Zane's POV
I walked home alone as I did a lot and when I got home I unlocked the door and went inside to check on my mom.
"Hey mom," I say standing at her door the was open.
"Oh Zane its you I've missed you."
"I missed you to mom. Do you need anything before I go?" I ask her.
"No no I'll be fine."
"Ok well if you do just yell for me I'll come check on you later."
"Your Amazing Zane." She said as she as she normally did it was her way of saying your beautiful just the way you are but no matter how much you try to change yourself I'll still love you.
"Love you to mom."
Then I went to my room to text Travis but he beat me to it.

💚: Well Garroth and Lawrence invites me to a hang out thing with them and asked me if you'd like to come as well.
🖤: yeah I'm free Saturday I guess that's tomorrow huh
💚: Yeah we will pick you up at 6:00 tomorrow night wear something nice.

I was so excited for this tomorrow.
"Zane!" I heard my mom call.
"Coming mom." I got there and she put the phone on her bed side table.
"The Hospital called and said they would do surgery this month but that means you being home alone for a long time I'm trusting you since your in high school to handle it will you be ok?"
"Yes mom I can handle it I'm so glad your getting the surgery you need."
"Me too But I'm worried since this is your last year of school you will have to leave me when you get out of school."
"Mom don't worry I'll never leave you."
