Since the start of the pandemic, this quarantine thing happened, which meant no more work to do.

You got to relax and have more time for yourself compared to the days when you still had work. Your once pale, and stressed-looking face was now healthy-looking. But as the time flew by, quarantine's starting to get on your nerves and make you lose your sanity.

It's been a month or two already, and you surely missed the one person that always made you smile - Zachary.

Zachary was the love of your life. It sounds so cheesy as it may seem, but it's true. You and Zach had been in a relationship for over 6 years already, and everything was just perfect. He was a really nice and sweet guy, who cared for you and loved you more than anything in the world.

He also helped you in coping up with your stress, anxiety, and all of your problems.

Now that the pandemic happened, Zach and you were separated. Before all of this even happened, he decided to go back home and settled a problem with his family. But he was caught up with the pandemic.

And you? You were in New York.

Not wanting to waste any more time slacking off, you decided to facetime Zach.

"Honey!" Zach said. You missed him -- his smile, his hugs, and just generally him.

You almost let a stray tear fall.

You were never this emotional, but seeing his face and hearing his voice again made you cry in joy.

You hadn't seen him for months already.

"Awe (Y/n) honey, why are you crying?" He asked, concern laced his tone and he had a sad smile on his face. He also pouted and did a few cute and silly faces in attempt to cheer you up. You chuckled.

"I just miss you, Zach. I haven't had anyone to help me with my problems lately and I'm the only one in the apartment," You said. "It's quite lonely here, but this is for the best."

"I missed you too, (Y/n). So much." Zach said.

You two talked for hours and hours, catching up on each other for the last two months because of quarantine. You got to talk to his family, and... mostly him.

"Zach, I'm kinda sleepy. I gotta hit the hay for a bit," you chuckled. "Bye, hon. Talk to you later!"

"Bye (Y/n)! I'm gonna miss you." Zach said. You smiled in response.

"We're gonna get through this, and we're gonna see each other again soon. I love you!"
