Chapter 28 - The Revolution? part 2
Hollis POV
Geez....it's my Shishia making me feel so pissed off with everything...
I sighed holding my messy hair and tied it into a ponytail. I sat on my bed and looked at dad's old pictures.
"You look like your father with that ponytail" mom laughed silently.
"It keeps growing" I sighed.
"It's cute on you" she smiled softly.
"How does dad fight with this?" I chuckled.
"Well he said it makes him look badass and his beard" she winked.
"Well....he's right, but I think short hair is more fitting for me" I smiled nervously.
"Please keep it for the ceremony" she begged bowing before me many times.
"Fine" I laughed.
"You will look so much like your father," she screamed hugging herself, "I'll get your clothes and make sure the ritual is perfect"
"Mom....it's a long time I have worn those type of clothing," I laughed nervously, "I'll feel weird and...."
"You have to" she smirked.
"Can I wear a t-shirt over it?" I glared at her.
"Nope" she smiled proudly.
Time skipped....
I held on a curtain nearby and resisted mom dragging me into the bathroom to change me into Koneko Tribe usual clothing.
When I entered Yōso Academy, I realized that our clothing is a bit exposing, no shoes just a decorative cloth tied to one of your legs to protect you from bad spirits and some old cloth wrapped around your waist.
Nadia smiled nervously looking at me in the clothes mom forced me to wear.
"You look like those Africans from my world" she laughed nervously.
"Huh?" I became confused.
"Never mind," she sighed, "I love your ponytail" she smirked.
"I can't let Jayson see me like-"
Jayson smirked using the capturing moment spell on me, "I'm going print these" he laughed.
"Don't!" I wined trying to break his spell.
"I'm friends with the Koneko Tribe Cat village Chief son" he chuckled.
I glared at him while my ears drooped.
"Jayson he had enough" Nadia laughed.
"It's not funny guys, I need to get over with this ritual and-"
She smiled making a mark with red paint on my forehead.
"Nadia, that's against the rules!" I said freaking out and tried to wash off it but it wouldn't completely come off.
"What's going to happen anyways?" Jayson laughed.
"Many things, many dark spirits will appear and the gods will be angry" I trembled.
"Wow.....this society is so...gullible and....weird" they smiled nervously.
"It's true, it happened to Katsuko's brother. It was predicted it was going to be sunny then it RAINED" I said doing dramatic movements.
"I'm so scared" he rolled his eyes.
"Hollis, if the Koneko Tribe gets independence I think we might have to work on your myths and rituals" she sighed.
"Why, aren't they true?" I said blinking many times looking at them.
"Your society is way behind....that's why Jayson's family took over this place" she said folding her arms.
"That reminds me, my dad is coming here, I'll be back....I'm going to talk to him" he said waving to us then ran out of my room.
"Now Hollis lemme just....." she smiled innocently poking my abs.
"Stop!" I trembled.
"Come on Hollis" she smiled creepily.
"Nadia, stop freaking me out" I smiled nervously.
"You are literally almost naked, we can't make that go to waste" she said rubbing her hand against my arm.
"Nadia stop before I report you for rape" I glared at her.
She laughed rolling on the floor, "You are so innocent!" she laughed harder as her nose bled.
I sighed glaring at her.

Jayson POV
I folded my arms not looking at my father. He rode his horse and stopped beside me.
"That so called Prince rebelling," he said angrily, "we should be the royal family around here"
"No father, these people chose his father and he's to take the chief staff" I sighed.
"Son, what happened to what I taught you?!" he grabbed my hand.
"That was crap" I said boldly.
"Don't you dare become like your mother" he said in a serious tone.
"She is a good person otherwise than you!" I said clenching my fists.
Mum came on her white horse and looking at us, "I hope you too aren't arguing again" she said folding her arms.
"No....mum" I sighed.
"Derek, leave Jayson alone. He's being a sweet boy like what I taught him" she sighed.
"These are animals not people and he's friends with the Prince!" he exclaimed.
"So?!" I stamped my foot.
"How did meet him?" she smiled softly.
"Uh......I met him here when I was younger" I smiled nervously.
That was partly true as I remembered seeing Hollis at a river by himself.
I ran away from my dad when he forced me to watch a Koneko Tribe citizen being beaten to death. I cried at a river and looked at the beautiful water.
Hollis appeared carrying some wood. He stopped staring at me then dropped the wood and hid in a bush.
"I'm not going to hurt you" I said wiping my tears.
He trembled walking closer to me.
"What's your name?" I smiled softly.
He pointed at his throat and showed me five fingers.
"Oh...you are 5 years old, you can't talk yet" I smiled nervously.
He nodded as his ears moved rapidly. He smiled grabbing a stick and wrote his name in some mud.
"Ho....Hollis" I read.
He giggled nodding his head.
"Why is your hair so long?" I asked.
"It's because of tradition, when I grow up I'm going to cut it without my mom knowing" he wrote in the mud.
"For a 5 year old you know a lot of words" I laughed.
He laughed sounding like a kitten. I watched his tail move while he drew some famous places in Koneko Tribe.
"Pretty!" my eyes sparkled while I looked at a building he drew.
He quickly ran back for the wood he was carrying. I became frightened staring at his father with a lot weapons.
"Son, let's go" he said in a serious tone.
"Sir, I wasn't hurting him" I said bowing before him many times.
"I know," he laughed, "it's just this boy keeps running away from his training" he sighed messing up Hollis hair.
"Dada....." Hollis spoke softly.
"He talked!" I smiled.
"He's only saying mama, dada, yes and no" his father chuckled.
Hollis jumped on his back and made some cat sounds to his father.
"Oh...understand," his father laughed nervously, "my son said if you will be okay if we carry you home?"
"I don't want my daddy to kill you" I spoke softly.
"Trust me, we are very fast and good at hiding especially my son when he sees other people" he smirked.
"Fine" I chuckled.
I looked at Hollis and he smiled showing me a weird stuffed toy.
"Hollis you are too old for that" his father sighed.
"No" Hollis pouted.
Back to present day.....
"Jayson!" dad tried to get me back to reality.
"Father" I glared at him.
Mom shook her head riding her house to one of the shops. Dad folded his glaring at me.
"Do as I say from now on" his eyes shun.
"You are seriously putting a spell on me?!" I said angrily.
I fell to my knees feeling very weak.
"I'm sorry" he sighed.
