Y/n shindou was in his room sleeping on his bed.

his mom was a famous adventurer,  archaeologist and researcher. He had been traveling with her for the last ten years and they had just gotten home yesturday.

Y/n was sleeping peacefully until his mothers voice came from behind his door.

M/n: Y/N time to get up you need to get to school it's getting late.

Y/n groaned and opened his emerald green eyes and looked at his clock.

Y/n: WHAT THATS THE TIME ALREADY!!!!

Your POV

I jump out of bed and hurriedly got changed into my school uniform. I grab my Duel-pad and deck. I open my bedroom door and run down stairs and enter the kitchen I grabbed toast as it popped out the toaster.

Y/n: bye mom see ya later.

Mom: ok be carful on your way to school.

I run out of the house with the toast in my mouth.

Time skip......with you running as you eat the toast.

I had just made it in time.

Y/n:......(phew).... I really thought I'd be late on my first day.

I walked in and went to the main office. I saw a lady sitting at a desk and she smiled when she saw me.

Lady: hello can I help you.

Y/n: yes I am y/n shindou.

Lady: ahhhh...yes the son of the famous explorer m/n shindou.

Y/n: yeah that's me.

Lady: okay let me see.....ahh here it is this is your schedule.

Y/n: thank you.

I walk out of the office and the bell just rang.

Y/n mind: I wonder how yuto,shay, and lulu are doing??

I stood outside the classroom door and knocked on it.

???: come in.

I open the door and walk in.

I see the teacher and other students looking at me.

Teacher: can I help you??

Y/n: yes I am a new student this my class.

Teacher:  ok come down and introduce yourself.

You walk up and face the other students.

Y/n: hello I am y/n....

????: wait y/n as in y/n shindou?? Is that you buddy???

I look to the person who spoke I looked in surprise and smiled at the person.

Y/n: well what's up yuto long time no see.

Teacher: you know mr. Sakaki ???

( I know it's yuya last name but yuto never had a last name in the show so I'll have him be using yuya last name)

Y/n: yes we are childhood friends.

Teacher: that makes things easier. Take a sit next to mr. Sakaki.

Y/n: sure.

I take the empty seat next to yuto and we fist bump.

Time skip duel period.

I walk out with yuto to the school yard and we put on your duel gazers

When we do we see a bunch of duels going on. We put on our duel gazers and saw the monsters appear.

Y/n: i can't wait to see shay and lulu again.

Yuto: no need here they come now.

I follow yuto's gaze and see the obsidian siblings running up to us.
they are next to us and they smile at me.

Shay: well..well...well look whose back how have you been y/n.

Y/n: how did you know it was......

I look at yuto and he just smiles.

Y/n: you told them didn't you also when and how.

Yuto: when I asked to use the restroom I sent them a quick message.

Y/n: ahhh that explains it. Also way to ruin the surprise.

We all laugh. I turn to lulu and smile.

Lulu: hey y/n long time no see great to have you back.

Y/n: it's great to be back.

You then notice a crowd of students.

Y/n: hey what's going on over there??

We run over to the crowd and make our way to to the front. We see a girl dueling a big kid wearring a cap. The kid in the cap had no cards on his field while the girl had a big jaws on her field.

( sorry if that seems Offense to overweight people ).

Girl: 2300 LP

Yuto: looks like shark is at it again

Shay: yeah and looks like bronk is her victim now.

Y/n: shark???....... you mean the girl.

Lulu: yeah she's the biggest bully in school.

Shay: yeah when she sets her eyes on someone no one escapes her.

Yuto: pluse she only uses aqua type fish monsters and most of them have shark in their name. Hence the nickname shark.

Y/n: huh......clever.

I look back at the duel.

Shark: my turn I draw.

She looks at the card she just drew and smiles.

Shark: get ready to lose dork. I summon another big jaws in atk mode now I build the overlay network.

Shark starts chanting

Shark: creature of the deep I call you to rise up from darkest part of the sea show yourself and wield your mighty lance....I Xyz summon.....black ray lancer in attack mode.

Her monster appears on the field and attacks ending the duel.

After the duel she takes the kids deck. A girl and boy run up the kid in the cap.

very short time skip

The shark girls two lackeys hold the boy down and she snapped the boys necklace I run up to them and push them off the boy.

Y/n: lay off.

They look at me and I stare them down.

They gulp and back up.

I turn to the boy.

Y/n: are you okay???

I held my hand out to him.

???:  yeah am fine Thanks.

Another time skip Saturday

We stood and wait until shark arrived.

Y/n: hey Yuma do you mind if I duel shark with you.

Yuma: why???

Y/n: because people like her should be taught a lesson.

5 minutes later shark arrives. But she's not alone she's with another girl.

Shark: ready to lose loser.

Y/n: hey shark I'll duel with Yuma I  want to teach you a lesson.

Shark: Fine by me let's make it even a tage duel let's get started get started. You ready Kirishima

Kirishima: sure.

Y/n: Let's see what you got

I put my duel disk on.

Shark: nice duel disk you got there.

Y/n: thanks now get set to get decked.

We activate our duel disk and put our duel gazers on
