M.E.G.A Link ZX is a stage wich is only available in life-or-death situations. The subject experiences extreme pressure and pain before temporarily fusing with the holding biometal, the cyber-elf taking over the subject's mind for a temporary period of time. At this point of the transformation, the subject enters in a trance similar to being unconscious, unable to remember what happened during said time. The subject is supposed to detransform after the danger is over, still in the unconscious stage, and is determined to wake up in between a few hours to three days. In extreme cases, the subject may not return to it's normal human/reploid stage after such transformation.
