Hollis POV

I found Nadia in the gym alone at night. She was really focus controlling fire to the handmade opponents.

"Nadia-"

"Sorry, I'm focusing now" she said in a serious tone.

"You really want to become like your mother" I chuckled.

"She's awesome, who wouldn't want to" she sighed.

"The exams are going to be tough....especially your mother is going to be watching you" I said looking at her worriedly.

"Yeah" she said with a bored expression on her face.

"Nadia, talk to me!" I wined.

"I am" she smiled nervously.

"I want....you know, crazy Nadia" I mumbled blushing extremely.

She sighed looking showing me her back without her top. It had burnt marks and scars.

"Fire wizards don't get burnt" I became frightened.

She slowly put on back her top and was really quite.

"I'm half human so I will get burnt by my opponent in the exam" she finally spoke.

"Then don't do it!" I held her hand.

"That would stop me from achieving my dreams" she said smiling to herself.

"I can't let you get hurt out there" I held her hand tighter.

"You have mom's same reaction," she sighed, "I will be fine as long as I train enough" she kissed my cheek.

She continued training not paying me any attention. I ran out of the gym and tried to talk to Mrs. Magi.

"Mrs. Magi!" I shouted knocking her door.

She came out with a face mask and two slices of cucumber on her eyes, "What?" she sighed.

"You can't let Nadia Toski fight" I said.

"Then how's she going to the next grade Mr. Wagner, is there a reason why? She can't be human" she chuckled.

I remembered Mrs. Toski didn't tell anyone except me and my teammates that Nadia's father is human.

"Never mind, miss" I spoke softly.

"No humans from earth are at Yōso Academy, those living beings are so pathetic" she laughed.

I clenched my fists growling at her.

"Mr. Wagner is something wrong?" she smiled nervously.

"Everything is fine" I glared at her.

"Mr. Wagner...." she laughed nervously.

The school cheered on me and my other schoolmates doing the exam in the school 'exam' hall. Basically opponents have to fight each other until one is pushed out of the red circle.

I looked at Jayson glaring at his opponent Trevor Thomas. He's known as the best Metal wizard in the school.

"Jayson..." I smiled nervously.

"Shhh......I'm showing him not to mess with me" he sighed.

"Cool cool" I said backing away from him.

We sat in the reserved seating area and watched some schoolmates fight each other. Elisa, Karma and Julee won their exams, sadly Jayson lost but he passed for giving a good fight as Mrs. Magi said.

"Blaire!" Elisa screamed cheering on Blaire as she entered the exam hall.

Blaire trembled looking at Saffron.

"Saffron will go easy on you" Saffron smiled nervously.

"Please do" Blaire sighed.

Saffron smirked controlling strong winds at her. Blaire struggled blocking them.

"Blaire!" Jayson shouted looking at her worriedly.

"Cool down Jayson...she's okay" Karma sighed.

Blaire cried trying to control her powers but only very weak winds went towards Saffron.

"Sorry, Blaire" Saffron said materializing her staff, "Tornado!" she created a tornado and controlled it to Blaire.

Blaire came out the red circle and fell to her knees. The crowd cheered on Saffron.

Mrs. Magi sighed writing down the results, "Ms. Blake....I need to see you after school" she said looking at Blaire worriedly.

"Yes miss" Blaire sighed struggling to stand on her feet.

The announcer called Nadia and Zander Garvey to the exam hall. He smirked looking at her smiling at him.

She's still friendly to anyone....

"Mrs. Toski daughter....too easy" he chuckled.

"I think you underestimated me" she smirked.

The bell rung and he controlled large amounts of fire at her and she avoided them smiling at him.

"That's right Nadia, do what I taught you!" Mrs. Toski shouted from the honourable people seating area.

Everyone stared at her and she smiled nervously sitting down slowly.

Nadia was caught off guard by Zander. He grabbed her hand with his hand surrounded with fire. She struggled taking the pain.

"Fire wizards are not suppose to feel pain by fire" he laughed.

I tried to stop him but Mrs. Toski reached there before me and pushed him away from her.

"Mrs. Toski!" Mrs. Magi became frightened.

He looked at Nadia angrily. She cried hugging her mother tightly.

"Mrs. Toski, stop this madness!" Mr. Mizu, a great Water wizard said angrily.

"She can't fight anymore!" Mrs. Toski said in a serious tone.

"Why?! She's a Fire wizard, she wouldn't feel pain or get burnt marks from fire" Mrs. Magi said.

"Because she's half human!"

The crowd became quite staring at Mrs. Toski.

"That can't...be possible" Mrs. Magi mumbled.

"I...married someone from earth" Mrs. Toski sighed.

Everyone is the crowd except me and my teammates gasped.

"Mrs. Toski, you know that you can't do that" Mr. Mizu glared at her.

"You can't tell me what to do Arlin" she glared at him back.

"This is why I hated you when we were teammates" he acted like a spoilt child.

"Wussy!" she stuck out her tongue at her.

Everyone smiled nervously at them.

"They are the great Fire and Water wizard everyone" Jayson sighed.

Mrs. Magi carried Nadia to the nurse office and I followed them. I help Nadia into one of the nurse's beds. She cried as I surrounded her hand with healing water.

"Hollis that hurts" she wined.

"Your hand needs to get better" I sighed.

"I'm sorry for making you worried" she patted my head.

"It's okay" I mumbled.

She came closer to me and kissed me on my lips, "Hollis" she spoke softly.

I blushed extremely laying beside her on the bed. She smiled scratching me below my chin. I purred rubbing my head under her arm.

"I forgot my exams!" I smiled nervously running out of the nurse office.

"Good luck" she said waving at me.

"Yeah" I chuckled.
