Tamarind and onion chutney
Tamarind & Onion chutney
Tamarind pulp - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1
Pudina (mint) powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin (zeera) powder - 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
Black salt - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Green chili - 1
Coriander
Sugar - 1 tsp
Water - 1 cup (adjust according to the desired consistency)
Instructions:
Take the tamarind pulp in a bowl.
Add salt, black salt, cumin powder, green chili, pudina powder, sugar, Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander, and half of the onion chopped finely.
Add the other half of the onion crushed into the bowl.
Add water as per the consistency you desire for the chutney.
Stir well, and the chutney is ready to serve
