Case 4 - Profession

One week passed and Jessica would always see Yuri at breakfast every morning . Then Yuri would go back in her room and stay there all there till dinner time , to eat steak .

And Jessica would go to he riches' houses to serve as a private doctor when she receives work calls .

Jessica came to the dining room , no tea , no Yuri .

Then suddenly a noise came from Yuri's room . The sound of a mini explosion .

Jessica carefully ran up back to the second storey and went into Yuri's room without permission .

Jessica couldn't see a thing .. the smoke was blinding her .

Then she heard the window opened , and gradually the smoke escaped the room .

And there was Yuri . Yuri with dust all over her face and suit , just like the first time Jessica met her .

Their eyes met and Yuri walked to Jessica and dusted off some dust from her shoulders.

" This French dress might need alittle bit of washing later . " Yuri said and flashed her infamous smile .

Jessica snorted . And that was when she realised the interior of Yuri's room .

The sides of the room were lined up with shelves piled with books of all genre , all kinds of science equipments and a collection of windpipes.

Right in the middle of the room was a table , topped with an asparatus which cause the smoke earlier on .

Lastly , most shockingly , there was a coffin in the room .

" What is this place ! " Jessica exclaimed .

Yuri took off her jacket and shook the dust off .

" My humble room . " Yuri said ,trying to be funny but Jessica didn't appreciate it .

" Where do you sleep ! " Jessica asked , still looking horribly shocked .

Yuri walked to the coffin and gave it a pat .

" Right here . I'm working on how can a coffin preserve a body and manipulate the time of death . And when I lay inside I think from the perspective of the dead . How interesting haha !"Yuri said casually and Jessica widened her eyes .

Yuri chose a windpipe from her collection and lit it .

Jessica walked to the coffin and threw the pillow in it aside , then looked at Yuri seriously .

" Yuri Holmes. Just what is your profession ? " Jessica asked .

Yuri smiled.

" Just your average detective . " Yuri said and put the windpipe in her mouth .

Case 5 - Steak

Jessica sat at the dining table , her eyes intensely following Yuri , who's wearing as apron , pan frying some steak .

Yuri plated the steak ,served it , took off her apron and sat opposite Jessica .

" Why are we having steak for dinner everyday ? " Jessica asked grumpily.

Yuri smiled and poured them red wine .

" Well last summer I solved a cow stealing case at a farm and they offered me a year's supply of beef . " Yuri said and took a bite .

" Well then at least you can do a variety of dishes . " Jessica said again .

" You could do that . You know , beef stew or something . I can buy you a lacy apron . " Yuri said and gulped down a full glass of wine .

At the words of it Jessica struck her fork hard on the piece of steak and Yuri almost choked .

" I'm telling you once and for all I can't cook . If you insist , I'll make an explosion bigger than the one you caused in your room ." Jessica said fiercely .

Yuri plucked the fork out of the meat and placed it back on Jessica's hand .

" I shall not insist . " Yuri said wimpily.

" Right , did you see the newspaper today ? Next week the London Museum will host the exhibit of Sancy Stone, the gem of the century . Let's go. " Jessica said while continue eating .

Yuri took out the windpipe from her pocket and lit it .

" Sure . The real show is starting . " Yuri said and put the windpipe in her mouth .
