Chapter 2: Demon's Garden

Chapter Two: The Demon's Garden

One day I was playing in my grandmother's garden while she was cooking, even though when she specifically said to not go there. I was little back then and I had to admit I was dumb, so I went in there either way.

I went to the garden and while walking I saw a flower and I couldn't take my eyes off of it. The flower looked like a rose but the color was black and from what I know roses are red. I admired it even more and got closer. Then all of a sudden, the flower started to glow. From what I remember there was a Black/dark spirit that came out of the flower and possessed me. As it possessed me, I screamed at the top of my lungs due to how painful it was.

My Grandmother heard my screaming and went running to where I was. I saw her holding me in her hands and then I started to get dizzier by each second, it was very painful and the last thing I saw before I passed out was my grandmother crying.

I woke up and the first thing I saw was my grandmother holding my hands. When I woke up, my grandmother hugged me as tight as possible. I asked my grandmother how long I've been out and she said two weeks, thankfully I remembered what happened and I almost thought it wasn't real. She was very worried about me and she knew that this incident would happen one day, so she prepared for it.

I rested in my bed for a while before getting up and going to the bathroom. I still felt the pain, even though two weeks already passed and I should've been able to recover. I opened the bathroom door and brushed my teeth since my breath was probably bad after not brushing it for two weeks.

I looked into the mirror and saw what I thought was a picture until it started to move. I then realized it was me, it was unbelievable, my hair turned into a sky blue color and my eyes were purple. I screamed again and my grandmother came running to me. She asked me what was wrong and I told her to look at me. She wasn't very impressed by the looks of it. She told me to meet her at the living room, once I finish getting ready.

I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. I wore casual clothing and headed straight to the living room. Once I got there I saw my grandmother there and she was drinking tea. I said hello, and apologized for screaming and trespassing into her garden. She quickly forgave me and told me to sit down. Then she took out a ring and ordered me to wear it all the time. She gave me the ring and I wore it, then I saw a strand of hair turning back to normal.

I looked into a nearby mirror and I turned back to normal. I thanked my grandmother and promised to that I will never go to her garden. My grandmother believed me this time and acted normally like nothing ever happened.
