I guess most would say opposites attract, and then look at Otabek and Yurio and think twice. Boy are they wrong.

Otabek seems very calm and collected, like a dad. He is never disheveled looking publicly and never loud and unruly. He keeps to himself and is quiet and polite, if not accidentally blunt. Yurio is not calm, and not collected. He is very loud and opinionated and often is rude and violent. He doesn't really speak with respect that often, and is unreasonably honest.

Yurio is also a morning person. He gets up easily and hates the taste of coffee, and keeps his room completely spotless at all times no matter what. it's like immaculately clean. like eat a 7 course meal off the floor clean. An punctuality wise, as i've stated before he just like is never late no matter what. like he's always 30 minutes early or more.

Otabek is a fucking lowkey mess. You can't see his floor most of the time and he literally never does the dishes or his laundry. He absolutely refuses to dust so Yurio's allergies in his apartment go crazy. Not to mention he is a fucking pain to wake up. Like you have to pour ice cold water on him, remove his sheets, and physically drag him to the shower and force a couple cups of coffee so he'll brush his teeth on his own. He's also literally never been on time to anything. like at all. Ever. His school detentions for tardiness almost got his expelled. His coaches figured out how to beat him though. They just tell him to be there at an earlier time so that 3 hours later when he decides to show up he's more or less on time to the competition.
