Old man nervously strumming his fingers as he crept across the hallway floor.

Reaching timidly for the door... while in his head scream people dying.

The lonely man proposed espouse.

They walked together down the hall into the heated parlor room.

Woman bathing in the lamplight breathing steam and flower pedals.

Standing weakly near the man that too complies as very meek.

They share a meal and speak of one who hates alive and kills for fun.

Baby lying in the cradle awoken flailing from the noise.

Overlearned the woman kissing his forehead whilst her lips be poised.

In the lamplight of his home arose a clatter from the attic.

Blunt as a thump and headaching as static.

In the women's satchel held a cross and bible torn and drenched.

A crucifix and holy water wound around her neck she tightly clenched.

Both pairs of eyes glued to the ceiling floor.

Betwixt at this and nothing more...

Calm again and settled face. Suddenly the child's gone without a trace.
