Chapter 1: Childhood Memories
Chapter One: Childhood Memories
Growing up, the only wish I wished for was to have a happy family but that wish never came true. My father left me when I was two years old, and my mother passed away when I was four so I never really had a connection with my parents. When both of my parents were gone, my grandmother took me and raised me until then.
My grandmother was very kindhearted and whenever I cried she would play the piano to make me feel better. My grandmother and I lived in a big mansion not far away from the city. My grandfather was an architecture and he designed the mansion but unfortunately, he passed away. The house to me was like a dream house and the house was the only memory my grandmother had of her husband.
When I was little I would always play in my grandmothers garden while she was making dinner. She would always get mad at me because she didn't want me to play in her garden. She didn't want me to go there nor play there, she didn't care whether her plants will be ruined she cared because she always said it was very dangerous there. As I grew up, I didn't believe her until something happened. . .
It was the first day of kindergarten and it was recess, I was sitting alone in a swing while everyone was playing and having fun. I sat there until a boy came up to me and introduced himself. After that day, we became best friends and hang out with each other. One day, while I waited at the swing for him, he never showed up. Until that day, I never saw him again. Before he disappeared from my life, he gave me a gift. The gift was wrapped in a blue box and inside there was a picture of the two of us and a necklace.
Until then, I've always worn the necklace and even people come up to me and ask why I always wear it. I slowly started to forget about him and started to focus on my studies. Only my studies, I didn't become a nerd or anything but I study to get better grades and make my grandmother proud. Even though I spent most of my time studying, I still managed to do things in a small amount of time. My grandmother started to worry that I was pushing myself too hard but I always tell her that I'll be just fine.
