Yugo's pov

I waited by the door as Yumi sat in her room. I heard her mummbling about something but I couldn't quite make it out. After a few minute's I grew completely concerned... Not that I wasn't already.

"Yumi, are you okay? You've been in here for hour's." I slowly open the door just a crack to reveal a silently crying Yumi. I walked up to her and sat beside her, forgetting to close the door behind me and hugged her. She quickly wrapped her arm's around me and hugged me back. I felt a pang of sadness overwhelm me as I heard her cry. I didn't notice but a small tear fell down my cheek. Yumi looked up and saw it. She quickly whiped it away with her thumb. I suddenly blushed at how close our face's were. Yumi quickly looked away as her face turned red.

"Sorry..." She said as she baried her head in my cloak against my chest. I couldn't help but lift up her chin and stare into her eye's as she stared into mine. We explored each others eye's as we slowly leaned in. I slowly closed my eyes as her's fluttered shut. I could feel her soft breath since our lip's were only centimetre's away. Our lip's were about to touch till...

"Yumi! I knew it! I told you!" Amalia did a loud fangirling scream as she saw us.

Me and Yumi quickly parted and looked away. I turned over to face Amalia... But I found Adamai standing there beside her smirking. This was a good thing AND a bad thing. Good thing is is that Adamai was too down that Amira was gone to even bother talking to any one or even smile, but since he saw this little... Ahem... Incident, he's actualy smiling again. Bad thing is he's never gonna let this go.

I stared at the two by the door as they both smirked at me and Yumi, I glanced over at her to find her face as red as a cherry. I couldn't help but think it was cute.

"So how was your little make out session?" Adamai asked as he interrupted my thought's. I felt my face heat up as I stared at him in shock. A nervous laugh escaped my lips.

"W-what t-t-t-that's c-crazy! I-I-I mean... I-it wasn't a-a-a m-make out s-session..." I stuttered uncontrollably as my flustered face lit up like a lightbulb. Adamai couldn't help but break out laughing as Amalia just chuckled.

"So... Did you enjoy the moment while it lasted?" Amalia stared at Yumi expecting an answer. I turned to her to find her mouth agap.

"W-what do you mean? I-I-I don't know what you talking about." She stuttered as well... But not as much as me. We were both sitting on the bed side by side with flustered face's as red as tomato's.

"Oh my Sadida! I can't wait to tell Eva!" And with that Amalia dashed out of the room.

"Oh no you don't!" Yumi jumped up and made a portal, jumped through and within second's I hear tackling and banging... And a bit of random cat cries down the hall as the noise travels down the stairs down to the main dining room.

Adamai slowly scooted out of the room without me noticing till the last minute. "Wow, wow, wow! Where do you think your going?" He quickly popped into his Tofu form and took off. I raced after him with my portal's.

Yumi's pov

I sat at one side of the table as Yugo sat at the other. Every few minutes we'd look up at each other at the same time, EVERY time. Once we make eye contact we start blushing dramatically and stare down at the table again. I don't know why I'm acting like this. I was used to kissing Yugo, wasn't I? But this Yugo is... Still the same Yugo but... I don't know... It's like I'm falling in love all over again.

Ruel, Dally, Adamai and someone named Alibert were silently congratulating Yugo. Dally kept saying "I knew you had it in you!" As he slapped Yugo's back... Hard.

Yet... Amalia kept showering me with question's like "What was it like!?" Or "how much did you enjoy it!?" Or "Will it ever happen again!?". Eva just stared at Yugo making face's that are sapost to be silent talk or something, signaling him to at least say something to me.

I didn't pay much attention after that. I had to get Yugo out of my mind and start finding a way to find my sister. A pang of sadness hit me again as I thought about her.

It suddenly got a little colder for me and the world began to slow down.

My eye's went wide as I heard my sister cry for help. Roar's of pain escaped from her jaw as Nox poked her with needles as they left a blue glow on her scales. Those needles did something to her... I just don't know what.

My breathing quickened and my heart started to pound out of my chest out of fear. I wasn't waiting any longer and I wasn't gonna sit around waiting for the drama of the 'almost kiss' to sink in. The talking at the table came to a stop as I got up and walked away to my room.

Yugo stared at me the whole time wondering what was going on.

So oblivious.

Then suddenly he got the picture as I slammed the door behind me and walked up the stairs to my room.

I was about to open the door till a hand landed on my shoulder. I don't even bother to turn around cause I know who it is. I take a deep breath. "What do you want, Yugo."

Suddenly, but gently Yugo took his hand off my shoulder. This was probably the first time he's ever heard me or seen me like this.

"You can't go." He said as he stepped infront of me. He wouldn't let me get to my room to pack my stuff.

I look up to him with a bored expression. Quickly jump through one of my portal's and end up in my room. I cross my arm's and face him. "And why not?"

He turn's around a little surprised, I guess he's not used to seeing other people do the thing he does. He sigh's. "You... You just can't."

I put my hand's on my hip's. "Okay, so your keeping me here, away from my sister, and not letting me come with you guy's for no reason? Is that what? She's my sister. I am going no matter what." I turn around. Pick up my little bag that was about four times the size of a Tofu and pack it with essential's.

He stare's into my eye's as I stare into his. "Because I don't want you to get hurt. I don't want Nox to take you away. I don't know how I'd live with myself if he did anything to you. I..."

I my expression softened as I waited for him to answer. I probably knew what was going to come out of his mouth.

He hesitates before continuing. "I... I care about you, a lot. You mean the world to me. I..." He mumbled the last part a little embarrassed. I didn't hear him though. It left me wondering what he could have said... Could he have said... No... He just met me... Technically... I shake the thought away as I return back to now.

I walked up to him. "She's my sister. I would never leave her hanging. Plus, your gonna need all the help you can get. And there is no changing my mind." I walk around him and down the stair's as I make it to the entrance I find Dally, Eva, Amalia, Ruel, Adamai, Az, Ebu and Junior (Ruels' pet Drheller). I smile as they all have their weapons and look prepared to go on an adventure.

Adamai walk's up to me and take's my hand at the same time Yugo come's down, but Adamai didn't notice. "Are you okay?" He ask's, I shake my head and just look to the ground. He gently takes both of my hands. "Don't worry, I'll do anything to find Amira and bring her back safely."

I look up to him. "I'm coming."

Adamai let's go of my hand's. "Um... I don't think so, this is going to be a little dangerous. Me, Yugo and the others are used to this, your not exactly used to this. And..."

Yugo is now beside me and giving him a glare to not even bother continuing, cause he's gone far enough.

"Excuse me, but I can take care of myself. Now let's go before I shove you through a portal and drop you in the middle of the ocean." I stomp out as Adamai stare's at me with disbeleif.

"She's not really gonna do that, is she?" He ask's Yugo.

As if Yugo new me all his life he quickly respond's with a nod. Adamai is now very cautious about getting on my bad side, talking to me or even going near me. And I must say, I enjoyed the peace and quiet... Till Amalia started complaining about her hair.
