Chapter 33 - The Spirit World part 1
Hollis POV
I dreamed about the possibilities with being a great Water wizard. I woke up because I had a difficult breathing. I trembled realizing water was filled in the room like a fish tank. Nelson and Peter quickly swam to the door and opened it then the water finally escaped.
"What the heck Nelson?!" Peter said angrily.
"It wasn't me" Nelson sighed.
I stared at them glaring at me, "I didn't do it on purpose" I smiled nervously.
"We know" they sighed.
They looked at me closely.
"Something is wrong with your eyes" Peter smiled nervously.
"Nothing is wrong with my eyes! Pfft......it must be the light" I laughed nervously.
"Your eyes are completely white and shinning" he glared at me.
"No....it's not" I smiled innocently.
I quickly covered my mouth when I realized I sounded different.
"You can't be a great Water wizard" Nelson froze staring at me.
"I'm not" I said walking backwards from them.
"Ms. Ekitai" he said boldly.
"Yes student" Ms. Ekitai voice came out of my mouth.
"You are one! I have to tell the school principal" he said angrily.
"Please don't!" I wined hugging his legs.
Peter sighed glaring at him, "Hollis is hiding it for personal reasons, we should leave him alone" he said folding his arms.
"Thanks Peter" I smiled.
My dad came in the room without knocking. They stared at him trembling.
"Who is this man?" they sighed.
"My father" I said while dad messed up my hair.
"He looks like some warrior in a business suit" Nelson smirked.
"Sorry for interrupting your teenage lives" dad bowed.
"Dad...what are you doing?" I whispered.
"I'm being formal like in Koneko Tribe" he smiled softly.
"I knew it! You are from Koneko Tribe" Peter said shaking me.
"But.....isn't Koneko Tribe getting independence? He wouldn't need to be hung" Nelson sighed.
"True, sorry Hollis" Peter smiled nervously.
"It's okay" I glared at him.
"It doesn't look you are okay" he laughed nervously.
Dad chuckled patting my back, "My son skipped so much training he looks so weak" he laughed.
"Because the trainer teases me" I mumbled.
"Because you kept running away when he told you to kill an animal" he glared at me.
"Well....at Yōso Academy I don't need to hunt for my food" I smiled proudly.
"But I saw you are the river near the school grabbing fishes out of it" Peter sighed.
"Shh!" I covered his mouth.

Rain POV
Nadia and Mrs. Magi showed me in the vice principal office my school files.
"Rain, your mother was an expert with spirits" Mrs. Magi said in a serious tone.
"Yea, but people think she's a fraud" I sighed.
My mom helped some great wizards to investigate a quest of people being possessed. She solved it than 'helping' and because they wanted the credit they lied she could see them and control them. Ever since that day she's an alcoholic. I came to Yōso Academy to escape seeing her pain but it still haunts me.
"Do....you know anything about spirits?" Nadia asked.
"Yeah, but I don't like using it or people will treat me like my mom" I spoke softly.
Mrs. Magi closed the doors and windows, "Try to show us something" she smiled softly.
"Fine" I said taking out my mom's whistle.
I blew in it and some spirits appeared surrounding us.
"You can definitely help us!" Nadia smiled holding my hand.
"With?" I said raising my eyebrow.
"Hollis, needs to be 'fixed' and we need to go to the spirit world" she smiled nervously.
"The spirit world is very dangerous and can affect your own spirit" I said boldly.
"How?" Mrs. Magi asked.
"My dad is in a coma for the past 5 years because his spirit was taken by another" I said rubbing my arm, "my mom saved his body before the spirit could take his body" I sighed.
"Oh....I'm sorry" Nadia spoke softly.
"It's the consequences of being involved in the spirit world" I said folding my arms.
"Well....will you help?" she laughed nervously.
"Yeah" I smirked.
Mrs. Magi opened her doors and windows back and allowed me and Nadia out of the office.
~🎆~
I looked at Hollis situation. He seemed to be 'glitching' like Nadia said.
"We need to go fast" I said becoming very worried.
"I'll come" he said boldly.
He seemed to be in pain and held my hand tightly.
"You can't" I said in a serious tone.
Nadia helped him back into his bed. He breathed heavily and sweated a lot.
"Hollis please hold on" she said as tears ran down her cheeks.
"Of course I....will stay for you Nadia" he struggled to talk.
He seemed frozen but still breathing.
"Hollis?" she shook his body.
No answer.
"Hollis?!" she cried harder.
I examined his body, "His spirit isn't here...." I spoke softly.
"We need to get him back!" she cried on my shoulder.
"We will" I slowly hugged her.
I saw Hollis freaking out in his spirit form.
"Your lucky you went taken away" I sighed.
"What?!" he became frightened.
She smiled nervously wondering who I was talking to.
"I can see his spirit, you can't" I said shaking my head.
"You saw him?! Tell him I'll make so much fried fishes for him" her eyes sparkled.
"I don't like fry fish" he sighed.
"He said he doesn't like fry fish" I smiled nervously.
"It is him!" she screamed hugging herself.
He sighed looking at his cat ears and tail, "Why they had to appear?" he slapped his forehead.
"Because that's the real you" I smiled.
He blushed extremely when he realized his clothes were his traditional clothing.
"Too exposing?" I chuckled.
"Stop" he glared at me.
I smiled patting Nadia's back, "Tomorrow we will go to the spirit world and help Hollis" I smirked.
"Sure" she smiled.
