Your POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm I groaned and slammed on it shutting it off.

Y/n: ugh...it's morning already

I got out of bed and stretched and started to get ready. Got dressed in my clothes and head towards the kitchen and see a note on the table. I picked it up and It was a note from my mother I began to read it.

Dear y/n

I had to leave early I am sorry I didn't get to say good bye to you. I'll miss you deeply just make sure to call me everyday when you can. I left your favorite lunch in the microwave I'll see you when I get back.

Y/n: well I guess it's just me for now.

I made myself breakfast. I eat my food and put my dishes away. I grab my lunch from the microwave and head out the door. As I exit my house I see lulu,shay, and yuto waiting for me.

Y/n: hey guys.

They look up and see me and smile.

Lulu: hey y/n.

Shay: morning y/n.

Yuto: morning buddy.

We start walking to school after I lock the front gate of my house and we talk about new things going on. I tell them about mom leaving and me staying home by myself.

Yuto: you'd so lucky y/n.

Lulu: yeah my mom and dad wouldn't let me do that.

Shay: it's not that bad lulu.

Lulu: yes it is they still treat you the same way.

Suddenly a dark cloud appears above shays head and he slumps his head down.

Shay: your right I shouldn't have said anything.

Me, lulu and yuto laugh at his reaction as we continue walking.

It was lunch time and I see mom had made me..........

Y/n: awesome this looks good.

I sat outside and enjoyed the meal.

It was the end of school and as me, lulu, shay, and lulu walk out we see I crowd of people gathered around.

Yuto: what's going on over there.

Shay: let's check it out.

We walk up to the crowd.

Y/n: hey what going on here.

MS: there's a duel.

Yuto: who's dueling.

Fs: that kid Yuma dueling some kid named flip.

I put on my duel gazer and make my way to the front of the crowd and see that both number 17 and 39 on Yuma opponents field.

Y/n: No....way what are Yuma's monsters doing on his field?!!!

Shay,lulu, and yuto appear by my side with there duel gazers on.

Yuto: this is bad look at Yuma's opponent we look at Yuma's opponent flip and see him covered in a dark purple aura.

Shay: how did he get Yuma's monsters???

I look at Yuma's field and notice he has an Xyz monster on his field. But I then notice a trap card on his opponents field.

Y/n: oh no thats not good.

Lulu: what is it y/n.

Yuto: yeah what do you see.

Y/n: Yuma has baby trigon on his field and his opponent has ultra C.

Lulu,shay, and yuto take notice of this and their eyes go wide.

Yuto: your right not only that his opponent also has the trap card traitor fog.

Y/n: that explains how he has both of Yuma's number cards. But I have a feeling Yuma will draw the card he needs on his turn.

Shay,lulu,yuto: huh???

Time skip

Yuma had just won the duel and got both his number cards back.

I was walking home after watching the duel Yuma had. I just walked into my house and caught a pleasant smell in the air.

Y/n: MOM!!!! you home that was a fast trip.

I walk in the kitchen and see it empty and the door to the back door open along with a plate of black pasta on the table.

Y/n: that's strange.

I walk out the open door and look around nothing. I close the door and lock it.

Y/n: may be it was lulu or yuto's mom they are the only ones who know where me and mom keep the spare key. I sat down and look at the pasta. I was about to eat it when the smell brought up a memory.

Y/n: wait a minute this is squid ink pasta.

Y/n: I've only had this once when me and mom were in Italy it was good but. I know for a fact that it's really complicated to make. no way lulu and mrs. Sakaki know how to make this.

Y/n: Hmmmmm.........I should just bring this into school tomorrow and just ask lulu. But just to be safe.

I put the pasta in an extra bento lunch box and put it in my bag. I than grab a cup of ramen from the pantry and boil water.

Y/n mind: I gotta make sure I find a different hiding place for the key.

No ones POV

The water was done and you poured it into the cup and let it sit of a minute than it was done. You sit done at the table and start to eat your noodles unknown to you a pair of eyes watching you.

????: he didn't like it. Well it does not matter we will meet soon my dear.

I had just taking a bath and got in bed I closed my eyes and let sleep take hold.

You find yourself in dark void nothing to be seen for miles just total darkness.

Y/n: where am I what is this place???

You turn around and see a huge out line of what looked like a dragon.

Y/n: what in the world is that!!!

The figure roared and lunged at you.

Y/n: aaaahhhhh!!!!!

You shot up from your bed in a sweat.

Y/n: what in the world was that dream??

I look at my clock and see its night time. I lay back down and let slip close my eyes once more.

I groan and I open my eyes and look at my clock see it read..........7:30!!!!!!

Y/n: what that's the time am so gonna be late for school!!

I quickly got dressed and grab my bag and run out the door and I get on my bike I quickly open the gate and close it clocking it and I paddle as fast as I can heading to the school.

Teacher: mr. sakakai?

Yuto: here!

Teacher: mr. Tsukumo?

Yuma: here!

Teacher: mr.l/n?

There was no response. The teacher looks up from his student list.

Teacher: mr. l/n??

You burst into the classroom out of breath.

Y/n: I am here am sorry my alarm didn't go off. I am very sorry sir it will not happen again I swear.

Teacher: it's alright mr.l/n just sit take your seat.

Y/n: alright sir thank you!!!

Time skip lunch period.

You were with shay, lulu, and yuto outside the school talking.

Lulu: what happened y/n you usually never forget stuff like setting your alarm.

Y/n: yeah I know it's weird. I know I set my alarm it's strange. But this is the strangest thing check this out.

You take out the bento box from your bag and open it showing it to your friends.

Yuto: what is that??

Shay: it looks like pasta but why is it black.

Y/n: it's squid ink pasta.

Shay and yuto face's go slightly green and it look like they were about to be sick.

Yuto: that sounds gross.

Y/n: it's not that gross they mix it with special spices, herbs into the squid ink and boil it. To give it a good flavor. They even add flavored broths to it sometimes.

Shay: yeah but still who would eat something like that. Why would you make something Ike that for lunch???

Your face becomes serious.

Y/n: I didn't make it. It was on my kitchen table and the backyard door was open.

Lulu: really??

Y/n: yeah so you didn't make this lulu.

Lulu: no not me.

Y/n: thought so. I have a feeling your mom didn't stop by my house to make this right yuto.

Yuto: right.

Y/n: I was just making sure. The only question is....

Lulu: who made it.

Y/n: that's what I'd like to know.

You look back done at the box at the box. You than realized something

Y/n: wait I was to much in a rush to get to school I forgot my lunch at home!!!

Your friends fall down anime style.

Y/n: I guess there's only one thing to do

Shay: well what will you do???

You look at the pasta.

Y/n: there was only one thing to do

You take out your chopsticks and pick some up and put it in your mouth.

Lulu: y/n what are you doing!!!

You swallow the food and hang your head down.

Yuto: y/n??? Buddy you good

No reply came from you.

Shay: hey can you hear me y/n.

Lulu: is it bad???

You shot up from your seat and startled your friends

Y/n: ITS.....DELICIOUS!!!!

The school day ended and you were walking home with your friends.
You arrived at your house and said your goodbye to your friends. You walk into your house and ate the food you made for yourself. You spent the rest of your night going through your deck until it was. It was time to go to sleep.

A/n: an that was chapter 4 sorry it took so long. Also sorry there was no dueling in this chapter.
