Subaru held Opal's cold body. Tears were streaming out of his eyes. Everyone was mourning of her death. Her family was devastated. Yui was depressed. The Sakamakis were mourning.

   Then it hit him. Subaru had an idea, but he knew that there was no going back. This idea of his will make a big change. Biting into his wrist, the other vampire brothers knew what will happen next. His mouth was full with blood. He places his lips on to Opal's cold lips. His blood was going down her throat.

   Miles saw what Subaru was doing. Subaru is going to turn Opal into a vampire. Miles runs forward to stop this, but Marcus and Shu stop him. Miles was trying to break free, but they were holding on to him tightly. 

"Dad, stop, don't stop this!" Marcus begged his father. 

"Are you crazy! I have to stop this!" 

"Miles!" 

   Miles turns and looks at June. 

"Our son is right, we lost my brother and Luna, but we're not losing Opal too." 

   June was right they lost Opal's parents, they didn't want to lose her too. Miles relaxes and was released from Marcus and Shu's grip. Subaru moves his lips away from Opal's. Everyone waiting. All of a sudden Opal's eyes shot open. She gasps for air, she was panting. She looks at her surroundings and sees everyone staring at her. Everyone was relived that she is alive, but as a vampire. Reiji told Subaru to take Opal back to the mansion.

Back at the mansion

  Opal was place in another guest room of the manor. Subaru and Yui stayed with her. She resting, regaining her strength back. The others were in the living room and discussing on what to do next since 

"Opal should stay with us." Reiji suggested. 

"No, we can protect her." Miles protested. 

"Reiji's suggestion is better, to protect Opal." Shu said. 

"We can't lose Opal, she's all we have." June spoke out. 

"Opal should go home."

   Everyone turns towards Ayato.

"Why do u say that, Ayato?" Kanato asks. 

"I don't know, she just belongs to her family." 

"We can't force her to stay you know." Laito pointed out. 

"Reiji sighs, "alright, we'll let Opal decide. 

Everyone went to the guest room, where Opal is resting. Reiji knocks on the door. Yui was the one to answer the door. When Yui let them in, Opal was sitting up on the bed talking to Subaru. They told Opal about their discussion and asked what is her decision. 

   Opal lets out a long sigh, "I choose to go home." 

"Why's that your choice?" Subaru asks. 

"That man is out there. He killed my parents and I want to find out who he is." 

  Everyone respected her wish and she would leave home tomorrow. Opal's family was given two rooms to stay for the night. As everyone was resting, Opal was looking at the stars at her window. She signs and walks to her bed to get some rest. As she was pulling the sheets of the bed, she heard tapping at the window. Subaru was outside of her window. She went towards the window and lets him in. 

"You could have used the door, instead of the window you know." Opal giggles. 

   Subaru grabs Opal into an embrace. She was shock at first, but returns his hug. 

"Will I see you again Opal?" 

"Of course you will. I'll come and visit, and we have night school." 

   Subaru lets go of her and cups he face. "Opal will you be my girlfriend?" 

   Opal places her hands on his shoulders, pulling him in for a kiss. Their lips finally meet. After their kiss, Opal replies, "yes I will be your girlfriend." And then they kiss again. Subaru stay with her the rest of the night.

   The next day Opal and her family left. And they all said their goodbyes. 

   Subaru was in the garden, he was grateful that he has Opal back again and he can't wait to see her again at night school. 

"Are you okay, Subaru?" He turns and sees Yui. 

"Yeah, I'm fine." He replies. 

   She walks and stand next to him. He told her that he can't wait to see his girlfriend soon.  

She smiles at him, "Yeah. She's your girlfriend, my friend and she's like a sister to me. And I agree I can't to see her when we get back to school."
