Ren POV

"What?!" I screamed angrily, looking at Nadir looking way older from head to toe.

"It's just a spell. I casted it and-"

"For what?! To get more respect or to be treated not like a kid" I interrupted his new deep voice.

His ears drooped while he pouted, looking at me. "I just wanted to-"

"Save it Nadir, you are in big trouble if your old man finds out" I sighed.

I smirked at Hollis with his mouth widen as he looked at Nadir. He threw a pen into Nadir's head.

"That hurt, dad" Nadir wined.

Hollis looked like he had seen a ghost after Nadir said dad instead of daddy. "What....in the gods happen?" he trembled.

"It's just a spell" Nadir smiled nervously.

"We must break it!" Hollis grabbed his hand and ran away with him.

Rain chuckled, shaking her head. "I'm the one who can't manage my child growing up"

"You are way-"

"Mr. Guinevere, no one was talking to you" she said angrily.

"Geez...." I said, raising my hands in defense.

My eyes caught Kairi with sparkling eyes, taking pictures of the school. I ran to him and dragged him inside with me in the janitor's room.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked, shaking him back and forth.

"The school is the same after all these years" he was still lost in his thoughts.

"Kairi!"

"Ren? I didn't see you there" he smiled nervously.

"Why are you doing here?" I asked again.

He took out a paper out of his pocket and smiled, giving me it. "It's the date of the wedding" he smiled softly. A dark ora surrounded him while he grabbed my hair. "Don't miss it, little brother" he sounded deeper than usual.

"I won't" I smiled nervously.

He just walked out without telling me and skipped to Hana's office.

I thought that weird and innocent side of him was gone....

I followed him. Hana screamed hugging him and squeezing his cheeks. "You are still adorable!" she awed.

"I'm a grown man, Hana" he laughed nervously.

He ran inside of her office at amazing speed when he saw the goldfishes in her tank.

"Oh....I think I'm not taking care of them right" she sighed.

"They are just a bit hungry" he giggled, making funny faces at the fishes and they came to him but the glass separated them.

"Why Ren didn't tell me?" she pouted.

"It would waste my energy and time" I said lazily.

"Pathetic excuse" she glared at me.

Kairi sighed, glaring at me then continued observing the fishes. "I hope you come to my wedding. Oh, it's a double one with Catherine and her fiancé" he smirked.

She squealed clapping her hands then was covered in despair. "I'm still lonely" she smiled creepily.

"Sorry!" he trembled.

Time skipped....

I waved goodbye to him when he left. I turned around and saw a smiling Mia behind me. She held my hand and kissed my cheek.

"I'm going to visit my birth home for today. Please get notes for me and assignments" she whispered in my ear.

"I will" I chuckled.

Her wings appeared then she flew into a portal to her home. I felt a bit weird in my chest. The girl who invited me on a Great wizard quest and her friends waved at me. I went to them and she gave me the quest details and I noticed the blood stains on the ends of the paper.

It is....that dangerous?

Nah...

They left me when they saw Rain observing us. I smiled nervously waving at her then she glared at me with deadly eyes.

"Ren, who are they to you?" she asked.

"My....friends?" I laughed nervously.

She tried to take the quest paper from me. I moved swiftly avoiding her hand movements.

Being tall is the best....

She wined, tiptoeing trying to reach my hand with the paper stretched in the air.

"I hate you. I miss when you were younger" she sighed.

"Come on. I'm the new and improved" I smirked.

"That will get your parents in trouble and kill yourself" she said angrily.

"I can manage myself" I said boldly.

She ran immediately to Aoi when he was spotted in the cafeteria with his injured arm.

I sighed in relief then ran to Rena at the school pool. She was still frightened from what happened. My perverted self can go to far at times....it hurt her.

"Rena-"

"Go away" she sounded stuffy.

I sat beside her and saw tears running down her cheeks. She showed me a letter and I opened it.

"Rena, I still love you. I'll have you back no matter what" it said at the end.

I saw Luther's name. I threw it in the pool and she cried harder, curling up into a ball.

"Rena, Adam will make sure he doesn't-"

"No one can help me. I don't want anyone to get hurt or die. This is all my fault....I'm not real, I'm a creation and a machine" she hiccupped.

I hugged her and patted her back awkwardly. "Sis, stop thinking those stuff. I'm here, Mia and the others" I smiled softly.

I felt her shaking and heard her cries. She wouldn't stop crying that made me want to kill that guy.

"I'll protect you from him" I said boldly.

I sat beside Nadir in the library. I had to help him with writing a letter for English class. His....writing looked so crappy and he kept falling asleep that I had to slap him in the head with my book.

"I'm a fragile child!" he wined.

"Shut up and write!" I screamed angrily.

"So mean!" he pouted.

I looked at at night sky through the glass ceiling. Luckily, the librarian wasn't here. Actually it was 10pm. I can understand why his eyes were closing and he was hugging his blanket.

"You have to get use to this school environment. This isn't elementary school," I sighed. I chuckled, shaking my head. "well....it seems you act younger for a 9 year old at times"

I hesitated, hugging his legs close to his chest. "This Great wizard thing is harder than I thought. Mommy handled it way better than I do...and Ryan did a good job too" he said dryly.

I laughed, trying to ignore that he is having guilty in himself. "Come on kid, where did your confidence go?"

"Since I came here" he said coldly.

I tried to reply but he was too focused writing the letter with cold eyes. He placed his pencil down then closed his book.

"Finished" he said, folding his arms.

"Nadir-"

He clenched his sharp teeth and growled at me. "No word about this" he said angrily.

"What happened?!" I trembled.

He grabbed his thing then stormed out of the room. I saw his teddy bear laying on the ground. I took it up and saw a tag showing his parents' names. He carries this around everywhere he does.....but why he left it this time?

I found him outside crying in the school garden. "Mommy" he hiccupped.

Time to step in....

I tried to sit beside him but he kept hissing and growling at me. He stopped crying when he saw his teddy bear in my gasp. He pushed me and grabbed it away from me.

"It's mine" he shuttered.

"I know" I chuckled.

He turned away from me then hugged it tightly. Thankfully, Yōso Academy is giving us students a break for a week so he can at least be around his family again.

I started walking to my room with my hands in my pockets. He stopped me by hugging my leg.

"Can I come?" his voice became shaky.

"Yeah" I sighed.

I entered my room. Shawn and Adam were asleep. The room was very messy because of the scattered video games and Shawn's honey jars.

I changed and crawled into my bed. Nadir laid down beside me then I pushed him off. He pouted, glaring at me.

"I'll sleep on the floor then" I said, rolling my eyes.

"No, I want to sleep beside you" he said, crawling into my bed.

He purred, finding the 'perfect' spot. He giggled silently, poking my nose.

"Kid. Stop" I glared at him.

"Sorry" he smiled nervously.

He later fell asleep on my belly. We are terrible sleepers....

I woke up in the morning. It was another busy day for us students. Hollis told us not to go on any quest until the other great wizards are found.

I heard some weird noises in the kitchen. I materialized a sword out of ice.

"Come ou-"

Something or someone tiny landed on my nose. I screamed then I realized it was Mia with her wings.

"Mia, why are you so....tiny?" I smiled nervously as I placed her in the palm of my hand.

"I can't change back. I learnt this new form from my dad" she sounded so cute, puffing up her cheeks.

"Well...you look adorable" I smiled weakly, blushing extremely.

She looked red as a tomato. "T-Thanks, Ren" she shuttered.

Nadir screamed, pointing at her. "An unusual insect!"

"It's Mia" I sighed.

"That's so cute!" he giggled.

He took her from me and held her like a doll. She looked like she was struggling to breathe.

"I like this form. She looks like a cute doll" he smiled softly.

"Can't.....breathe" she coughed.

Just another day huh.....
