Christmas time! Eek I love Christmas. I've been watching all the movies since July. However everyone keeps asking what I want for Christmas. I don't exactly know how to tell them. I just pretend that I was some make up or some new drawing equipment, when in reality, I want a date. But not just with anyone, I want one with Zane. You see, since I came to the academy I've had a slight crush on him. We've been in the same class the past three years and been project partners a few times. This hasn't helped my crush.

I sighed as I continued to pack my bags. I'm off home this year, my first Christmas home in the years I've attended duel academy. It's currently the 22nd so only 3 days left and the sad thing is I don't think I'll be getting my Christmas Date. My ear peaked up as I heard a knock at my door. I shut the suitcase before heading over, I looked through the door hole, my cheeks turning red. Zane? Why? At my door.

I took a deep breath trying to compose myself. I took the plung opening the door. There he is, as handsome as ever. In his right hand he looked to be carrying a small gift bag. "Hey (y/n)," he greeted. After that greeting his words seem to stutter. "I was wondering if you would like to come and walk through the obelisk blue Christmas fare with me?"

My heart skipped a beat. In my head I was screaming however I managed a small "yes."

I never saw him smile so much. I like it. I locked the door behind me before walking by his side. Fortunately the fair was inside the main hall so we didn't need our jackets. My face lite up looking at all the wondrous Christmas decorations. "Dr. Crowler sure did all out this year," I heard Zane say.

I nodded looking back to the bag in his hand. "Hey can we get some hot Chocolate?" I asked quietly.

"Sure," Zane agreed taking my hand to the near by stand. I'm dreaming now Aren't I? Surely this can't be happening? My face is hot, I touched it, yeah this is real.

I watched as Zane paid for the drinks he handed my the cup that had a snow man wearing a fuzzy hat on it. I smiled, "it looks so cute."

"Shall we go for a walk outside?" Zane asked, I could see the slightly tint in his cheeks. I've never seen him look so nervous. I gave a slight nod and once again Zane had taken my hand, leading me outside.

I stared in awe as we walked, the lights were so beautiful, looking at Zane they made him glow. Oh Zane, this all feels like dream.

"It does, doesn't it (y/n)," I covered my mouth. I didn't mean to say that out load. I blushed madly as we sat on the bench next to the Obelisk blue tree. Zane placed him cup next to him before turning to me. "(Y/n) I've been thinking and now that we're about the graduate I don't want to leave with any regrets." Zane handed the gift bag to me. I carefully peered it open, excitement ran through me as I dug my hand in. The present felt soft and warm. Pulling it-out I noticed it was my favourite colour, (f/c). It's was a scarf, for weeks I've been moaning about getting a new one but how did Zane know. I placed my hand back in the bag and there were a pair of duelling gloves in (f/c) as well. "Merry Christmas (y/n)."

I felt tears in the corner of my eyes. I'm so happy. I looked up and smile noticing something. "Hey Zane close your eyes,"

Zane did as he was told, "why am I doing this?"

I leaned in so my lips were just millimetres from his. "Because were under the mistletoe." With that I pressed my lips on his. I felt joy wash over me as he kissed back. Best Christmas ever.
