Zane was at the dance being held by the Blackhearts and their relatives of similar naming, scanning the room. His eyes set upon a dark haired girl alone in the corner. He decided to walk over and introduce himself, the girl acting a bit shy and distant towards him

Eventually he got her to open up, even asking the young lady, who he'd found out was named Jay, to dance, which she accepted. Afterwards, proximity still close, they talked for a bit before Jay suddenly leaned in...

Not refusing her, they decided to go somewhere more... private, so that they could continue
