Yami casually walked around in the halls of the high school he studies while female students fangirl at his sight. He was the hottest and most popular guy. Through he didn't understand much about it.

"Yugi, why am I popular?" He asked to his seem alike.

"Uh. How do I explain it to you?" Yugi tried to find the right words to form a sentence. "Well, girls like boys that are good-looking and act cool?"
He said sounding more a question.

"Why? They should like someone by their personality, what is inside. Not the looks." Yami said.

Yugi moved away from his friend, he didn't want to keep this interrogation. However in the way, he bumped in a girl as her books fell from her hold. She has long brown hair, green eyes and pale skin.

"Ow"

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." Yugi rushed to apologised and bowed sympathetically.

"It's okay. It's my fault too. I wasn't looking where I was going." She said.

Yugi recollect her books one by one while Yami offered his hand to held the girl up. She accepted it.

"Good morning, I am Yami. Nice to meet you." He said and smiled charmingly.

Melissa was fascinated by his smile and decided to throw her charms at him. She flipped her hair and showed him her famous cocky smile. Bold and confident.

"Hi, Yami. The name is Melissa Kirizono. It's a pleasure to meet you." She said and winked. She meant it when she said it was a pleasure.

For some odd reason, Yami felt his cheeks warm up. He had this weird feeling that he met this girl somewhere before. Maybe in his past life, he wondered. More Melissa sends good vibes and makes his heart skip a beat. Something like this would never ocurr already in the first encounter. It takes time to happen and it happens slowly.

Yami gently grabbed her hand, gave it a light squeeze before planting a kiss. "I hope I can see you again, dear."

Melissa's heart fluttered at this small gesture. The touch of his lips on her palm felt so familiar and she enjoyed it.

Yugi watched the scene roll. Sadly he had to interrupt because class was about to start. He retrieved the books to the real owner.

"I am sorry again for bumping in you." Yugi said and turned to the taller boy. "Yami, we have to go now before we are late."

Yami nodded, bidded farewell to the lady and along with his shorter version, went to class.

Melissa observed them go and waved off before going back to her business. She said, a smile grazing her lips. "Finally I meet you again, my Pharaoh."

Shancy:
I don't write one-shots with characters from Yugioh DM but I opened an exception because if it wasn't for Melissa, Natasha and Mika. Well, I wouldn't be in this fandom and neither writing this story.

This story was easy and fast to write. I had fun writing because the OC Melissa is cocky like me.
