Third Person's POV

The chapter starts at the shopping mall filled with people and how livid the place is. The camera cuts to Yukina and Aya who's spending time together in the place.

Aya: What a good day today! Right, Yukina-chan?

Aya teased Yukina a little. They have actually planned to do this before.

Flashback...

It's another day at Yotsuba's Women University (yes, I'll be using this place for this two instead of their old high school) and right now, they just finished another class session.

Aya was at the university's park when she's alone. She simply asked her friends which is her band members to give her some time alone and they did.

The reason why is she doing this is because she wants to meet Yukina Minato, who is the vocalists of a band group named Roselia.

Aya: Ah! Yukina-chan!

She waved at Yukina who just finished chatting with Lisa that went separate ways.

Yukina: Good day, Maruyama-san.

She simply greeted Aya with her usual tone.

Aya: Actually, I have a favor to ask you.

Aya paused for a moment before she said her offer.

Aya: I was wondering if you could go to the shopping mall with me this weekend?

Aya bowed at the front of Yukina as she was a bit stunned by Aya's offer. It's somewhat seldom to see the pink-haired idol to ask the silver-haired vocalist to spend time with her.

Yukina took a moment to consider the offer and then answered Aya.

Yukina: I don't see why not.

Aya: Really?

She raised her head and looked at Yukina with passion.

Yukina: Yes. Roselia's taking a break after another live performance recently. So, I might use this free time. Not like I have anything planned in my head.

Aya: That's good! Let's meet at there at 12:00 p.m.!

Yukina: I'll be there.

She simply replied to Aya and the idol excused herself out.

Aya: I have to go now! Take care of yourself!

Yukina: You too.

With that, they went their separate ways for the day and get ready for their hangout.

Flashback ends...

Yukina: Why do you even want to spend time with me in the first place?

She asks the idol vocalist with slight confusion. It's not often that they get to spend time together not just as senior vocalist of their own representative band group, but as an average friends.

Yukina aren't irritated in the slightest to Aya when she accepted to spend time with the idol.

Sure, she has Lisa and Rinko that enrolls into the university with her. However, she thought to herself there's nothing wrong with spending someone else outside of your band group.

Aya: Well, I just wanted to know you more.

She simply replied while grinning at the silver-haired vocalist. Yukina saw no hidden intention from Aya, so she just agreed with her.

Yukina: If you say so, then fine.

Aya: I promise that I won't disappoint you!

They make a pinky promise and begin their hangout session together.

They went to check out stores excluding the video game ones since both of them aren't gamers. Trying out different clothes and swimsuits, wearing necklaces and antiques and playing crane games with both of them not having any good luck.

As they were walking through the hallway, Yukina saw an advertisement that has cats on it. She keeps staring at it in awe while not realizing that Aya's actually observing her.

Aya: Ehehe~ You like cats, right?

Yukina snapped back to reality and she answered Aya.

Yukina: N-Not really.

She tried to hide the fact that she's a huge cat lover.

Aya: No need to hide it from me.

Yukina blushed deeply because she let the pink-haired idol knew about her secret.

Aya: I take it that Roselia knew about this, right?

Yukina: Yes, they do.

Aya: Speaking of them, where are they?

Yukina: They got some urgent business to do. Sayo have to spend time with Hina, Ako and Rinko went to do NFO events and Lisa have to work today.

Aya: Eeeeh~ Didn't knew that Roselia can be really busy.

Yukina: What do you expect?

Aya: Hehe~ If you say so...

She turned away as she mumbles to herself.

Aya: Actually, I enjoy spending time with you more.

Yukina: What did you say?

Aya: Ah! I-It's nothing! Oh, yeah! Let's go to the cinema!

She changed the topic to avoid Yukina from asking what's she mumbling about.

Yukina: Why? Is there anything interesting lately?

Yukina was perplexed by Aya's antics.

Aya: I mean, isn't that what most people do when they're at the shopping mall?

She said, justifying her reasons while leaving Yukina still a bit confused.

Yukina: I-I guess you're right.

So, they went to the cinema and it's quite packed with people wanting to buy the tickets and popcorns.

Aya: I want to watch this movie.

She points at a poster of the latest movie.

Yukina: This?

Aya: From what I heard, this movie has some interesting plot and characters. Not to mention that-

Yukina: Hey, that's enough. I don't want spoilers.

Aya: Whoops, hehe. My bad.

Yukina: Let's.

They bought tickets for two and enters the cinema right after. The movie begins and they pay their attention to the movie. It turns out that Aya was right. The plot and the characters is both interesting on their own along with the storyline.

Once the movie ends, everyone clapped because of how good the movie is as they head out including the senior vocalists.

Aya: That ending is really something else! Right, Yukina-chan?

Yukina: Yeah, it is. I'm actually glad you recommend that movie to me.

She smiled to Aya and she felt happy as well.

Suddenly...

*growl*

...their stomach growls.

Aya: Ahaha, we were too busy having fun that we forgot to get something to eat.

Yukina: Well, at least you remember now.

So, they decided to get something to eat and sit at a table together.

Yukina, Aya: Let's eat!

They dig in to the food and then, Aya came up with something weird.

Aya: Here. Ahhh~

She tried to spoonfeed Yukina.

Yukina: I'm not a baby for you to feed me.

Aya: Oh, come on. Why not?

Yukina: Maruyama-san, don't you think it's a bit embarrassing?

Aya: Pretty please~ For a friend.

Aya gave Yukina the pleading eyes as she couldn't resist it. She sighed and just let Aya do what she want.

Yukina: Fine. Aaaah~

She took a bite from Aya's offer and she enjoys the food.

Yukina: Mmm, it's actually good.

Aya: Glad you liked it!

After they filled their stomach, they continue to spend the time left at the mall before eventually heading back home.

It's already night time and they walk back home together.

Aya: Thank you for accompanying me to the mall today, Yukina-chan.

Yukina: You're welcome.

Once again, Yukina simply replied and she's not being cold with her words.

Aya: I'm really glad that we get to spend time together as friends.

As Aya said that, Yukina stopped her steps and just look at the pink-haired idol.

Aya: What's wrong, Yukina-chan?

Yukina: Maruyama-san...

She struggled a bit to say what she has in her heart, but she decided to spit it out.

Yukina: Thank you... for today...

Aya: Huh?

Yukina: I don't mind being dragged by you to here and there. I actually liked it when you took the lead once.

Aya makes a reassuring smile as she approaches Yukina.

Aya: I know that you're too embarrassed to say it. I understand.

She holds Yukina's hands while showing her bright smile.

Aya: Let's do this again sometime later, okay?

She asked Yukina with her replying to Aya...

Yukina: Yeah, I would like to.

Both of them smiled at each other as they went home together for the night.

Once they went separate ways and head back to their dorm, Yukina kept thinking about Aya and how nice she is.

Yukina: I think I do want to see Maruyama-san again.

Yukina said in her heart without letting Aya notice this. Of course, she has some platonic relationship with the pink-haired idol.
