Deepak: (mind) Hogaya siyappa.. Ab monu apna kaam beech me laayegi.. Par karan to khud army me hai.. I hope iss baar koi gadbad naa ho..

Moran: Pehle aap puchh lijiye..

They both looked at each other and smiled... Karan signalled her to go first.. Monami nodded and asked her question.

Mo: Dekhiye aap jaante hain me ek doctor hoon.. Mere liye apni life se zyaada dusron ki life matter karti hai.. Aur sabse zyaada mera desh matter karta hai.. Kal ko agar mujhe apne desh ke liye aapka ghar.. Aapse juda rishta.. Parivaar.. Sab chhodna padega... To me bina hichkichaye chhod dungi.. Kyunki mere liye hamesha se hi meri priority mera desh aur deshwasi rahe hain... Agar mujhe beech shaadi me kisiki jaan bachane jaana pade, to aap kya karenge? Shaadi tod ke chale jaayenge.. Ya meri priorities ko samajhke wait karenge...

Karan was shocked at her question... Not because of what she said.. But because he was going to ask her the same question!! Both of them have their own promises to the nation..

Karan always wanted someone who would be different.. Someone unique.. One who would understand his heart as well as mind.. One who would be his strength and not weakness.. And now that he had heard monami's question.. He felt that he has got the right one❤❤

Karan smiled at her question. Monami hadn't expected such reaction.. Yet she had a hope in her heart.. Deep inside her heart she knew the answer.. She knew Karan would be proud of her work and dedication for the nation... She believed that Karan was DIFFERENT..

Karan: Ms.Mahajan, Agar yahi sawaal me aapse puchhun.. Ki agar mujhe shaadi ke din hi kisi mission pe jaana pade.. Jahan se wapas aane ka waqt maalum naa ho.. To aap kya karengi.. Shaadi se inkaar ya desh ke prati mere kartavya ko samajhkar mere liye wait??

Monami: Kamaal hai Mr.Shergil.. Mene aapse jawaab maanga tha.. Aapne mujhe mera hi sawaal puchhliya..

K: Mene mera hi sawaal puchha.. Kyunki mera bhi aapse yahi sawaal tha.. Aur jab sawaal ek hai.. To i think ki jawaab bhi ek hi hoga.. Me wahi karunga jo aap uss situation me karengi..

Monami smiled.. She felt a new feeling within herself.. But was unaware of what it was...

Mo: I will wait for you..... (after taking a pause) FOREVER❤

Karan blushed.
K: Even i will wait for you... FOREVER❤

Amongst all this, the two hearts forgot about the surrounding.. They were actually lost in themselves.. The elders witnessed the scene.. They were happy for MORAN.. Everyone fake coughed to bring Moran out of their la la land🙈 Moran were blushing❤🙈

Sooraj: Waise.. Hume jawaab milgaya.. Phir bhi ab apne zubaan se kehdo.. Yeh rishta manzoor hai ya nahi..

Deepak: Han bachon.. Ab bol bhi do..

Moran looked at each other and blinked in assurance..

Moran: Me ready hoon

Thats it... And the elders jumped in joy.. They hugged each other and congratulated moran for their alliance.

Juhi: (cupped Karan's face) Hamari beti ke liye lakhon me ek ladka mila hai hume.. Sachme... Hum bohut khush hai Karan ki monami ka rishta tumhare saath hua..

Kashish: (cupped monu's face) Hum bhi koi kam lucky nahi hai... Monu jaise sweet, kind, honest ladki hamare ghar ki laxmi banke aayegi.. Sach me.. Karan ko tumse achhi ladki nahi milsakti...

(inka to saas-bahu aur saas-jamai pairs chalraha)

They all talked for some more time.. They had their lunch and now the shergils were ready to leave.. Par.. Par.. Par...

Hamare Karan bro ko jaane ka man hi kahan horaha...

Suddenly monu said: Papa.. Mujhe hospital me kuchh kaam hai me bhi chalti hoon..

Deepak: Par tumhari gaadi to kharab hogayi thi..
Mo: Han.. Han to koi baat nahi me cab book kardeti..

Karan: Umm.... If you dont mind me drop kardoon?

All looked at him. Monu smiled as her plan worked..

(arre bhai aag dono taraf lagi thi.. Karan ko jaane ka man nahi tha.. Aur monu ko karan ke saath time spend karna tha.. Sabke saamne to bol nahi sakte.. To..🙈🙈)

K: Nahi.. Mtlb.. Abhi monami cab book karengi.. Cab aane me time lagega.. So isiliye.. And duty pe late nahi hona chahiye.. Right Ms.Mahajan?

Monami nodded in yes.
Mo: Umm.. Par.. Um.. Uncle aunty?

Sooraj: Arre beta hamari tension mat lo.. Hum chale jaayenge.. Tum jaao.. Hospital me kaam hai na..

After a lot of discussion Moran were about to leave... When the elders said...

Elders: AAGE SE BAHANA MAT BANANA.. TIME SPEND KARNA HAI TO AISE HI BOLDENA..

They literally ran outside to Karan's jeep.. They looked at each other and started laughing at their own childishness😂😂

Karan: Waise.. Ab aapko Sunshine hospital jaana hai.. Ya Sunrise Cafe😉

Monami: Jahan aap le chale.. hospital me aapne dil ka operation aur meri duty karwani hai.. Ya cafe me dil aur duty ki baatein karni hai. Yeh aap par hai 😉

They sat in the jeep and drove to their destination...

Also one of the readers, SweetiSweeti8 asked me to write this story as a book and not short story... But currently i dont have any idea regarding converting this story into a book.. This, as short story, would have around 2 more chapters...
