million times.... His everything felt so known to her...

Surely there is something about him that influenced her and affected her....

She started feeling similarities between him and the guy in her dreams.....

She laid down against the headrest thinking about the guy from the dream and her Head Trainer Karan Shergill....

"Is he like..... really there? Or am I just imagining him, it's like he is just a figment of my imagination?", Sleep engulfed her as she sat thinking about the guy who ruled her dreams!!!!

Karan was walking past Monami's dorm room when he decided to take a peek at his Rani Sahiba. He peeped through the window which was luckily left open and saw her sleeping sweetly with a tiny smile adorning her face....

"Meri Rani Sahiba ko duniya ki saari Khushi mile Bhagwan!!! Aur main waada karta hu ke ab chahe kuch ho jaye main apni Rani Sahiba ko kabhi apne se dur nahin karunga, mujhe pata hain Monami tumhe hamare flashes aate hain, aur aaj iss environment aur logon ko dekh kar, mujhe dekhkar tumhe ajeeb lag raha hoga I know, par main tumhare saare doubts dur kardunga I promise. Ek baat hamesha wahi rahega Monami, main tumse pyaar karna nahin chodunga, aur naahin tumhe pyaar karne se rokunga!!! I loved you then and I love you now, And I will continue to love you"

He sat down remembering the events of that teror filled night!!!!

3 months ago

"Karan tum samajh kyun nahin rahe ho!!! Tumhe itna bhi bhorosa nahin hain kya mujhpar???? Karan stop! Ruko! Stop I said!!!", Karan walked ahead without paying any heed to what Monami was saying.....

A few hours ago

Karan and Monami had come out to a party and Aneesh created a sort of misunderstanding between the two by making fun of Karan and Monami's relationship....

Monami knew of his character and didn't comment , and just rolled her eyes away, Karan on the other hand was fuming with anger, his jaw stiffening, his hands fisting, his eyes turning red....

He looked towards Monami who blinked her eyes asking him to cool down, and he cooled a bit when he heard some of the ladies telling Monami how lucky she was to have a husband like Karan an Army Officer, of how proud she would be feeling!!! but then what Aneesh said next set Karan on fire....

"tum logon ko nahin lagta hain ki tum log iss Army Officer hone ko kuch zyaada hi badha chadha ke bol rahi ho!"

"Aisa nahin hain Aneesh Karan aur mere liye duty hamesha pehle hi aata hain and I am very proud of him", Karan felt at peace with what Monami said but Aneesh being Aneesh set fire to the burning coal.

"See, mujhe toh pehle se hi laga tha.. Jab log army officer ban jaate hain na tab unko kuch aur nahi dikhta.. kisi aur ki feelings nahi dikhti.. agar dikhta hai toh unhein kuch who hai sirf Desh.. Desh ke baad unke liye sirf unka kaam hi important ho jata hai.. Unhein kisi ki bhi kadar nahi hoti.. Bas unhein sirf ek hi cheez se matlab hota hai aur who hai unka kaam..!! Deshbhakti ke naam par bas dhanda karna aata hain inhe, don't you see it Monami tum ek aise ladke se shaadi karne jaa rahi ho jiska na Zinda rehna ka gaurantee hain aur naahin uske body ka waapas milne ki gaurantee!!! Waise kisko pata Mission ke naam pe who tujhe cheat bhi kar raha hoga!!!"

That was it, Karan got irritated and smashed the glass in his hand, shattering it and wounding his hand, Monami gasped and was about to hold Karan's hand when he walked forward and held Aneesh's collar.....

"tujhe kya lagta hain, Commando banna, Army Officer banna, mazak lagta hain kya tujhe"

Monami knew she had to stop him or else he would end up killing him, so she went and pulled his hand away and shook her head in a no.....

"Agli baar se kisi Officer ki wardi aur deshbhakti ko insult karne se pehle hazar baar se bhi zyaada sochna", he punched Aneesh and walked out, with Monami following him out!!!!

"Karan ruko, meri baat toh suno, Karannn!!!", Monami called out....

"Kya baat sunu Monami, aur tum, tum chup kaise baithi thi huh! Tumhe unn shabdon se koi farak nahin pada, Infact mujhe lagta hain ki tumhe pehle bolna chahiye tha, Sometimes I wonder tum Aneesh ki tarah dost kyun banati ho!!"

"Aisa nahin hain Karan, Aneesh ko main college time se jaanti hu and I know the way he behaves, uski aadat hain aise be matlab ki baatein karna, tum uske baare mein chhodo hum ghar chalte hain"

Karan jerked his hands off her hold and started walking away when, "Karan tum samajh kyun nahin rahe ho!!! Tumhe itna bhi bhorosa nahin hain kya mujhpar???? Karan stop! Ruko! Stop I said!!!", Karan walked ahead without paying heed to Monami's screams.....

Monami looked ahead and saw a car approaching Karan as he stood there looking into his phone, she called out to Karan many times while running towards him to save him, she pushed him off the road yet she couldn't save herself, she came under the wheel and was hit, She fell on the side hitting her head on the stone and blood surrounded her, Karan immediately got up and ran to Monami and took her head into his lap "Monamiiii!!!!!".

2 months later

"Beta Monami ko hosh aagaya hain", Dr. Mahajan said to Karan whilst placing a hand on his shoulder.

Karan looked at him with relief in his eyes it had been 2 months since Monami had slipped into coma and finally she had woken up!!!!

"Sach!!", Karan got up and stood at the door seeing his Monami lying like a dead and tired body, slowly fluttering her eyes open!!!

Deepak got in and sat next to Monami, "Ab kaisi ho beta?".

"Thik hu papa!!! Papa, Sid kaha hain?", Karan entered the room and Monami looked at him with confusion.....

Karan was about to step and cup her face, when Monami spoke up saying, "Ji aap kon???".

Karan's world stopped, his time stopped and he felt like he would faint and fall, the worst had happened, his Rani Sahiba had forgotten all about him and them in particular. Wiping his tears he turned around immediately and said "sorry galat kamre mein aagaya", and then he walked out!!!!
