Hana POV

"Wonderful quest! Quest quest quest!" Catherine sang dancing to the notice board with me.

I smirked looking at a quest showing the another village in Karibukai giving us Yōso Academy students another quest. It showed blurring pictures of a creature in the sea. I glared at Catherine when I thought Mr. Wilson, the man who made those mutated fishes was responsible for this.

"Mr. Wilson is nice now" she smiled softly.

"Okay.....if you say so," I sighed, "I think you and me should go on the quest alone and if it's bad then we will call the others" I smiled nervously.

"But friendship conquers all" she pouted.

"Well we can make a strong power of friendship" I laughed.

"Sure!" she giggled.

Time skipped.....

We went to Henry to make us potions and she made a portal surprisingly.

"I'm from the highest class remember" she smiled.

"Your magic looks familiar" I said looking at the portal closely.

"I learned from my daddy" she smiled nervously.

"Who's your dad?" I glared at her.

"Um......Barney!" she laughed nervously.

"Seriously, I know you are smarter than that" I said folding my arms.

"Fine.....Jayson Lawrence" she sighed.

"I knew it! I mean the accent and all" I smiled proudly.

"I didn't want to bloody tell anyone" she said looking scary.

"You got anger issues like him.....but why?" I trembled.

"Because my mommy and daddy are famous now....he said if anyone found out I would be kidnapped" she spoke softly.

"Well if you didn't know my mother was his teammate and friend" I smirked.

"Really?!" her eyes sparkled.

"Yep," I chuckled, "Let's go already and talk about more stories when we come back" I sighed.

"Yes mam!" she laughed saluting to me.

We reached at the village in Karibukai and went to the nearest beach. We sat on the sand and waited for anything to show up.

"So how was my dad when he was younger?" she asked.

"Catherine.....we need to focus" I smiled nervously.

"Oh....sorry" she said playing with some stones.

I saw some shells near the water and ran to them then tried to grab them but someone......someone's hand got it before me and went back in the water. I silently placed a shell in my hand and the person grabbed it but I grabbed his hand.

He blushed extremely when his fish tail was revealed and I stared at it.

"Merman!" Catherine screamed.

He tried to escape from me but I held his hand tighter and glared at him. He trembled not looking at me.

Awe....I'm scaring him.....

"Can you talk?" I asked.

He smiled nervously trying to understand what I was saying. He pointed at his thoat then wrote some weird letters in the sand.

"We can't communicate with him" I sighed.

Catherine smirked aiming her hands at him and her eyes shun, "He can now" he smiled proudly.

"He...hello" he whispered.

He covered his mouth and swam back into the sea.

"Wait....we won't hurt you" I said looking at him worriedly.

He blushed swimming back to us and sat in the sand near the waves. He blushed harder trembling and acting shyly, "I'm.....Kairi Guinevere and I'm 14 years old and I like seaweed treats and dolphins and-"

"That's enough information already" I laughed.

"Did I do something wrong?" he said tilting his head.

I covered my nose and shook my head. He smiled showing me the shells he took from me.

"I like collecting these for mom" he giggled.

"Awe!" Catherine smiled.

"Awe to you too little Ningena girl" he smiled softly.

"So.....why you have been coming to the surface many times? It's dangerous" I whispered.

"I'm trying to find my family, I lost them when I was 6 years old" he said looking at my hair.

Oh.....

Catherine and I became worried and looked at his chain, "Nice chain" we smiled.

"Thank you for the complement" he smiled nervously looking at it, "my dad gave me when I was born....I hope to find them especially I got a weird ability"

"What ability?" we asked him.

He controlled water in circles around him while he smiled looking them, "It's beautiful huh?" he laughed.

"You are a water wizard?!" I said pointing at him making him tremble.

"Is that bad?" he asked covering his ears.

"No....it's not but-"

Catherine turned his tail into legs, "Yay, you can come with us!" she giggled.

"Catherine don't do that without asking!" I said shaking her.

He blushed extremely hiding behind a rock. We blushed realizing he was naked. I went to a villager and asked for a large towel. When I came back with it he stared at it and observed it.

"This is pretty" he smiled softly.

I wrapped it around him and he walked weird while I held his hands to support him. He fell and got back up.

He has a good quality of not giving up.....

"We will find your family" I smiled nervously.

"Thanks you nice Ningena, what's your name?" he said observing my hair.

"Hana, Hana Yasei" I smiled.

"What a beautiful name!" his eyes sparkled.

"You are sweet" I laughed.

"Than-"

He fell again but on his face. He smiled giving me a thumbs up.

"This is going to be a long day" Catherine sighed.
