OS:Together.
So before you sue me, I have something to say.
I'm so sorry I've been spamming updates the whole day. This is my third update of the day, jeez. This is one of the few holidays I have during exams, and I had a lot in my head.
So before I forgot, I had to write it down

The house, which was usually full of the all kinds of sounds, now bore an eerie calm. The only sounds in the dim lit corridors being the muffled murmurs from the living room.
An 11-year old girl with dark hair and dark eyes was sitting, or rather crouching in front of the shut door, hearing the voices.
Behind the door, she could recognize the sounds of the most important people in her life. And for some reason, everyone seemed unhappy. The last time the house was like that was a decade ago, when jer father had said, her mother passed.
She could make out the words her father spoke. She could hear them clearly, yet not quite understand what they meant.
"They said its cancer..stage 2...Monu I'm scared..." her father's voice seemed to shake, waver, as if he was crying. She could hear occasional sniffles too.
"Sid...Sid please...don't cry okay..." she could make out this voice, it was Monu! Monu was her dad's best friend. Why was she crying?
"Monu...Monu I can't lose her....they said its aggressive...I.. I don't--"
"Siddhart. Siddhart look at me." This voice...Karan sir. His voice shook too, but not as much as her dad's.
"Sir..I can't..I-- she's the last memory I have of her.."
"Siddhart, look at me, dammit! Vo Sanju ki beti hai...she's not going to give up, you cannot give up, hmm? She was a fighter Sid, Inaya is no less. Chemotherapy abhi bhi option hai.."
She peeped in from the little gap under the door. She frowned at the scene in front of her. Her father was sitting on the couch, there were tears streaking down his face. Monu was sitting next to him, rubbing his back, her lips trembling a little. Karan sir was in front of him, telling him something, his eyes seemed welling up too. Why were they so sad?
She got up and knocked the door. She could hear slight shuffling behind the door, before Karan opened the door. He looked completely fine.
Giving her a smile that had a hint of sadness in it, he bent low to her level.
"Inaya...aap soye nahi? Aapki tabiyet kharab hai na...doctor ne rest ke liye bola hai..."
"Papa ke paas jaana hai.." she said looking around the room. Karan gave her a small smile before lifting her up. He carried her to her father, who seemed perfectly fine now, besides the occasional sniffs he gave.
Upon reaching him, she hugged him tightly.
"Aap sad ho?" She asked earnestly.
"Nahi to...mai kyu honge sad bachhe? Mujhe zaroorat hi nahi hai, Karan sir jo hai. Sabke hisse ka sad, angry, annoyed he hi ho lete hai" Siddhart lied with a weak smile stroking her hair, a single tear slid down his cheek, betraying his words.
"Papa...aap aise sad mat hua karo." She said wiping it off his face and hugging him even closer. Sid closed his eyes, and pulled her even closer, as more tears threaten to fall.
"Aap please batao kyu sad ho..." she asked. Sid shared a look with Karan and Monami before sighing. Monami leaned a little into Karan, as he kissed her head to offer comfort. He himself was about to tear down.
"Bachhe...doctor ne bola...you're sick. And to be healthy, aapko thoda sa pain hoga."
"Papa..I'll be okay. Don't worry. We will fight this together. Right Monu, Karan sir?" She asked smiling at the two people who stood there, looking at them with moist eyes.
The two of them joined the two in the group hug. They knew, she was a fighter. She was going to fight this.
