Saturday

I ran to the front door. "I'm going to be late."

Airi yawned from behind me. "What's the rush?"

"I start work today. I work all day." I put my shoes on.

"Oh yeah you're working at that coffee shop."

I stood up. "Yeah and I need to leave now or I'll be late for my first day."

15 minutes later, at the coffee shop.

I stepped into the shop. "Hi, I'm here."

The old man behind the counter smiled. "Welcome. Uehara, come out here."

"Uehara?"

Hisashi came out of the back.

I sighed. "Fudge."

"Haruna."

"Hisashi. Guess we're working together huh?" I rolled my eyes.

"Well show her the way." The old man walked into back.

Hisashi walked over to me with an apron. "Are you mad at me?"

"You care why?" I took the apron and tied it on.

"Because you're my friend."

"Yeah, that's it." I pulled my hair up into a bun and walked behind the counter.

"What?" Hisa seemed confused.

"It doesn't matter obviously." I washed my hands in the sink.

"Don't be like that, you're acting like my brother." Hisashi spoke.

"We're at work, can we not do this here?" I started prepping stuff.

"You're mad because I left last night." Hisashi said.

I glared at him. "Fight me."

"I will and I'll win, you know that." His smiled a bit.

I rolled my eyes.

Timeskip

I stepped out the door of the coffee shop. and started walking. Hisa was behind me.

"So are you going to talk to me?" He asked.

"I don't know, what are you planning on talking about?" I asked.

"You."

"What about me?" 

"Why did you kiss me last night?"

I stopped dead in my tracks. "I..."

"You're in love with me, that's why you left. I told you that I liked Yuri and that's why you went to America. I pushed you away." His looked as if he had finally figured out everything in his life.

I crossed my arms and started walk again. "Your claim has no basis."

"The hell it doesn't." He grabbed my arm.

"You're wrong." I pulled away from him.

"No, I'm not."
