After a few minutes of driving, we finally saw something ahead. The building looked like the barn we went to one time. And Cassandra almost puked her guts out! Hahahaha!

Apparently, I started giggling a little too loud. Cassandra noticed and so did 10k.

"What are you laughing about y/n," Cassandra

"Nothing. Just remember the time we went to a barn on that one school trip," I snickered at her which made her go wide eye

"No! Y/n! Don't you tell anyone about it!" Cassandra begged me

"What happened," 10k asked and I just gave Cassandra the look

"Well, we all went on a school trip. On this specific trip we went to a farm. When we went to the cows first, and Cassandra almost puked her guts out-" I started but couldn't finish because Cassandra put her hands over my mouth

"Y/n! Don't tell him!" Cassandra hissed. I looked at her then at 10k, then right back at her.

"It can't be so bad. Did I ever tell you what Y/n at the beginning of the apocalypse," Doc laughed which caused me to go wide eyes

"Oh? I gotta hear this," Cassandra said with an evil smirk

"Well, when the apocalypse happened, she got drunk. It was a really bad drunk. But anyway, she started stripping and started hugging a tree. Calling the tree, Jaggery," Doc started laughing his guts out

Now that embarrassed me. I promise you, my face was redder than a tomato. I looked at Cassandra. She was laughing her brains out. Then I looked at 10k, well he looked embarrassed too. I wonder why.

"Doc! I thought we made a deal," I said looking at him and slapping him over the head

"No can do," he laughed back. Damn it Doc.

"Well, we're here. I was hoping for more," Charlie said getting out of the truck

"One of these days you'll learn to stop hoping," Murphy said being a smartass he was born to be

"You better hope we don't leave your ass on the side of the road," Warren threatens to pull out her gun

"Stop! Who goes there!" A man's voice yelled. I'm too tired for this

So I just sat down and laid against 10k's legs.

"Sergeant Charles Garnet, National Guard. This is Lieutenant Roberta Warren also nation guard," Charlie started but was rudely cut off by the man with the gun

"State your business," The man demanded

"We are on a mission, we have to get this man to the CDC lab in California. We need to see the general," Charlie stated

"The general has a command over the and a war to fight. Why would he want to see a raggy group like yourselves," the man said rudely

"Raggy! I'll show you," I said pulling up sleeves, but eventually being pulled back down by 10k

"Nothing raggy-ass about this group, sir," Warren said, sounding annoyed, "and this man has important information about the zombie virus."

With that, the man with the gun started down the stairs. And he called us raggy ass. Has he looked in the mirror lately?

"They smell like a damn Z," the man said looking at me and Murphy

"You don't smell too good yourself, horse ass," Murphy replied

"Are you going to help us or not," I finally said annoyed at this guy

"You wanna see the general? You gotta pay a contribute," the annoying man finally said

"What kind of contribute?" Charlie asked looking at Warren then back at the man

I bet they have  history. They seem a little too close to be friends. Oh well. It's the damn apocalypse, either we die of STDs or the zombie virus. And I chose STDs or aids.

"Our doctor has been MIA for over a year. We medicine, Antibiotics," the man said. He's too jumpy. He probably wants some sort of drug.

"I'll get my bag," Doc said.

I turned around to grab his bag. But first I looked to see if he had any liquor. Nope, just my luck. Doc went to the truck and reached out for his bag. I nicely handed it to him.

"Doc, be careful, this guy is acting suspicious," I whispered to him. He nodded a 'yes' and went in his way. We're gonna regret this later on.

"Okay. I got aspirin, tetracycline, and cipro. Pretty much can knock out any infection," Doc said while digging though his bag, waiting for him to make his pick.

Come on. Hurry up man. We don't have all day. Literally.

"And OxyContin," Doc said slowly. Like he didn't want to mention it to him

"Oxy! We need pain killers," the man finally said sounding oddly excited

"10k, bet you how much he downs the whole oxy," I whispered to 10k who smiles at me and goes back to watching the whole thing go down. Damn, his smile is like an angel's.

Doc pulled out a little baggy and gave the man one small pill.

"Do you want to see the general or not," the man said still holding out his hand

"This is our last of supplies!" Doc said upset but the man wasn't giving in.

Doc finally gave him three more pills, the ass hole just downed all of them in one go!

"Called it," I said hitting 10k's knee

During this time, the man was like cracking his head back and a forward. It was nasty. He reminded me of someone in a movie. Where the person cracks their necks after they reveal they're a mutant! Then bam! Next thing you know, they're crawling on ways and shit! Hahaha, yeah that one.

"The general may see you now," the man said after he was done with his whole breaking his neck thing.

Charlie followed the man up the stairs. Which if I may say, wasn't smart, then a deep voice came on the speaker. Damn, kinda reminds of that one YouTuber, CorspeHusband.

"What the hell do you want?! You're wasting my time!" The voice said rudely. Is everyone here rude?

"Um general, this man says he has the secret to the zombie virus and is requesting you're permitted to use your helicopter," the man who downed all of the oxy docs gave him in one go said

"Is sweet Jesus with them?" The intercom voice asked

"I don't believe so," the creepy-ass possessed army man said in a smartass tone

"Then tell them to go to hell. I don't have time for this! I have a war to fight!" The general said still being a smartass

"You heard the general," the army man said which pissed Doc off.

"Hey! I have half of mind to make you cough up my OxyContin!" Doc threatens while grabbing the man's shirt

"My money's on doc," I whisper to Cassandra who just playfully slap me

"Doc, calm down. We will-," but before Charlie could finish, the general spoke again

"Did you say Doc? As in doctor?" The general asked

"No shit-," I started but Murphy put his nasty hand over my mouth to shut me up.

"Yes. As in Doctor," Charlie said which made the general change his tone

"Why did you say so sooner? Send him up here, we got a man wounded," the general said before getting off the com.

"You heard the man," Charlie said signally us to come on but was stopped by the man in uniform

"Only the doctor," he said pushing Charlie back

Charlie looked but at Doc then at the man. I could tell he's thinking of a plan. I wonder what it will be. Hopefully, it won't get us killed.  But knowing Charlie...

"Fine! But remember, help the man then ask for the helicopter," Charlie told Doc which in turn shook his head yes

"Bye! Doc! Wish you luck," I yelled waving.

As doc disappeared into the elevator, all I could say is, this probably won't end well. Too bad I didn't know how true that statement was.
